  1. Having a way to recover VOD's after deletion. I cancelled prime membership and completely forgot it was connected to twitch. I now only have parts 2 to 6 of my FNAF Security Breach lives. I now can't post this as a 6 part series anywhere else

  3. Buy the rights and create a music catalog for streamers to pick and use on their stream legally aka Amazon Music Player. If Instagram and Facebook users can allow music clips on their own content or profiles then twitch can definitely allow users to use music legally on their channels. This is beneficial for the content creator, musical artists, and Twitch. More revenue will be generated overall by allowing this and also it will help filter out who is using this legally and illegally. DMCA's should only be used for people abusing this and not using for example an amazon…

  4. Instead of removing or replacing the audio entirely to mute, add licensed audio but let us be able to hear the streamers still. Add a twitch produced sound over the copyrighted audio rather than muting, and let the streamer still be able to be heard entirely

  5. I'm writing because I have an issue regarding muted audio.

    Here is the link:
    https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1260727539

Your software says that the audio is muted because the song at 6:03 allegedly belongs to BaliBiki and is titled "Do Hee."

    There are two issue:

    1. The song at 6:03 is title "The Space Was The Place," was written by Audio Hertz, and it was released into the YouTube public domain library in 2020.

    2. When I Google "BaliBiki" and "Do Hee" the song doesn't match the track at 6:03 in my video. That song is titled "Road Tripzzz" and was written by Ofshane. And, it…

  6. Ban people who send hate raids for longer or permanently. Hate raids are intentional and planned and are bad for the community. Hate raids against high profile streamers will always gain the person some support because the higher the profile person the more people there will be who also don't like them. Being soft on hate raiders will incentives harassment as an avenue to gain an audience and reward people for harassment as they will have popularity and attention for it when they return in 2 weeks time.
If harassment is incentivised more people will do it and twitch community…

  7. Any streamer on a look see streaming copy righted material should be struck from the site period. They tend to be partners or affiliates thus making a mockery of that status. Folks are out here doing some amazing things that take time to grow and these streamers are getting subs and donations off the back of copy righted material. It is not ethical and should be dealt with harshly.
At this point no one can claim ignorance of dmca rules and copy right obligations it is simple as that.
When twitch gets sued by warner bros and the whole thing…

  8. Copyright violators are running rampant on Twitch right now and for the long term good of the site and the people who make a living off of it, users should be able to report suspected copyright violations and Twitch should investigate and take action if it finds that the streamer is using someone else's content.

Twitch needs to get ahead of this wave of bad behaviour before powerful corporate entities or politicians force Twitch to take action that harms everyone.

I'd also recommend implemented a YouTube like 3 strike copyright violations system for egregious repeat offenders.

  9. Telling every community without a question on what terms and usages in their own communities are disallowed, aside from a few exceptions that can mean nothing but hateful things, is a little ridiculous. People come from different cultures and accept different things. Streamers should be able to create their own guidelines and 'accepted vocabulary' in their own community.

These guidelines would of course be required to be displayed fully on their about pages so people who would not be able to handle more 'lax' communities can avoid joining in such places. Something they of course have every right to do.…

  10. With the new year a number of works have now entered the public domain. A given channel's audience may be global and so these works will not enter the public domain uniformly. Presently the existing guidelines specify that the broadcaster must have the rights, but there is an important distinction between the rights within their own country or for all countries the broadcast may reach (in effect, the longest duration across all countries). If the rights apply to individuals who may be viewing, then it would be preferable to be able to restrict the broadcast to certain regions so that…

  13. It can be rather unintuitive to post links as evidence in user reports, as they're not parsed and can easily be overlooked. Therefore, to reinforce user reports more effectively, I suggest that Twitch upload files as attachments therein, such as pictures and video files.

  14. The community guidelines prohibit spam, one of the categories of which being posting large amounts of repetitive, unwanted messages or user reports, such as this:https://twitter.com/DomGang420/status/1441270323429576709/photo/1

However, I have yet to see any users be punished for doing this, and I understand that a lot of users have been clamoring for ways to deal with it for a while now. Adding on to all of the ideas put forth so far, I would ask that Twitch deals with users who continue to spam in chat better than it apparently deals with them now.

  15. There is a clear and present epidemic of bot accounts on Twitch (eg: The innumerable 'hoss_###' accounts) harassing streamers and viewers on Twitch, especially smaller content creators.

These bots are using a malicious third-party extension which can capture and log users' IP addresses whenever said user clicks on their name in chat, to view information about them as a user or views their channel.

Since the report feature currently requires clicking on a user's name, this exploit undermines users' ability to moderate and combat these bot accounts. There are ways of banning these users directly from chat, such as Nightbot,…

  17. Why not get together with the Msuic and Movie copyright managment companies ans such, so that you can work out an agreement that allows copyright owners to be paid, and Twitch isns't being sued and spending tons in that effort.

This would pave the way for people to be able to use music, and show things without violation of copyrights. At no time should broadcasters/streamers be given any of that revenue. Why? Simple, the content is not owned by them.

If you can have systems monitor for violations, just set them to place links within the video, and in the…

  18. Logs should only be available to the moderation team and the existence of third party websites that are using bots to constantly save chatlogs represents a potential security problem for the user. They shouldn't be publicly available

In this specific case I'm talking about, https://logs.ivr.fi/ that uses a twitch irc bot easily available in, https://github.com/gempir/justlog

I hope there is a way to control this or at least make it harder to setup.

  19. I would like to see more clarification on the Community Guidlines - Additional Gaming Content Guidelines. It states "Linking to sites that include slots, roulette, or dice games, or sharing affiliate links or referral codes to such sites is not allowed."

This leaves content creators at a guess as to what they can actually do. Can they speak about it? Can they link to their own homepages (and have the links there)? Is any gambling website (non-casino) allowed to advertise still in stream or links?

  20. Greetings,

I am unable to find where to submit feedback about reports of streamer violations not being acted upon. That is, Twitch's platform moderation ignoring reported TOS violations. There needs to be a way to contact someone higher up when this is occurring.

The specific reports being ignored are of streamers violating the "Nudity and Attire" rules in Just Chatting, some every stream, whoever is receiving reports of this is not doing anything because the streams continue without being moved to Pools, Hot Tubs & Beaches category.

    Please get better moderators.

"For all streamers, you must cover the area extending…
