We wanted to let you all know that the process for getting a charity added to the Twitch Charity Tool has changed, because of this, we will be closing out these requests. At this time, the charity tool is fully integrated with the PayPal Giving Fund; so if your charity is registered there, you can already find it to start a fundraising campaign. In the case you find your charity appears to be missing from the tool, please reach out to the organization regarding registering with the PayPal Giving Fund.
You can learn more about how to sign up your charity here: https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/twitch-charity-charities. For more information on Twitch’s Charity Tool, please feel free to access our FAQ Help Article: https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/twitch-charity-faqs.
While we normally respond to each idea on UserVoice individually, as a result of the volume of requests and the scope of this change, we will be mass responding to let the community know. Apologies if you have shown support for multiple charities and are receiving more than one email update for this adjustment.
Thank you all for giving us your feedback and for sharing your passion for your charities with Twitch!
As of the most recent update that just came out, it looks like Extra Life has been added. However, it doesn't look like you can enter your unique ID from Extra Life in order for the funds to go towards your specific EL fundraiser. Hopefully they can add this functionality.
I agree, would love to see this added
Please add Extra-Life to the searchable options, I currently dont have them show up!
I am an extralife streamer and would love to be able to connect with them through twitch.
I was surprised to not see it in the list, considering they included it in their example screenshot on their own support article about Twitch Charity.
