only affiliates and non-affiliates should be able to use the boost this stream rather than partners. if the boost feature is added, won’t it benefit bigger streamers rather than smaller ones? i think it needs to be beneficial for them too.

Do somthing for smaller streamers for once? Stop just catering to your partners - this is all the boost system will do.

Restricting the service to streamers who actually stream This entire idea of Boost this stream is amazing. As a content creator I am more than happy and ecstatic at the thought of maybe having this on my own channel. Although I see this tools usefulness in aiding smaller streamers grow I feel that certain criteria should be in place before becoming eligible to have access to a boost. For example: You can't get boosts on your channel unless you are an affiliate, You can't buy boosts in anyway shape or form for yourself and you can't get boosted if you are a partner. I feel the most important…

Give a live demo Show live via a Twitch Ambassador streamer or another Twitch official channel how this works.
If the boost system in any way can be used to over take those with a smaller audience, by having a 200+ viewer channel boost it's way in front of a 45 viewer channel, then there lies an issue.
I wanna see what it does before making assumptions if it's a positive feature or not; whether I want to support the feature or not. As of now, it seems fine but I would love a live feed demonstrating how it functions, and answers to questions…

Longer Boost Time I am no where close to being a partner, and this happened for me (average 12 viewers). I was so amazed when I got the oppurtunity for this. It was a bit tough to reach the goal, but you have 2 days. When I completed the Boost challenge it made my stream boost to 56 viewers. It only last about 10 mins. I feel like if this is going to be a thing, let the small streamer enjoy the Boost a little longer. I do not feel this option should be for partners.

Boost improvement idea I feel like this does favor big streamers. Like, sure you can scale it this way or that. But if you have 0-5 viewers, this won't do anything for you. Perhaps if you could accumulate these points and use them to raid a small stream?

okay so... what if there’s a system where if a smaller creator, and I mean someone who posts content/streams, boosts a larger creator via channel points, they get a mini boost of their own by a thing popping up in chat saying “this person booted this large creator!” & they get a little spot on the main page. just an idea

Boost by collecting bonus channel points instead of spending Instead of spending channel points to boost the stream, could the boost bar be filled a bit every time someone collects their bonus channel points? I love channel point rewards and I hate the idea of people choosing between boosting my stream or redeeming them for fun. This way people can fill the boost bar by actively watching, and still use their points for what they like.

Forget boost I wish you and the team would stop trying to push features like this. Instead of having a "boost" feature, why not work on a better way to make smaller content creators to be discovered?
Many have resulted in branching out to other social media and content creation platforms in order to funnel more viewers into twitch because of the over saturation of streams. Look at how addictive YouTube and Tik Tok are... Also look at how easy they are to just continuously browse and find new content. These are the things you should be focused on.
Honestly, Small streamers…

Let the streamer choose when the boost happens So I like the idea, but just a few tweaks. I like how the challenge can just pop up and we have a couple days to complete it, but upon completion can we save the boost for the future? I got the challenge on my "friday" so I felt compelled to make sure I completed it within the time frame forcing me to stream on my day off. I did complete it but then the boost happened right away. I would love to see it for the next stream where I can prepare for it, kind of like a front…

Add a cut off on Boost eligibility On paper, boosting a stream to help discoverability is great, but if larger streamers who absolutely do not need any form of help when it comes to being discovered are being given boosts, it absolutely defeats the purpose of this feature, which is to help us smaller streamers get some footing on Twitch, something that Twitch's own help article on it has admitted to.
My proposal is that there has to be a cut off on who gets to be eligible for Boosts, where if a streamer has been accepted into the Partner Program or is very, very close to…

Make Channel Points in a Boost More Useful During a boost, as it's described now, people can use up to 2,000 channel points. This isn't an issue for viewers with a lot saved up, but more casual viewers might have to choose between other channel point rewards and boosting. To fix this, making it so channel points spent on any reward during a boost contribute to the boost could help. This makes boosts feel less like a waste of channel points, and could make boosts more hectic and fun. However, if a streamer doesn't want this, they could maybe set a limit on the number of redeems that…

Time to get points should be based off streaming hours not days The boost this stream should be based off streaming hours instead of 2 days. For example, I got the "boost this stream" challenge the other day, but I was ill and had to cancel my stream the day after, then the day after that is my off day.
It will now be missed because we were just short on the day it came in as it came in at the end of my stream. Instead of it being 2 days. Have it be the next x amount of hours streamed. This gives people the chance to hit the goal if…

Give a boost token/ticket HI! I thought about an idea where instead of the boost "just popping up" on stream randomly, we can get a ticket or token that we can activate or turn on. Once turned on you can't turn it off until it expires. It would give communities a chance to make it special or even schedule it. It could have an expiration date so it will motivate the streamer to start it soon. I would love if we could hold the boost for another stream, giving time to prep, again. That way the streamer can talk about it on social medias…

The Twitch Boost feature should tell you WHEN you will be boosted! My community managed to raise the 63,750 channel points that were needed for the Twitch Boost (other channels a similar size to mine only needed to raise 20,000ish, but that's another matter)
Basically, we raised the amount and I wasn't aware that the boost starts AS SOON AS you unlock it and for that stream only! I was only doing a very short dog walking stream, so when I ended my stream that was it. I had lost my boost. I was under the impression it was for a limited amount of time and that it would continue when I…

Enable Streamer to start the boost I was notified when I went live that my boost had started. I had 2 days to raise the channel points. My community came in big and put the channel points forth. It literally did nothing for exposure. I saw no difference in viewership from using the boost versus a regular stream. I'm not sure where it puts you on the list of channels, how it promotes you, etc but as a small content creator, I expected it to run a bit different. I expected it to put me in the top of the page for a limited time to…

Channel Point Bit Sale What I am thinking would be a channel point booster that would allow everyone in the channel to reach a Twitch Specified Goal i.e Twitch would scale the amount needed. Once the amount of channel points were pooled by the community it would trigger a community channel points "hype train" during this time anyone using bits would receive a specific percentage off their bits 5% , 10% similar to when the heart events go on. They could also receive a price break on any gifted or purchased subs during this time. I think this would bring in a lot of…

Small Streamer help Boost How about a way where if a small streamer or struggling streamer donates to a charity twitch is featuring they get put on a rotating banner on Twitch main page for feature. Must average below 10 viewers on average. It can be daily or weekly and if its a lot of donations then weekly to be sure they get promoted. Promotion stays up depending on donation amount. Just a thought.
