Just to provide some clarity – we actually already handle the timezone translation for both streamer and viewer, so viewers should be able to see exactly when you’re going live in their timezone. We realize it’s tricky because we don’t have any messaging that explains this, so we will be working to get that added.

Getting affiliate is easy - 50 followers and 2 friends + you watching isn't hard to obtain. If anything, I feel that affiliate should be barred at 5 average viewers and 100 followers such that twitch isn't owing pennies to creators who will NEVER hit their payout.

Right now orgs/cns can get partner and badges for *anyone* on a need-to-know basis from what I've seen. I've looked into it myself and it's really a bunch of hurdle jumping if you don't do it the "normal" way and that's intentional, probably for the better.
I think twitch officially stating an alternative to the "normal" verification process will just create wannabe spam.

As long as bits subs can be tracked separate the same way prime/paid subs are I'm down.

Streamers who were close to Reckful seem to be against this because nobody is sure that this is something he would have wanted - and many see it as something that will be unfortunately misused. Mizkif even said in a recent stream that he would timeout or ban people misusing it.
