Host Alerts
Bring Back or Fix the Alerts for HOST: Streamlabs, Streamelements and other apps, doesnt show an Alert with someone is hosting witch 1 person, many of those are new streamers in the platform trying to connect o viewers showing support.

We want host alerts back. Guess what? People usually host when OFFLINE! so there's usually no people in chat for your stupid minimum viewers requirements, but we want to acknowledge and thank the support. If they are ending their stream, they just raid instead. And no, having an extra window to have the stupid Stream Manager clouting the limited screen space we have, and adding one extra thing to keep track doesn't work! Why do you remove functionality without first asking for feedback???? Oh, wait, you did ask for feedback when you did this back in 2020, and we said no, so now you do it again???? This is as idiotic as when you increased raid alert requirements to 5 viewers: BOTS AND HATE RAIDS HAVE MORE THAN 5 PEOPLE! but small streamers might not

I really hope they fix/change it. hosts are often done offline and are actually helpful to communities so the alerts were an amazing way to show people you appreciate them for it. Twitch needs to bring them back or they need to help bots such as SE SL ect. to get the information to allow the alert no matter how many viewers

During a recent exchange with a Twitch tech support rep, I was told (in part):
"Please keep in mind that hostings under 5 viewers will not be displayed as a notification/alert. If a creator is offline-hosting your channel, no hosting alert will be created either!"
"Unfortunately, it's not possible to enable hosts notifications for offline hosting at this time. Our system is unable to fetch the required information when a creator is hosting offline."This is really terrible, because most people that host me either do so when they're offline. I've resorted to RAIDING instead of hosting, so that the notification gets generated. It's a bit more arduous to do, though...

I think that the host of my viewers has helped me in the past to gain visibility on the platform.
The small channels that are growing require all the help of the community and communities of streamer friends to gain recognition.Re-add HOST alerts would show that Twitch thinks about all of their content creators, starting with the ones that are still growing.

hosting is a great way to help a streamer and I think the host alerts were amazing. if people have a problem ad an on off toggle

We can’t autohost, it currently only functions properly on mobile, and going on an offline channel on mobile is such a hassle, it’s just bad.
And now we can’t host either, well we can but nobody will know that we’re hosting them because they’re just not told at all.
Now I say “we”, but I mean the small streamers that are trying to connect with other communities, that’s literally your entire platform, at least give us the **** choice if we want to know or not

It should be perfect to re-add the host alert, even if it's a host by 1 person, it helps a lot! it gave us a feedback on who are helping us! at least notification on chat or something.

Please fix this. One of the biggest companies + One of the biggest streaming tools company for over a month have not communicated on how to allow them to use the API to allow these hosts. Hosts are usually 1 person and it is SO nice to start a stream and have a bunch of host notifications come through and streamers spend a lot of time customizing them. How does something like this break? Twitch updated their API and it broke the host notis. Please fix this.
