I realy like to collect channle points in streams to get vip and that kinda stuff. the only problem is that i want to have channle points myself but i dont want to have to fill in the application for affiliat bc of private inf and stuff and i know that its safe its just that i and many other streamers is not 18 or dont live alone taking their own desisions and that might mean that parent(s) will not aprove giving out this info and then the streamer cant get channle points. so please make a achievement that only gives channle points so we dont have to fill out a application.

so i been affiliate since 29th august and still don't have the option to give my viewers channelpoints! Plz fix this!

Why even have this now , when not everyone can use there points . Go back and redesign it and when its avalible for everyone then come back so we can make predictions and USE out points where ever you are in the world.
And plz make it so you can turn the it off so you not get the pop up.

-1 for this. If you were Affiliate and now not, means you do multi streaming or do you want to stream on other platforms...or something like this.

So as others already commented before, you may use a bot like (Streamelements or Streamlabs) and do points and rewards stuff for free.

If you want to have Emojis and all the new features, come back to the family :)

@Lajistiic : To transfer channel points from one channel to an another is I think a bad idea (and even this is a very different topic).

If you transfer your 150k to my channel, and watch the stream for 5 minutes, you could buy a VIP badge on my channel for example for 100k. Sorry, but you are not a VIP in my eye, because you did not watched my stream for 500 hours, rather than maybe a hot tube streamer who is not me :)

I have over 150,000 channel points in channels that ended up quitting streaming, thats over 500 hours collecting channel points that I can't do anything with now. I'm hoping to create one big channel point counter that you keep across all channels or a way to transfer channel points over to a different stream.

I'm sorry but I disagree on this. While I agree that it is a nice feature to have and allows more and better Viewerinteractivity, its not the only way like others stated before. I don't really know myself why twitch made it only available for affiliates and above, affiliated or people who sign a contract with Twitch obviously should receive more Perks and its a nice Feature to look forward to unlock. Achieveving Affiliate should feel rewarding as well so I can see why certain things should unlock after becoming one and the post itself sounds more like you want everything the page has to offer with not being obligated to sign the contract.. So there are obviously still a lot of other ways to use for interacting with your chat which might not help you. From a company state of view, If new streamers want to unlock nice features, they have to commit to the contract with twitch with kinda makes sense for them I guess.

Update to me: I went back to being an affiliate, but my stance still stands. And people can say just get a channel bot, however you have to use bot commands to access and know about the channel points. With the twitch points, you see it right in front of you without having to jump through hoops to find them and its just over all easier to use so it still just makes sense for everyone to have access to them since it's really on there as an incentive for going for affiliate.

If you don't want to be an affiliate or partner, get a channel bot to do your channel points instead.

+1 As a little Streamer you can do more with your Community with this feature. And when Twitch says that non Affiliates only can have 25 Rewards. Better than nothing.
