Unban Request: Ability to have "private" and "public" denial note
Currently, in the new unban request system, the denial note is shown to the user and cannot be private, add the ability to keep the single note private, or have two note sections.
Having a "template" for the public note as well would be nice, as I imagine some streamers will include a note for an external unban request form since this system is limited to 1 request at the time of writing this.

Add predefined ban reasons/categories
I think twitch should add predefined ban reasons/categories (like homophobia, racism, harrasment, ...) that moderators could use. This feature could open to many moderation improvments that I detail below
More details :
- Twitch could reserve ban categories Ids (like the 100 first ids) for common ban categories that every streamer can use
- Other Ids could be reserved for other purposes (country related law, ...)
- Other Ids (let's day IDs from 1000 and above) could allow streamers create custom reasons.
- Moderators often use tools (FFZ, ...) that would help use this feature more efficientlyOther features that…

Username History
Making a feature for streamers to be able to see all the previous usernames of the viewers, if they made changes you can see what username they use to have in the past, for example to prevent from a toxic username or to be able to recognize who they are if they made changes.

Modo Escudo

Allow mods to timeout users more than 2 weeks
Sometimes, it is better to timeout more than 2 weeks to avoid making unban request and to auto-unban after a certain period.

Allow raids to be paused/configured in Shield Mode
Thank you for Shield Mode.
I would like to see the ability to configure or pause incoming raids when Shield Mode is active, such as configuring higher thresholds or pausing raids entirely.

Automod allow and deny
Have a setting that makes it so when a moderator allows a message held by auto mod it does not automatically add the blocked term to the allowed terms list

Shared Ban list warning should apply for all messages, not just first time chats
The Shared Ban list warning should apply for all incoming messages, not just the first-time chat.
Example scenario: A user chats in my stream, doesn't say anything ban-worthy, e.g. "Hello." They say something to get banned by someone who I've shared ban lists with. I want to know that they've been banned but the current implementation will not share that information.
The current implementation makes it quite easy for a bad actor to evade these warnings. Also, it's unlikely that people will open with something offensive unless they truly are trolling.
For this feature to truly be valuable, we need…

Make mods actions more fairly used.
Some moderators could abuse mod tools for no reasons. Take a look from some Discord servers when there no moderation control inside. I would Twitch could be more restrictive about how Mods should work and how to ban properly an toxic user. This suggestion could fit in any social medias cases. We would be hear and respect at any kind.
Ban a user just because he was autistic, could lead an mod abuse and be sanctionable for example.
I would too see Social Medias more conscious about how they manage their product. We got some mods issues on the rival…

Twitch needs a tiering system for moderator abilities.
There needs to be an option to choose what powers moderators get. Training a new mod? give them only the ability to delete messages and give timeouts. One of your mods bans people too easily? Take away their ability to ban people. This needs to be more granular.

Extend chat restriction option to automatically hold back messages from specific users (via auto mod)
Recently Twitch implemented a feature to mark users in the chat as suspicious or to restrict their use of the chat.
But sadly the restrict option only acts as a complete chat ban, which does not help much. (because if someone does not follow the chat rules in streams im supporting as mod, will get a complete Ban)
My idea is to expand the restrict chat access option, so that suspicious users could be restricted in a way, that their messages will automatically be held back by auto mod for a certain ammount of time (or until a mod releases…

moderators are overpowered
I have been banned for having an opinion, the mod that banned me probably had a bad day and decided to ban me for having an opinion on something. I used to watch this streamer everyday until i expressed my opinion on something that the mod disagrees with and i got permanently banned. also the mods on this channel never do unban requests, nor does the streamer (its a pretty big streamer) so im stuck in this place where im banned and no one does the unban requests.
I just think mods shouldn’t have the power to permanently ban someone…

Better Filtering of Users In Chat for Mods
As both a streamer and a mod for many channels, I would love the ability to expand the filtering of "Users in Chat" beyond just searching by name.
I'd like to example filter by Account Age (to help find bot accounts or trolls), filter by length of time following a channel, filter by subscriber tier, etc.
This would be very very useful, especially when trying to find suspicious accounts, ban evaders, bots, etc, for larger channels that have endless lists of viewers.
Thanks!

Add a reason on Suspicious Account
Mods can flag a Suspicious user on chat, but the streamer can only see "Username flagged as Suspicious by Badiiin" for example.
it would be way more useful if the streamer could see the reason why I flagged the user. Writen by the moderator himself.
Example:
"Username flagged as Suspicious by Badiin, reason: Account created just a minute before the follow"

Allow moderators of a channel to view a users logs in-context
When clicking to view a users chat history, add an option to view the messages within the context of the chat/stream (for example: an option to show 10 lines before and after the message in question). Sometimes people say things that look bad out of context, allowing mods to see what everyone else was saying may help clear up misunderstandings.

A way to choose if the banned member gets auto unfollowed or not
When you decide to ban someone and perform the command make a popup come out and the popup says "Do you want this user get unfollowed from streamer?
there you decide if yes or no, because if unfair you get unfollowed because you got a 69 seconds ban (more if you are a guy who has like 3 years following the channel)3 votes -
Confirmation prompt when banning from chat icons
With the mod icons it's far too easy to hit the wrong user as chat scrolls. For deleted messages and timeouts this is a pain, but for bans it pretty much boots the user, so there should be a confirmation prompt.
Other ban methods aren't as prone to going wrong so don't need a prompt.

Moderation
Right now it is very tedious to have to only be able to add one word at a time if you're adding blocked words to your channel. I think it would be better if we could add 5 or 10 words at a time, separated by commas or or semicolons. This would make it less of a hassle for streamers to add banned words, especially if we have a long list of words we want to add.

Expand "/marker" to non editors
the option to "/marker [notes]" is only for editors, however sometimes the Mods would like to just drop a marker for the streamer or for the editors to go back to as a good point of ref for them.
For an example; "Start highlight here, end here"
