A year ago I had some drama with one streamer (who I still like a lot). Now half of my favorite streamers I cannot watch anymore because everyone uses her shared ban list now. And the measures only go further and further and everytime I become more sad about it.

Yeah! I couldn't care less about streamers that don't like me (anymore). There's this streamer that's like always on top of the suggestion list but she banned me for actually no reason and no reason specified. Some just don't care about a viewer less. Also, same applies for raid targets.

I got banned from two streamers because of a two-strike rule breaking on one of the associated Discord servers. These kind of moderators of course flat-out rejected the appeal too and forever banned as such. Even a week or month would be better than forever. And add a way to stay subscribed and add silent support options. And read-only chat.

Yeah. Who ever goes through the banned user list if they are just in a random order?
"Last view date", "Total view time since ban", or something else that could indicate that the viewer is somewhere between a bot and a stalker basically.
Perhaps a "Last donation(?)/gift/sub" option too.みそにゃー

We’re happy to announce that we have released an additional update to address these concerns. Streamers can now prevent their banned users from watching their livestreams. You can find and turn on this feature in the Moderation settings section of the Creator Dashboard, through the “Stop banned users from viewing stream” toggle.
Please note, this update 1). does not prevent users from watching livestreams from an incognito window or while logged out and 2). does not prevent users from viewing VODs, clips or highlights. We plan to explore extending the functionality of bans further, including but not limited to preventing VOD and clip playback.
In addition, we’ve made an update so that users that are blocked will now automatically be blocked from watching a streamer’s livestreams.
We will leave this thread open for your other points regarding preventing view of other content types and account creation.

Banning as it is now is too harsh. Also, I had gifted subs to others for both of the channels, but I can’t give any more support because of the ban.An error occurred while saving the comment みそにゃー

This would mean also people that are not logged it shouldn’t be able to view it. Also, some moderators place preventive bans on every channel you may be on if you break the rules on Discord for example. It’d be rather harsh imho to block all viewing.

Permanent ban without giving a good reason should not be possible. But I can imagine noone is going to look at the reason if moderators aren’t moderated themselves. -

And then you'll have worst of the worst moderators that are power-hungry or dislike a certain person. No thank you.
Maybe a temporary auto ban on new follower. Either way, there can be done something but certainly have to think it through properly.
