Mods participation in polls
For what reason should a mod NOT be able to participate in stream predictions, mods are viewers as well, before I got my mod badge I was a dedicated viewer. Preventing mods from participating creates that even bigger disconnect from the viewers and just divides communities more.
Mods deserve better. They r one of the most reliable helpers, viewers, friends Nd everything. They work the hardest to keep things right. They rly rly rly rly deserve better
mods you all are best .You make stream more safe and happier .great work ,keep smiling always be happy .
i feel that mods have to get channel points becaus ethey and the streamers are the important ones in the stream and the chat memebers are the supporters
just allow mods to participate they should also have a reason to to vote since theyre viewers as well
yeah kinda sucks tbh lets votee
MODS HAVE RIGHTS
Idk why this is so low in votes , we mods are viewers too , we shall bet too
I would like that Mods also can join Predictions.
At least the Streamer should have the Option to let Mods join or not.
A Streamer got Mods for a reason and Mods a People the Streamer trust, so i guess no one would Cheat the Outcome to his own favour, even if everyone would notice it.
And maybe there could be a Option for the Streamer only to remove the last prediction, just in Case something went wrong.
I’ve half my viewers can be mods. So it means I can’t really use the predictions
I'd argue that predictions should use a tiered permissions system.
If the channel owner set up the prediction, all mods can participate but the outcome must be confirmed by the channel owner (by default).
If a channel editor set it up, all mods (excluding editors) can participate but the outcome is confirmed by the editors or the channel owner (by default).
Lastly, if a regular (non-editor) mod created the prediction, all other regular mods can participate with the exception of that mod, who is in control of confirming the outcome (along with the channel owner and any editors).
If it were to be abused, the channel owner can just disable editor-created and mod-created predictions as necessary.
I share this meaning Moderator should take part! especially because smaller channel sometimes miss somone to bet against. It would be already enough if streamer and mods could set a pool to win. give some kind of regular point pool to win. I would suggest 100-300 so that it is not to much but a good way to tease the viewer to set and bet even if nobody is taking part. This way mods would be limited to.
I'd like to add to Andrew's comment. Streamers should set whether or not mods can participate. If abuse is a concern then allow the streamer to also set the winning outcome and the outcome MUST be approved by them only.
Offline chats can always abuse it so I think having the streamer manually approve the outcomes will prevent abuse.
Agreed, having mods not being able to participate also discourages regular viewers from participating when they see not many people partaking in the predictions. Streamer should be able to view via the activity feed who initiates and creates the outcome to look over potential abuse.
