  1. Respond to people who have their payment threshold "On hold", there are many people who need help with this, we just need to know if we will receive the money or if Twitch can do something removing the money. It's frustrating to see the same email from twitch support solving nothing.

  2. Hi.

    As a user, I've been repeatedly and increasingly unhappy with the level of transparency the Twitch team offers to their userbase.

    You drop unannounced updates
    --> Example would be the /me change

    You don't reply to userfeedback (aside from incredibly broad statements)
    --> Mails towards the Twitch Support are answered with automatic replies. Most of them send users to UserVoice
    --> But here on Uservoice, barely anything ever gets an answer and if so, it's a "we'll think about it" until it either is forgotten or we're back at the unannounced Update again.

    You force random users into beta…

  4. The main page says "Welcome to Twitch's feedback and suggestions forum!"
    But then under "If you need help:" it says "This forum is for ideas only."
    Yet this is where you're send when you go to leave feedback on the support page.

    If Feedback is being referred to as "ideas" that might be something to consider.

    I wanted to give feedback about something, but now I don't know if it would be breaking the rules or not because of semantics.

  5. The NES community would like an NES category to stream to and find streams to view for discoverability (similar to Retro). The Retro category has too far of a reach in content.   6. Categories are so important to drawing in new viewers. My channel is focused on the classic DOOM game. The DOOM categories need to be cleaned up. The most common one used for classic DOOM is DOOM-2016. Instead, I recommend you consider consolidating the DOOM channels into DOOM-CLASSIC and DOOM-MODERN. Thank you!

  7. A novel simple concept... Have twitch support... read.. the.. tickets people put in instead of asserting with nonsense that had nothing to do with the entire ticket?

    I've tried multiple times to report a bug that's blocked me out accessing the subscription button of channels yet every response from support is, "I'm not eligible for a refund".... I never mentioned wanting a refund... even replied with HUGE TEXT saying NOT ABOUT REFUND!!! (guess what their response was.. ) just wanted the bug addressed or help clarifying a cause.... bye bye sub streaks all due to twitch support inability to read/lack…

In light of the hideous change to the Twitch policy please allow users to customise preferences to auto-filter out all known channels who can now also stream video highlighting their "breasts, buttocks or pelvic region" or failing that allow Channels to be blocked more easily with a single click when Browsing categories.

I do not agree with the new sexual content policy, as due to people being naked on streams Twitch has allowed it to be ok but when Vtubers show any under boob or are wearing a bodysuit Twitch wants to get mad and ban them and I don’t think that is fair as big corporation VTuber get away with it but y’all wanna go after a streamer with a smaller view range and I don’t find that fair at all as most of Twitch is made of VTuber communities. So if your gonna change the policy you should allow it…

  11. Since every email support thread includes a reference number, it would be great to have a way to search that reference number and see its basic status - closed or open, any pertinent information, etc. and ideally contest any conclusions or closures due to poor or inadequate support.

Web browser experience > Whale browser (made by NAVER) is one of the active browsers used in Korea and the users are mostly 10s to 30s (which means this browser's target is very young) , but Twitch is not working on Whale browser.   14. As of this very moment when you go to the New World game section on Twitch, the top 3 livestreams aren't even livestreams. They're vod streams. That isn't what I'm on Twitch for. If I wanted to watch vods of these people, I make a conscious effort to do so and go to their channel and click on a vod of theirs. When I'm browsing the live section it's because I want to see live content. It isn't only annoying and deceptive towards the customer, but it's also unfair towards the livestreamers who are actually live at that very moment.

Twitch users need a way to reach Twitch support that is not filtered through your support form categories; by making everything so narrow and assuming you have anticipated every single problem users might have, you close the door on anyone having a novel or unanticipated problems, and they fall through the cracks and are not served. Twitch closing their general help@twitch.tv inbox was a huge mistake; a cost-cutting move I'm sure, but to remove such a basic service from your company renders your product hard to use to the point where you're just going to make people leave.   17. I respect a channels right to ban users from their chat for any reason, without explanation.

    I am just looking for some clarification in the community guidelines or documentation for what a channel can demand from a banned user to facilitate the ban being removed.

    • I have seen some channels direct users to their discord or other off-site resource which can be fine in most cases.

    • I have seen channels require essays or some other assignment which I have seen be a positive experience that builds communities.

  18. I needed help asking a question and when attempting to find the category for it to be placed under other for broadcasting issues there is no category for what is related to my question. I'm only given articles for other issues not dealing with my questions as well as not able to email support in the help center doesn't alway work when the issue isn't there.

  19. At the very least, the first email that is received which assigns a case number, should have a copy of the information that was submitted.

    My issue was not able to be resolved, and it was suggested that I try posting
    here (on Uservoice) instead. I already spent time typing things out, and honestly I was hoping that my concerns could've been forwarded to the proper Product team rather than being told to post on Uservoice.

  20. This is probably not a regular issue, but the last email I got from you guys had some error which made it look like complete spam when viewed from the iPhone default email client. There should be someone in the process to look over this since it's such a large mass email.
