Make it so banned people are only banned from chat, not from watching the stream. Banned users can't even watch the stream they're banned from, or chat. Blocking banned users from chatting makes sense, but you shouldn't stop people from watching content they enjoy. Simply watching a stream without interacting is in no way harmful to the streamer - and I don't see why bans have to stop viewers from being able to watch them.

Punishment for account suspension evasion should be relative to the suspension being evaded As articulated in the title, I advocate for a nuanced approach to suspension evasion, one that accounts for the severity of the original suspension being evaded. Currently, the consequence for evading suspension is uniformly indefinite, regardless of the duration of the initial suspension, even if it is as brief as one day.
My proposal entails a differentiated response: users evading temporary suspensions, ranging from 1 to 30 days, would incur an additional penalty of 30 days. Conversely, individuals already under indefinite suspension who proceed to evade it should face heightened repercussions or remain under indefinite suspension, as previously determined.

copyright enforcements I just recently started streaming music in my streams. today i used twitches own download, pretzelrocks, and some of my content got cut out for copyright issues. how am i supposed to know something that is being advertised as safe to use for music has copyrighted music thrown into it? I dont think it is a very good idea to use these music companies as recommendations if copyright enforcement is going to be thrown in even though its advertised as safe to use while streaming.

Stop Automatic Bot Suspensions Before Human Review The just updated community guidelines have highlighted a massive issue in how you handle community reports. There have been many streamers who have streamed in accordance with the new guidelines around sexual content relating to art, and almost all of them have been suspended. Some have been suspended, had their suspensions lifted, and then had the bot slap it back on, all for literally working on the same piece of art. Stop giving sexually explicit streamers special treatment and get rid of that content Twitch has become known for giving sexually explicit streamers not only special treatment when it comes to moderation but when it comes to rule enforcement as well. There are tons of examples of streamers being banned 5+ times for sexual content and still only getting 2 day bans max. It would be nice if twitch didn't turn their site into a hotspot for **** addicts. If you are banned from a channel, please remove them from your "recommended channels" carousel When a person is banned from a channel, it turns out that the channel which they were banned from can be put on their recommended carousel.
First, it makes no sense to be offered a recommendation to a channel that wishes you not to go there. But also, for a case when a person is unaware why they are banned, it adds quite a bit of anxiety to see it repeatedly recommended and provides a less than stellar experience.
This should be a common sense feature to be approved.

My video was stolen and used to file DMCA claims against me. Stop letting people who don't own the audio file a DMCA claim. I played one of my own YouTube videos on my stream and it got muted because someone reuploaded the video to YouTube and Spotify SEVEN YEARS LATER and claims to own it.
I AM LITERALLY IN THE VIDEO. IT IS VERY EASY TO TELL I AM THE PERSON WHO MADE IT. I believe these false claims are a form of harassment against me, as many women & trans people on Twitch face similar types of aggression.
My VODs get unpublished every time I stream now because someone has been given permission by Twitch to claim they own MY work!!

Give voices for unjust / unfair banning or suspension Considering the blacklist of users can be shared to other channels, it is highly possible that it can be misused and lead to unjust banning or suspension by the channels that are not related to users' past offence. This is discriminatory treatments for those users, and it is unjust. An example is suspension of users due to racial or sexual slurs, while the streamers are the one who say it first or goad the users to it.
And what if from the start those users were banned or suspended unfairly, and their past "violations" are still recorded in that list?…

Lighter Restrictions While it is great to restrict inappropriate and negative responses in chat, it would be nice to lighten some of the restrictions that force those that do have generally positive, constructive, and/or harmless responses to be deleted while timing a user out. The DM chat provides a failing alternative to this, forcing other methods to also result similarly to the above punishment, if not a more worse punishment. Fixing this issue can also provide a method that can also bring more content creators and viewers to Twitch.

Formal Complaints I would like to know how to make a formal complaint about the lack of responce from the reports system on your platform. I have been suffering abuse and harassment for a month from the same user and I have reported every time they have said or done something abusive or harassment, which has been at least 10 reports over the month and I have been given no responce and no action has been taken. Gambling Hello twitch,
Please start enforcing your community guidelines rules regarding gambling as outlined in the October 18th 2022 disclosure. For some reason you choose to ban sites such as "stake" and "rollbit", but allow others that are much worse such as "punt".
The October 18th post states that Twitch will "prohibit any streaming of listed sites that contain slots, roulette, and dice games and are unlicensed in the U.S.", yet the site "punt" is not only illegal in the United States, but they also have no KYC, meaning anyone of any age can play on the site.

gambling Unregulated CSGO gambling. I don't think unregulated gambling should be allowed on twitch and neither should affiliated gambling. Affiliated gambling codes gives creators a small percentage of what their viewers loose on the gambling website to the creator as a reward for their viewers signing up and loosing money. Prevent banned users from DM'ing the streamer Several users that have been banned in the channel I mod for ignore the unban request feature and DM the streamer directly. This has always been an incredibly toxic interaction and really defeats the purpose of banning someone in the first place. Banned chatters shouldn't be able to DM the streamer of a channel they're banned from.

Better moderation and banning rules Okay, I just wanted to ask if you could review your bannable behaviours: I found out that a streamer was permbanned for saying the world "blacks". I don't think that you should ban someone, worst if it is a streamer, for saying such a thing. Instead, the racist ones are the moderators. - users are not told why you are banned, but you get to see the last 5 messages you sent.
- users only get a small number of characters for their unban appeal, which may not be enough.
- users are not told if OR WHY their appeal is denied

Stop banning innocent users who barely use their account for "botting or automated account" There are numerous users out there who have been away from Twitch for various reasons, like busy working, on holiday, forgetting their account, etc. who then return to Twitch only to discover their account has been banned for "botting or automated account".
Case and point: my boyfriend, who was banned by twitch on Jan 29 2023 for botting [which he's never ever done], unbanned, and then banned again Feb 13 for the exact same reason. They're also MY ONLY MOD, so by banning them, you've effectively made my stream more vulnerable.

Improve Chat Ban Appeals! Why is it that we only get one chance to appeal to a ban? All I try to do is atone for my sins and be accepted again.
