Hi all! We really appreciate all of the wonderful feedback and passion surrounding this topic. Reading through the comments, we wanted to clarify one point that may have caused confusion:

In this way, creative content stands to have better exposure by being separated from gaming, etc. We will know better once the experiment concludes and we’re able to review the data in full.

That being said, through your feedback, we also recognize that the broad naming of the category as “IRL” doesn’t acknowledge that Creative and IRL content are distinct. Personally I think some consistancy would go a long way. Not only having Art seperate from other streaming sections, but also giving it actual age appropriate selection. People getting banned from the Art section for being 'inappropriate' when it's just art. When you have people playing games with characters like IVY from Soul Calibur or Cyberpunk 2077, additionally you have IRL streamers dancing practically naked for bits, how is this different.

Having clear and concise rules for streamers with consistant reinforcement would be better than just lumping everything together, whether the mod personally likes the person, their culture or their world views shouldn't effect the rules set in place.

Organize a list of rules and exemptions for artists on the platform, and get mods to actually enforce them properly. Engage with the artists and ask why they're doing what they're doing, don't just blanket ban them because the mod is having a moody day.
