   We educate. Offered in thousands of communities across the United States through NAMI State Organizations and NAMI Affiliates, our education programs ensure hundreds of thousands of families, individuals and educators get the support and information they need.

   We support. Throughout the country, our NAMI State Organizations and Affiliates host support groups, for both those with mental illness and caregivers, so that no one feels alone in their mental health journey.

   We advocate. NAMI shapes national public policy for people with mental illness and their families and provides volunteer leaders with the tools, resources and skills necessary to save mental health in all states.

   We listen. Our toll-free NAMI HelpLine allows us to respond personally to hundreds of thousands of requests each year, providing free information and support—a much-needed lifeline for many.

   We lead. Public awareness events and activities, including Mental Illness Awareness Week and NAMIWalks, successfully fight stigma and encourage understanding. NAMI works with reporters on a daily basis to make sure our country understands how important mental health is.

   28 Group Observed (SCIO) are a small Scottish Charity working towards restoring a Cold War era nuclear bunker just outside the City of Dundee.

   We have been running the charity since 2015 although the restoration effort has been going since 2004. The bunker is almost completely finished and every year we welcome the public in to see the site and learn the story of the veterans of the Royal Observer Corps from their service during WW2 right up until the end of the Cold War in 1991 when the Corps was stood own. We fund raise for ourselves to maintain the bunker and continue to offer public tours and next year we also hope to fundraise for the RAF Benevolent Fund which supports veteran Observers through hard times.

   We run events at the bunker which get streamed on Twitch and being able to fundraise directly through the platform would be very helpful.

3. NaNoWriMo.org

   Writers from all over the world attempt to write a 50,000-word Novel in the Month of November during National Novel Writing Month or NaNoWriMo. They also have events in April and July for Camp NaNo, and they host a Young Writers Program for school-aged children. There is a fairly large writing community on Twitch streaming Virtual Write-Ins throughout the year, and no doubt some would also love to support this writing adventure!

7. Endometriosis

   Endometriosis is a women's disease that needs to be more widely known which should be discussed that's why I think this is an important charity to be added to Twitch. 1 in 10 women has it, but how much it affects them differs greatly. More research is needed as to the causes and treatment for this disease, because much is unknown. Extreme menstrual pain is not normal. And not only menstruation problems but also infertility, miscarriages and chronic pain. It can have a huge impact on a woman's life.

17. RUM-Gaming, a military veteran supporting non profit organization that provides free 3D printing and gaming computers to qualified veterans.

    The Regulators of Unchecked Misfortune, also known as RUM-Gaming, is a community-driven 501c3 non-profit organization, committed to bringing veterans and gamers of every make and model together. A quintessential part of RUM-Gaming revolves around offering support and outreach for our fellow veterans through a multitude of free services. We strive to enable fellow veterans with a way to connect with us and others in the gaming community. As veterans and gamers ourselves, we feel gaming is an escape from the real world that some people might need. Especially our combat veterans.

    To help support our fellow Veterans with this virtual escape, every month we give away free 3D printing time and as often as possible, we giveaway free gaming computers to qualified Veterans.

    We also host a welcoming gaming community to ensure our Veterans and fellow Veteran supporters always have a guild, faction, or clan that they can call home. Through our dedicated Discord server, Twitch/YouTube channels, and multiple social media sites, everyone is invited to stop by and show their support.

    To support these free services we work with a third party to offer computer building services and 3D printing services. If you need help to get the monster set-up you need to take to the skies and fight for honor and glory, we’ll personally design, build, and ship you the ideal gaming computer based on your individual needs and available budget.     PancONE Network is the international research division of Pancreatic Cancer Canada Foundation, which aims to disrupt the traditional approach to discovery in pancreatic cancer by bringing together multiple sectors, innovations, and novel methods to drive real change. We’ve waited long enough for the kind of meaningful progress that matters in the lives of those directly affected by this horrendous cancer.

    Survival must increase more rapidly than 1-2% every decade. If we could change the odds for ****** cancer in our lifetime, what is stopping us from doing the same for pancreatic cancer?

    A huge portion of their support comes from content creators on Twitch, so it would be awesome to have them as a nonprofit featured on Twitch Charity!
