Remove Hate Groups

Remove hate groups such as Autism Speaks and LGB Alliance. These are not charities.

LGB Alliance literally call for the killing and elimination of transgender people. By allowing them in this section, Twitch is advocating for the genocide of transgender people.

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. Following a thorough review, we have removed the LGB Alliance from our list of approved charities. Twitch does not allow charities that violate our hateful conduct policies on Twitch, or whose organization or leadership engage in or promote behaviors that violate our Off-Service policy. You can find our response on Autism Speaks here.

We include a wide range of organizations in Twitch’s charity tool through our partnership with the PayPal Giving Fund so that streamers can choose which charities they align with and wish to support. Inclusion on this list is not an endorsement from Twitch. However, we regularly review the list and remove organizations that violate our policies. Please continue to share your feedback to help us improve charity on Twitch.

    Remove Autism Speaks.

    You’ve been given a surplus of resources proving they break your TOS. Look at them, and act accordingly.

    We won’t let you hold up this known hate organization.

    It seems you are really sure that Autism Speaks doesn't break your off-service policy... Unfortunately you are wrong. The current wording of the policy is very clear on multiple things that they are actually doing.

    Therefore I propose you either: -Enforce the policy as written.
    -Rephrase the policy so that it no longer seem like you're not enforcing it. Do not give us fake impression of safety we do not have. That's very dangerous because bad actors being left unchecked and actually given the green light is very hard to take in after being told that wouldn't happen.

    To be clear, this isn't a request to remove Autism Speaks, it is for you to fix either your enforcement of your policy or the wording of the policy.

    I may be Cis-gendered, however the idea that Twitch supports Hate groups like LGB Alliance and Autism Speaks means that I'm unwilling to spend any of my money on twitch. I'll support the Steamers I like in a way that neither Twitch nor Amazon gets my money. I will not allow my support of creators to cause harm to creators and their audiences.

    i am a part of the transgender spectrum and i am proud to be who i want to be. my partner and best friend are both trans and both autistic and it just hurts to see that these 'charities' want to harm those people. if you take my best friend and partner away, then youre going to have h-ll coming your way. you are giving MONEY to 'charities' who want to eliminate people just because they are different. so much for being raised to believe that we could be anything we want, because in reality, we can only really be who we want under adult supervision. get your act together twitch.

    As an Autistic Nonbinary person I cannot feel safe in an environment that allows the support of organizations that believe I should not exist

    As a trans person, this is personally offensive to me and everyone else like me. You are directly funding efforts to eliminate me as a person.

    This is completely stupid. Not only is it hurtful to those that these "charities" are affecting, it's hurting Twitch because people aren't going to want to use a platform that advocated for mass genocide of neurodivergent individuals and people who simply aren't born in the right body. I can't believe Twitch would do this but unfortunately companies make mistakes. Fix this or it will, I kid you not, kill your platform AND your community.

    Hate groups like the LGB Aliiance inspire hate crimes like what we saw at Club Q in Colorado. As a trans/nonbinary streamer if Twitch doesn't remove this group from their charities I will have to take my streams elsewhere. It's extremely disheartening to see big online platforms side with my oppressors time and time again.

    Please listen to the voices of those these "charities" claim to be helping. Trans folk have been an integral part of the queer community, and the LGB creates a dangerous division.

    As for Autism speaks, they push for blatant eugenics and ABA practices, which harm those involved greatly. Please research the harm they've done. Please listen to our voices and don't let this organization speak over us.

    As an autistic queer this just hurts, twitch do better. Twitch is managed by grown *** mens and they don't even bother in see every bad thing autism speaks and other charities do. Do better

    For autism speaks you could chalk it up to doing 0 research which is already bad, but how do you miss the blatant transphobia in the NAME of lgb alliance??
