Even if this integration isn’t something that Twitch/Samsung will build, it would be nice to receive a response from a company representative, to set the community’s expectations and give some insight into why the app isn’t available.

To those waiting for the app: You can use the Tizen’s web browser to log in and watch Twitch. A bit painful, but it works. Just type in the URL: “twitch.tv/login” so you don’t get taken to the Twitch mobile page.

For anyone who doesn’t know, there used to be a Samsung TV Twitch app. I don’t think they have ever addressed the community with why the app was removed. It would be nice to hear some reasoning behind this so we can know whether we should be able to expect this ever.
In the meantime, we can still use the Twitch mobile page (m.twitch.com) on the Samsung internet browser on the TV. It’s not great, but it lets you join a stream.
