Develop and enact a policy preventing harmful charities from accessing Twitch's charity tool
Twitch's current community guidelines focuses behaviors that happen on site but many nonprofits do not stream or engage on Twitch. And becoming a nonprofit within the United States is relatively easy and affordable. FB, Google, and YouTube have stances against nonprofits that are discriminatory in nature or provide access only if the recipient of the program converts to their religion. Allowing nearly any nonprofit to be fundraised for through Twitch's charity product opens a new vector for abuse one that has serious real world implications given that money is involved.

I think the Twitch Community Guidelines should apply to the Charity section, especially since they claim it applies to "all content on our service". In my opinion, the act of raising funds for a hate group could be considered "promoting" or "encouraging discrimination" which goes against the Community Guidelines. However, it might be necessary for Twitch to write new guidelines specifically for charities, since we are dealing with offsite groups.

This is a very important idea, and we're seeing a lot of why it is important.
Hate groups are able to sneak their way into charity lists by being added off-site, through things like the PayPal Giving Fund, without any repercussions, or protections for Twitch users of any kind. This needs to be addressed. As noted, this goes far beyond individual voices and into the realm of global change for the worse.

If charities of discriminatory and hateful nature are allowed to continue to fundraise on twitch, I would rather the entire charity program be shut down. I strongly agree with this suggestion and do not in any way think the charity program should be functioning without clear guidelines and thorough vetting.

Having anti-LGBTQ+ charities on the list is unacceptable. Needs to be fixed.

Heavy agree. Build the process, vet the charities, and put the nationally positively ranked ones in immediately.

I agree with this, Twitch should also have a stance against discriminatory nonprofits to prevent abuse.

Yes please. Why was this not the very first step taken?
