  1. After reading the most recent updates to Twitch's guidelines, there are a lot of questions that come to mind.
First, I feel like we need to define what can be considered artistic depictions of nudity and what can be considered ***********. As an erotic painter, I would usually refrain myself from streaming while I'm painting, but these new rules are excellent. However, we need meaningful definitions. Otherwise, various people can abuse this term.

This is off topic, but when it comes to changes to dances, part of me disagrees with it, but another part of me wants to know if…

  2. Why is the term '******' accepted at Twitch/Amazon? From what I can see it's completely acceptable for streamers/Twitch chatters to use this term freely.

Twitch has cracked down on most bigoted language, so I am curious as to why this term has been allowed to be said?

  3. There have been many cases where people have been suspended for blatant rule violations by committing sexual and or vulgar acts, however these ban/suspension durations (if they get banned or suspended at all) seem to be directly related to the large following and income they bring to twitch. it would seem to me and most anyone with access to your site, that it is an unfair practice to simply pick and choose who you decide to allow to break the agreements based off of the monetary value they create. Ive recently started streaming myself, and have had one viewer suspended…

  4. To Whom it May Concern at Twitch and whoever else decides to read this,

While I am not someone who streams on Twitch, though have considered it, and who rarely finds myself watching streams, I still had been rather excited for the recent, now declared null, update to the TOS/Policy on Sexual Content.

I am not someone who participates all that often in adult content, but I do believe that it should be able to exist in adult spaces for those who do wish to participate. The internet has become a hostile places for those who wish to see or…

  5. Why is twerking allowed without a label, despite being potentially seen as sexual, while nudity, a natural act, results in legal consequences?

  7. Contradictive Community guidelines and Content Classification.

Why is it that Twitch is so concerned about the nudity in games. And yet you have nude and naked streams being allowed and being promoted to the top of the view this.

What is best is that when my kids and their friends go onto the TV and open twitch, suddenly Reccomended for you they habve these Naked women and naked ***** all over the screen.

Remove the Hot tubs and steamy baths or whatever they have it.
You cannot report those channels. The minute that you do, it says their is a…

  8. The following two sections of the Community Guidelines should be on the same page so streamers know when they must use the "Pools, Hot Tubs & Beaches" category:

    1st Section

    https://safety.twitch.tv/s/article/Community-Guidelines?language=en_US#22Attire

    "Standard guidelines

We don’t permit streamers to be fully or partially nude, including exposing genitals or buttocks. We do not permit the visible outline of genitals, even when covered. Broadcasting nude or partially nude minors is always prohibited, regardless of context.

For those who present as women, we ask that you cover your nipples. We do not permit exposed underbust. Cleavage is unrestricted as long as these coverage requirements…

  9. Your "Safety" policy prohibits "realistically doctored nudity" without any explanation or examples of what that even means. I suggest updating the policy to provide clarity on that.

  10. I would like to know how you secure control the whole web, in front of teenagers, when a lot of channels on twitch are sexual content, isn't it over the edge when someone films their *** for several hours in a bathing suit so that everyone can take sexual comfort from looking at the ******? It looks like pornographic material to me?!

This content should not be easily accessible live, it's easier to watch content here than other sites that are age restricted and verification is required! I recommend creating an access option for this content only with age verification…

  12. I suggest allowing third-party applications to show merged chat during streams. Showing all chats from various streaming services will increase inclusion as then all viewers can chat with each other as well and not be left out of conversations without having to leave Twitch to go to another streaming platform. By not allowing the ability to merge chats through third-party services it decreases inclusiveness.

  13. I am trying to understand how it is possible that promotion, glorification and usage of Stalinist and Soviet imagery and symbology on stream is not banned under the user guidelines I quote at the end of this post. In many countries in Europe, especially Baltic states, Poland etc. Stalinist and Soviet symbology is treated the same way as Nazi symbology and for a good reason - it is a hateful ideology of an authoritarian regime that was historically committing crimes against humanity against its neighbours and its own population - I am not for censorship overall but if we are…

  14. hi twitch, i was managing my own clips in creator dashboard and at the end of all my clips, 2 streams popped up as recommendation in Just Chatting (as i was managing my Just Chatting clips) and were both from the same creator; the thumbnails were of her naked with her legs and chest exposed (but nipples out of screen). i was slightly taken aback, you know, as my monitor is huge, and it is 4am, and i was not ready to see such nudity while casually editing clips and unwinding from a stream.

    i'm female, and i don't care…

  15. Recently Twitch updated their guidelines and with the update the tags "Suicide Prevention" & "Suicide Awareness" have been removed as tags as they go against Twitch community guidelines. I am appalled that Twitch would remove advocacy for people who are trying to promote better mental health through trying to prevent suicide. I have been a strong advocate of suicide prevention through having discussions about mental health in order to remove the stigma around it. I hope that Twitch reconsiders this decision to blanket ban any tag with the word 'suicide' in it so we can go back to utilizing this…

  16. An account that has been indefinitely suspended from Twitch has most likely committed a serious violation of Twitch's policies.
However, the suspended account creates another account and broadcasts, or the suspended account's audio and video are still broadcast on other streamers' channels.
Recently, there was a case where a suspended streamer purchased Twitch Con tickets with a different account and entered without permission, resulting in his colleagues being suspended for supporting “Suspension Evasion”
Currently, many streamers are violating the "Suspension Evasion" policy.
The “Suspension Evasion” policy needs to be updated in detail.
This policy affects credibility, so sanctions should be…

  17. Suggested Guidelines for Artistic Nudity

While it was sad to see the Artistic Nudity policy get rolled back due to abuse, I do believe it can be brought back with a clearer definition and key restrictions in place.

I have a framework of the policy that I think can be useful.

    Artistic Nudity Guidelines

"Artistic Nudity" refers to nude artwork, i.e. Nude art that does not feature or detail genitals of either sex/gender and female subjects with exposed breasts or nipples.
Drawings, paintings, digital or canvas are allowed to feature Artistic nudity, provided the art does not incorporate the depiction…

  18. I understand that with AI that it became difficult to tell the difference between digital art and photography. Since that seemed to be the greatest source of issues, it seems like the best concession might be to disallow photo realistic nudity until a time when the difference between photo realistic AI art and photography can be more easily identified. Outside of that, I would say requiring explicit and age appropriate tags and making it so you have to opt in to see adult media in the setting should be enough to allow artistic nudity. If there are any other issues…

  19. Digital depictions of nudity present a unique challenge–AI can be used to create realistic images, and it can be hard to distinguish between digital art and photography.

Most art sites have a stipulation of "if we can't tell, it's treated as real." The current flip flop is just going to confuse people and cause undue stress and accidental violations by people meaning well.

    IE. Pixiv: (not allowed)

Images that are primarily real-life photographs, regardless of the use of filters or photo editing (*)
Real-life photographs or photo-realistic images that can be interpreted as sexual content

  20. There's nothing inherently wrong with women (including those who identify as women and female presenting people) with having breasts/nipples.

We all as humans have nipples. Just because someone is a woman, that does not mean she should be required to cover herself while men are allowed to be shirtless without them being shamed for it.

There are women with very little b r e a s t tissue as well as men with enlarged chests (for example gynecomastia or simply being overweight).

If a streamer (regardless of gender) obviously sexualizes themselves on stream (such as groping, sexually moaning, imitating or…
