An error occurred while saving the comment ThisIsGoldar commentedAs someone who loves spiders: I care more about the comfort of my community / the Twitch community as a whole than I do about seeing cute spoods.
I know there's always going to be someone out there with a phobia of something, but arachnophobia is a big one for a huge number of people.
Please remove it and replace it with something that's at least in a far lower position in the percentage of common phobias.

We apply IP bans in Chat based on users' Moderation actions in certain cases. We don't currently plan to publicize the logic we use because we think it would make it easier for bad actors to bypass the restriction.

A broadcaster is using an application to send the audio/video to Twitch - the audio layers are mixed on the streamer's computer/software, and compressed down to one layer when they are sent over. It would require music-free streaming + Twitch adding music (and thus the option to then disable it), which is not how most streamers work.
I think at one point there was talk about a way to do something *like* that for the sake of copyright/DMCA removal? But I think that required the streamer to still do something different from what they're doing. So while it could be an *optional* feature in theory, I doubt it will ever become a Regular Thing that you can do on all or even most streams.

Yes, please! This way we can put in our identity tags, and still use things like "backseating" or "spoilers" tags without losing pieces. <3
