The Issue with the Hot Tub Meta
Recently in the twitch community, there has been a rise of hot tub streamers also known as the "Hot Tub Meta". This has been a very controversial issue but I'm going to give my thoughts on the issue and hopefully twitch will do something about this. On twitch TOS it's stated "Content or camera focus on breasts, buttocks, or pelvic region, including poses that deliberately highlight these elements". This means any sort of content that deliberately does these would be against TOS. Now when we look at how the Hot Tub Meta we can see that it's unhealthy and unfair to the community. When I was looking through some of the streams a streamer called "Kaellyn" had their butt covering half the screen which I would assume is against TOS but nowadays it's hard to tell. Although the whole stream isn't just that it was obvious that she did to satisfy her chat. Another example is the popular streamer "Amouranth" who lets their viewers donate money to get their name written on many things the most common one being floaty. Just tuning into the chat for a few minutes I saw many twitch users send very questionable things such as "Show feet Kreygasm" "Show your booty" "Change bikini" and many more things. Constantly messages were being deleted by mods because they were either offensive or very ***. Another issue is the fact that it's clear that these streams are *** but the streamers don't even care to put the stream to mature just to get more people. This means that many kids can easily just go onto these streams and see big booba's. It's clear that this issue has gotten out of hand and that it needs to be stopped. My final thoughts are that although this stuff is "content" I don't think it's healthy or fair to the community and streamers to continue letting these streams go on. I think streamers should be able to be creative with their content as well. Hopefully twitch will something about this. Thank you for reading.

I think the TOS should be updated to say that a non-sleeveless shirt and at least shorts (no Daisy Dukes) be worn at all time. It's better to be clear rather than so generalized that streamers who push it to the edge or over can make an argument in their favor and win.

Focus on Real Streamers and or Small Streamers to get support on your front page and not those girlies which playing in Bikinis etc...
I thought Twitch is very strickt on those Rules and Regulations

this needs sorting.
those stramers should all be banned or removed from platform.
this breaks the t.o.s

I hadn't thought of mentioning it here, but since you've already called attention to it... I can't bring up Twitch in my living room with my kids home for this exact reason. Taking away from the gaming community is one thing, but seeing the app freeze up on the home page with *** cheeks pressed to the camera is a huge deterrent for letting it play when I'm not around to monitor the content.

I was thinking like.. we should add a category for hot tub streamers. just so if I wanted to go to the cam girl section on a stream gaming website I could.

I have been using my free Prime subscription for about 2 years to help support small streamers. I will not be using my free Prime subscription going forward until you resolve the hot tub meta. Little kids should not be bombarded with hot tub suggestions just because they follow wholesome female streamers.

Hello everyone,
I mean is it ok in 2021 to be streaming almost **** content on twitch and everyone is fine with it? Because I am not there is plenty other web pages for **** contect and I hate to watch hot tub naked girls on my twitch. My point is not to create bubble around me and not be able to see them. This has literally nothing to do on twitch at all!
I would love to get some feedback is this is really fine?
Thank you

I’ve been seeing that mostly all the hard working streamers that have been grinding getting ban for absolutely anything, while you have this explicit hot tube streamers showing way too much not getting ban.

Stronger NSFW Management
The Hot Tub Meta, is too close to Cam Girl Lite.
There should be zero linkage to any external site leading to NSFW X Rated Content, You know exactly what I'm talking about.
Recently there was a discovery of a website called BunnyHop.TV that many would attempt to warn some of these girls about this site, and the majority were not concerned. They were not concerned because it supported them and their cause. These girls are not stupid, don't act like they are just some innocent streamer trying to do some kind of content. Giving people the Option to, ignore said content is the same thing as promoting soft adult content which is more than the common adult content that you typically see from body painting for cos players. This Hot Tub Meta, though it skirts the rules of being with in said NSFW rulesets. IT still promotes ***********. These girls mostly have links to nudity content that can be purchased from places like onlyfans or patreon... There needs to be a rule that disallows such content even being linked to twitch. It's not about managing the streamer, controlling what they do outside of twitch. It's to protect the family platform, to prevent the **** industry itself finding it's place inside the twitch channels. Body painting is content: in the form of art to create a character out of your own body, such as turning yourself into an alien or the black widow or some comic character.
Sitting in a hot tub with a wine glass and pretending to play a dominatrix character is pushing it, but it is acting.
Intentionally wearing a bikini to show as much of your body as you can, to only have peoples names written on boards, or a floaty or your body. As you would see most commonly done on an adult site such as chaturbate or bongacames is going to far. To cosplay the cam girl is not content when you are the one actually promoting **** sales yourself, on an external site that leads from twitch. The Line of twitch and external sites should not be crossed and should remain in the realm of SFW.
There is art, and then there is promotion to external activities that is not safe for a family atmosphere. TWitch Staff are more than welcome to contact me directly and I will be more than happy to assist in providing the information that supports this argument. You have heard the community at large express their concerns. Yet you listen to the those that would make attempts to blend plexstorm idealogies into twitch.
If you are going to do that, then fine. Atleast make an algorithm, something different then affiliate or partner to accomodate an Adult Pass.
Imvu has something similar to this. they have the very day user, then there is the vip for more pg13 content, then there is the ap which embraces the more adult nature of the users. Giving them access to everything they want to do.
If you can seperate the channels and protect the community from these channels to opt in to pay for said AP Ranks, giving twitch a cut back then you might be in the right direction here.
However, the community is clearly not wanting this adult content on the side in this extreme.
I have given my arguement and have shared a form of resolution. It is on you to do something better than what you have done.

To just respond to "BIG_FAT_MIKE"'s comment.. "To show of their more than half naked bodies"
I believe in medicine there are "%" used for body parts to define "How much burned you are" Like "hand 9% each, head + neck 18% etc.
When you see these "Hot tub streamers".. how much do they hide?
Nipples (some covers a bit more around breasts.. depends on the bikini they are using atm.) + small area of the bottom region.
So .. 5%? 10% of the body is covered? Maybe?
How far do you need to go to get to "nude" category so Twitch actually starts doing something? Next part is literally "nude" / "****" category.. -
