Better Filtering of Users In Chat for Mods As both a streamer and a mod for many channels, I would love the ability to expand the filtering of "Users in Chat" beyond just searching by name.
I'd like to example filter by Account Age (to help find bot accounts or trolls), filter by length of time following a channel, filter by subscriber tier, etc.
This would be very very useful, especially when trying to find suspicious accounts, ban evaders, bots, etc, for larger channels that have endless lists of viewers.

Chat Moderation Tool Hello everyone, today I come to propose an idea of a tool that will help when moderating a chat and communicating between the moderators of a chat.
The idea consists of a command that when entering it in the chat, there will be another chat but hidden, similar to how / poll works. To which only the moderators and the streamer will have access, this would be very useful for communication between the moderators and in support of the new tools recently included in the platform, such as the "Suspicious User"

When suspending creators, provide a timestamp of the violation I help manage various Twitch streamers ( https://i.imgur.com/b0XlJ4h.png ). The suggestion is necessary as the reason given is vague to the point of not possibly identifiable. Allow moderators of a channel to view a users logs in-context When clicking to view a users chat history, add an option to view the messages within the context of the chat/stream (for example: an option to show 10 lines before and after the message in question). Sometimes people say things that look bad out of context, allowing mods to see what everyone else was saying may help clear up misunderstandings.

Emergency/Temporary Moderators Inserts a feature which allows the streamer or other moderators to add trusted members of the community to be a moderator when a channel becomes busier than usual or no moderators are actively in chat. This would allow the streamer to further concentrate on their business, whilst not having to worry about a potential moderator overload when the channel is not busy (eg 8 mods to 5 viewers)

Banned List and Reason for Banned Replicate the "Blocked List" commonly used by Twitter. This can be implemented by modifying how the banned button works. Here is a simplified breakdown:
Upgrade banned button to not instantly ban, but bring up a radial list with reason for banning. This would cut down on accidental mod missclick and add more weight to banning. Reasons can be something like "Racist/Homophobic remarks, Threating, or Other with a text box."

Viewbotting/Followbotting Moderators or streamers have a "report" button that notifies twitch staff of a viewbot or followbot attack and it can ping a staff member to come and watch the channel to see the attack in action so that the attacker cannot report the channel for viewbotting/following.

/followsoff Give moderators the ability to temporarily suspend the ability for new viewers/chatters to follow the stream. This would be a useful feature for when followbots and/or hate raids attack a channel, the mods could put /followsoff (or similar) in chat to make the follow button unavailable for that stream. Require logging in to view a stream So in practice this idea seems simple and would be effective. The basic premise of this would be that the Streamer can toggle on/off a feature that would require someone to have a twitch account and be following to view the content otherwise it would just be a black screen that says "Please login and follow to view the following content". I think this could help prevent harassment on various levels as I will describe.

Mod action filters not working For some time now the Mod Action filters don't work correctly. For instance checking Timeout/Untimeouts does nothing. Clicking on Bans/unbans lists bans/unbans and all timeouts even though the timeouts/untimeout checkbox is NOT checked. Selecting message deletions does nothing too. These problems are happening while using the latest version of Firefox and Chrome and my fellow mods are reporting the same thing. This has been going on for months now.

Restricted messages must be shown for mobile moderators Hello.

I know that this proposal takes a lot of points to fix moderation on mobile devices, but, with the new restricted chat messages per user, makes this feature useless if moderators can't see them as well. Meanwhile the app gets attention for improvement from the developers, at least, can fix this ASAP so moderators keep moderating.

Clear Timeout/Ban Log Sometimes mods timeout/ban someone on accident. We quickly unban them, but it still shows that they've been timed out and their record isn't clean. This can be harmful to the chatter as other mods or the streamer might think they've actually done something wrong and make a decision in the future based on this false record.

Add predefined ban reasons/categories I think twitch should add predefined ban reasons/categories (like homophobia, racism, harrasment, ...) that moderators could use. This feature could open to many moderation improvments that I detail below
More details :
- Twitch could reserve ban categories Ids (like the 100 first ids) for common ban categories that every streamer can use
- Other Ids could be reserved for other purposes (country related law, ...)
- Other Ids (let's day IDs from 1000 and above) could allow streamers create custom reasons.

Modo Escudo El Modo Escudo no funciona bien en Castellano ya que bloquea demasiadas palabras que no son insultos ni despectivas, sin sentido alguno, quien lo ha programado no conoce nuestro idioma y por ende los moderadores o el streamer pasa más tiempo readmitiendo gente que haciendo directo.
Además hay que entender que en el Castellano sí se usan palabrotas de forma natural pero rara vez es a modo de insulto, siendo más un halago por ironía, comedia, humor o una dramatización; el contexto es importante y conocer la cultura del país también.

Allow mods to timeout users more than 2 weeks Sometimes, it is better to timeout more than 2 weeks to avoid making unban request and to auto-unban after a certain period.

Allow raids to be paused/configured in Shield Mode Thank you for Shield Mode.
