Mature Audience Only Is there a better way to filter or make sure that if I have my channel in Mature Audience only, that it is understood? Like can we have a little rating setting we can place or have it be better defined in the Topic/Category settings for streams? As well as if there is a way we can make sure it keeps the chat/audience of age?

not allow unregulated casino content not allow unregulated casino content. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQoMSeoWbbk . this is a problem twitch is directly contributing to and likely aware of since they've been removing affiliate links to these unregulated casinos. There is a large group of influencers using twitch to stream unregulated casinos, encouraging many including those prone to gambling addiction to join them producing billions in annual income on the back of addiction.

This a game streaming platform not a site for fan service. vr is blowing up and with vr streamers, lately alot of vr streamers have been slipping by some of the rules and its kind of concerning. if you watch most of the streamers youll notice that the content feels more like fan service rather than a reflection to the game and/or personality. i feel like the rules for vr in general should just be more strict since the creations of most of the creators has only been sex related if not blatantly sexual. please rework some of the gameplay guidelines so that vr has specified rules since it is somewhat…

Let Streamers dictate their own community etiquette and guidelines. Telling every community without a question on what terms and usages in their own communities are disallowed, aside from a few exceptions that can mean nothing but hateful things, is a little ridiculous. People come from different cultures and accept different things. Streamers should be able to create their own guidelines and 'accepted vocabulary' in their own community.
These guidelines would of course be required to be displayed fully on their about pages so people who would not be able to handle more 'lax' communities can avoid joining in such places. Something they of course have every right to do.…

Sexually driven streams Hi, today I was at work and I have the right to go on any platform that is SFW when im free, so I often go on TWITCH.
The problem here is that I got a strike and almost lost my job because there is stream appearing at the front page featuring softcore **** (Obvious sexualisation while wearing as less as possible cloths).
I really like looking at streamers playing video games and also learning things, but your platform host NSFW content wich is weird for a gaming platform.
I can't explain how frustrating being talk down by my employer…17 votes -
mature Mature Audience streams can still be viewed in small parts by going to their clipped videos and watching clips!
This shouldn't be allowed?

Ban people who send hate raids for longer or permanently. Ban people who send hate raids for longer or permanently. Hate raids are intentional and planned and are bad for the community. Hate raids against high profile streamers will always gain the person some support because the higher the profile person the more people there will be who also don't like them. Being soft on hate raiders will incentives harassment as an avenue to gain an audience and reward people for harassment as they will have popularity and attention for it when they return in 2 weeks time.
If harassment is incentivised more people will do it and twitch community…2 votes -
Enforce the Harassment Policy The new harassment policy sounds lovely. But, how can we be sure Twitch will actually enforce it? Many of us have experienced harassment from viewers as well as creators (hateful raids, etc) and nothing has ever been done. How can we trust you’re going to do something now?

Safety: Close Public Access to Past Deleted Content Anyone is currently able to access deleted Clips and VODs via a Twitch database that is open and accessible via the stream ID. This is incredibly dangerous, as personal information such as addresses, names, employment, etc., may have been accidentally disclosed on stream, and is now permanently saved for the public to access at anytime, even if the VOD or Clip is quickly deleted.
PLEASE close this server access to the public for our safety!

Don't ban specific words that are not slurs Twitch plans on soft-banning a handful of words in their next policy update, namely "simp", "incel", and "virgin", in an attempt to ***** down on ****** harassment. They say it will only be in cases where they are used as insults but I want to get ahead of this since community outcry is already bubbling up.
Banning individual words that are not slurs not only lumps them in with genuinely harmful words but also encourages an environment where context is devalued. The above three words are usually used in a joking manner, but I worry that shuffling them into the…

Making drinking alcohol to the point of being drunk on stream by the streamer in public TOS There is a safety concern with streamers drinking alcohol (multiple drinks) and becoming visibly drunk on their own stream in public (at a bar, restaurant, park, etc.).
If this were made TOS there would be significant safety advantages to the streamer themselves: (1) female streamers who are visibly drunk in public may be at risk of being taken advantage of (invited to a stranger's hotel room), (2) even if not driving, drunk streamers in public could be at risk of unsafe situations such as stumbling in the street, (3) making such behavior TOS would help protect streamers by discouraging drinking…

Forbidden Words Twitch, please make a complete list of what you can't say on streams so that everyone knows the forbidden words, and not be afraid to say something wrong, thank you.

Control at partners in live chat I've found that affiliates can get donations from you if they do enough. Yesterday I discovered a streamer who during a Minecraft game told in detail pornographic noises and sexual preferences in the live chat, if people in the chat obscenely teased them or you were against it, the sentences in the chat were deleted directly by a moderator.. ...Since it's against the rules for a partnership on Twitch, and the streamer becomes money for dirty content, my idea is that words spoken live such as sex, private parts etc should be heard and muted the same way as when…

Pepe the Frog is now recognized as a hate symbol I feel like having Pepe the Frog as a chat emote isn't so great now that it's an alt-right symbol, so if you're really averse to removing it, maybe send out a message to Twitch users explaining why it's there because I think to some people that could feel kind of partisan? Thanks

Ban Global emotes that are primarily used for hateful purposes "Hateful conduct is any content or activity that promotes or encourages discrimination, denigration, harassment, or violence based on the following protected characteristics: race, ethnicity, color, caste, national origin, immigration status, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious medical condition, and veteran status." - Twitch Community Guidelines (As of 30 September 2021)
By that metric, global emotes such as "TriHard" and "cmonBruh" should be removed as they primarily serve to spread anti-black racism throughout the community. Any honest twitch user can attest to this. I see no reasonable excuse for keeping them.

More admins for french speaking stream I think twitch needs more admins for review stream, TOS and grief from french speaking community . I think it's important for them to make a safer place and not overly trolling spot and everything

Bits cannot be directly exchanged for items or services of value In "Bits Acceptable Use Policy / Now the Don’ts that constitute violations of this policy:" we can see that it is included in don*ts "graphic design services". I think this is totally wrong. Why I am thinking that? 1st you (Twitch) loosing a large amount of money because of that and there is nothing wrong with offering designer services in exchange for bits. You like it or not, bits are some kind of currency and streamers using it for all kind of things on their live streams. If you really want to push this "Now the Don’ts that constitute violations…

18+ NSFW content section and filtering With twitch taking a large stake in livestreaming as a whole I feel it is best for twitch to branch out into allowing 18+ NSFW content on the platform.
I propose that 18+ content is limited exclusively to verified 18+ users of the site, and is impossible to discover by default - but can be found using a convenient account setting.
In this way ambiguity between certain game content and body painting can be eliminated by defining what makes content 18+ or not 18+
A safe alternative to other NSFW live stream sites can be created through twitch in this…

Banning words I've seen that Twitch has been banning of words like 'simp', 'incel', and 'virgin'. These are mostly terms used towards males, yet horrifically offensive terms like "bitch" , "pussy" , "cunt" which are used to belittle and demean Women are not? It is used to belittle and offend Men, and sometimes women and put them down, in the most horrific way and has been used for years as a sexist term to say that someone is less of a person or 'inferior because they are a women' so they call them either a "bitch" , a "pussy" or a "cunt".…
