Add a setting to disable auto-joining a raid.
I think a user-profile option to disable automatic joining of a raid would be a useful feature. Some channels have various reasons or incentives to staying in offline chat and sometimes you can't catch the whole stream and can't opt-out of the raid.

Please add this option, I'm listening streamer with low mic volume and when raids are really annoys because streamers are screaming!

Yes, PLEASE! I want to keep my work computer in only one stream, i don't want to be redirected to another URL every raid the streamer does.

I'd love this. There are a few channels I watch for their respective in-game drops, but I'm not always available to catch them live. It's really annoying to come back and find my browser on a completely different channel.

Absolutely agree. I enjoy watching late night streams but the Twitch app doesn't give me the option of disabling this dismal version of 'autoplay' and it turns out that option simply doesn't exist.

Why can't I vote on this. Is this a WONTFIX?

I really dislike the host feature. It has basically trained me to close Twitch whenever I step away from my computer at all, because the site thinks it is okay to control my browser for me.
I should not be required to leave the site in order to maintain control of my own browser.

i fall asleep to streams, i don't want my already capped bandwidth wasted by waking up to find i have been cycled through 4 channels and 5 hours of streams i wouldn't have watched in the first place.

Ultimately Twitch just wants more money. More time you spend on it means more money they get (ads), view numbers, etc.
Implementing this feature wouldn't benefit them. Your user experience only matters if it will net them more money. You should support FFZ if you care about your user experience and push these types of requests onto them.

I have to agree with this. Being forced to automatically join a raid when initially it was opt-in is really annoying. Getting so tired of coming back to my PC after having to step away only to find myself in someone else's channel who I don't even know half the time.

I do not want my channel to change just because streamer did a raid. I've come back to my computer to someone I don't know hosting someone else I don't know using language I don't approve of or wanting my daughter to overhear. I have started closing all chats, which reduces viewer counts to channels I want to support due to this. I need an auto opt out for all channels. This needs to be on by default.

I often fall asleep with a Twitch stream playing for background noise, and raids and hosts wake me up most of the time. I can turn off hosts (thanks FFZ?), but I can't automatically opt-out of raids.

I love the idea of raids. But the concept of being forced to do something when i am not around or asleep leaves a real shite taste in my mouth. If it only opted in Active chatters i could see it, but it opts in everyone. Lurkers and all. I dont like waking up in a stream with a totally different vibe than the one i went to bed in. Make it active chatters only or give an option to turn it off please.

Yes! Hosts and raids aren't my cup of tea, and awful when you fall asleep to a chill stream only to get woken up by whoever they raid. At least with BTTV you can disable hosts.
