Ban Tools
Would be great if stream teams and streamers can share banned users with other streamers.
IE Streamer one has a offensive troll in their chat who gets banned. The streamer could have a option after or during the stream to share the ban with other streamers who are friends or in the same stream team.
Example
Streamer 1 bans "user 1" from their chat due to offensive or disturbing behaviour. Streamer 1 can then share that ban with a created "friends streamer list" where by they can say, user 1 was banned in my chat due to the following, please apply this to your channels.
Streamers 2,3,4 etc can then choose to accept the ban and click add to their channel or can chose to reject as they do not believe the ban affects them.
Hello everyone! Happy to announce that Shared Ban Info is now available for all streamers! Shared Ban Info builds on the Suspicious User Controls system and provides a simple way for you to share info about who you’ve banned in your channel with other streamers to help keep serial offenders out of your communities. You can learn more about this new feature in our Safety Center.
As always thank you so much for your valued feedback and for making Twitch the best place to stream!

I see a number of streamers mentioning about a possible feature to 'share' banned users with the other streamers.
When a group of streamers agreed on sharing the ban list, it means that banning/chat-restricting a user on a streamer's channel will automatically ban/chat-restrict the user on other steamers' channels.This feature will be helpful because, as a mod, I see multiple times that banned/chat-restricted user usually goes to another streamer (especially the one who's collaborating with the steamer where the ban was made) and start trolling/spamming in their channel. This feature can help streamers to prevent from happening such things beforehand.

J'aimerais en tant que modo, avoir accès à l'historique des bannis en vue de modérateur.

I could especially see an appeal for this if twitch gave "Stream teams" the option to have universal moderators, so they could ban or do actions across the entire teams channels as well,
i know global moderators use to exist for twitch staff, so this would be like that but for teams *

Many times when a user is banned in one channel, the streamer typically bans them in other channels they are affiliated with.
Instead of this, streamers could join a "Ban Group" and anyone banned by one creator is banned in all channels that have joined that channels "Ban Group"
Almost like a shared streamer blacklist.
It also gives greater weight to bans and prevents stream hopping toxicity across the site.

this option already exists _ just copy/paste users names and share with your friends , then in your chat /ban #username .
_my need is different :
when i am on a page i wish i could ban the streamer directly with the button "more options"= 'report' (only) , i wish they could add a 'ban' function .AND when i ban a streamer PLEASE i dont want to see his/her face anymore = in other words i wish they just disappear from the 'suggested streamers' and leave some room for other suggestions .
please thanks regards ,)

In my time modding for channels, there have now been multiple occasions where there has been users who are posing problem across multiple channels and have been "leap-frogging" between other stream team members once they're banned on one.
This is then leading to having to find who's channel has been hit next and attempting to communicate this with them to make them aware.
I think that if a user is banned from other streams, this is something mods and streamer should be able to see, but along side this there should be a box where it is explained why the ban occurred.
This will allow streamers to swiftly deal with users prior to any harrassment or issues rather than just having to deal after the fact.

Quick reply on Rosuav's comment.
3rd party software can indeed do this, but only if the broadcaster authenticates or gives a bot MOD rights.A JSON import option for broadcasters and mods would be a great solution.
Another option would be to extend the API (https://api.twitch.tv/helix/users/blocks) and allow authenticated mods to ban users on the channels they moderate. -

Came here looking for exactly this suggestion. It would be great if there was a way to export and import ban lists, since there are teams that often share a chat community.

Third-party software can do this. With the appropriate authentication, an app can be notified any time you ban someone, and can then share that (or you could choose to share that) with other streamers. Those streamers can then empower the app to ban those same users, under whatever definitions you choose.

On the Team / Network side of things:
Having a centralized ban list for those who've caused significant issues / are bots on one or more team channels would be awesome.
Of course, this should be opt-in via the same mechanism used to share Stats and Income reports to teams currently.

there also needs to be a way for users to be banned from the channel IE no viewing. stream sniping is a terrible issue that twitch needs to combat

I highly recommend this, if we streamers can just import a list of names to ban from the channel, preferably in JSON format to make it easier when importing names from a list it would make a huge difference and effort to thwarting problem users who come in mass to troll raid.
The reason I recommend JSON format is so that when you import a list of names to be banned, you can also include the ban reasons alongside those names you're importing, and it's a very easy clean way of doing things. ie;
{
"username": "john_doe123",
"ban_reason": "Bot spam"}

Allow streamers to either temporarily/permanently import a ban list from any streamer. Provide the option in the streamers dashboard to import ban lists from a list of streamers they can choose from. If you raid a channel your banned list is imported automatically to the destination channel, so that the channel being raided doesn't have to deal with problematic users. This is not hard at all to code, quite literally a simple feature that solves a major problem.

This is a great idea. Keeps the community clean of troll accounts within your stream team.
