I can't see streamers go to other platforms.
Music is essential for streamers. Streamers who cannot play songs because of copyrights go to other platforms. Buy Korea Song Copyright

  2. Why don't you mix the 'Watch Parties' service and Amazon Prime Music together?

It's a service in Twitch in joint with Amazon Prime Music
so that the Creator could play a music and the only way the viewers can
listen to the music is by registering through their own Amazon Prime account.

I'm going to call this 'Tune Parties'.

For people that just listen to music during stream, the streamer plays music on the
'Tune Parties', and viewers have a option to hop in just like the current 'Watch Parties' service.

However, in case of streams of music creators who…

  3. 1.impose copyright costs on TWITCH subscription fees so that all replay videos with copyrighted music can only be viewed by subscribers

2.Troubleshoot music copyright issues with fees by banning all third-party Donation Apps and allowing only beats(official donation) (doing so on Korean streaming sites)

3.Dividing profits with copyright holders like YOUTUBE

  4. to protect your content creators from the dmca vultures, you should make all vods and clips muted by default pending review and the channel creator could manually un-mute after they have reviewed the content for any potential dmca audio.

  6. TWITCH SHOULD BE REACHING OUT TO ARTISTS AND GETTING APPROVAL FOR ENTIRE PLATFORM!!! Many many many artists would love to be able to have their music played on as many streams as possible. After all, it's FREE MARKETING!! Twitch should work with these labels who own the rights to make these decisions over the artist, and bring music back to streams. Artists get free marketing, labels make more off of that as ewell as the artists, and viewers and streamers alike get a much more enjoyable product that can also lead them to music they love that they might've never…

  7. Allow streamers to set a default VOD description which would be automatically added to any new VODs created. It might include things such as credits for creative commons content they use, etc. so they can avoid DMCA strikes twitch seems intent on holding us responsible for and include stuff like their social links and other info.

  8. An option that detects copyrighted content and removes streams or clips, or cuts off the parts where this content is detected to avoid removing the glorious work you've done.

  9. I believe that the Twitch Audio Algorithm meant to catch and mute copyrighted material should be improved upon.

Many streamers have had parts of a VOD muted due to a copyrighted song, even though that song is a part of the game, and is in-game audio. The streamer likely paid for the game, so they aren't streaming the game with that song in it for free.

I believe the Algorithm should improve upon looking for audio that is both inside and outside of the game, OR, whenever the Algorithm checks for copyrighted material, a real person needs to give the…

  10. Because of this clip thing and the strike when you hear music in the clip copyright, I had the idea that you as a streamer can restrict the clip function or deactivate it immediately and reactivate it if you want

  11. Similar to the Watch Party. This way Streamers could share music with some of the viewers (prime members) without this whole DMCA problem because only viewers who have access to the songs anyway can listen to them.

The only issue would be how you would handle that the streamer hears the music too, without making it audible for nonprime members. But this way people would still have to pay somewhere to listen to the music to give the artists credit and at the same time it would improve the quality of streams. In my opinion, this would even help musicians…

  12. Thanks for putting together Creator Camp in the first place! It has a wealth of resources and gives me more confidence to get started.

One thing I would like more information about is how to avoid copyright issues with playing music on my channel while streaming. I know some streamers do this already and I would like to know their workarounds (especially since listening to certain kinds of music is a big part of my life and personality).

  13. A lot of streamers use Nightbot for music. If Twitch could work with them so that music is overlaid over streams only while they're live, but not saved, that could fix the problem with copyrighted music causing VODs to be muted. We could also export to YouTube without having to worry about copyright either. I believe this could be easier to implement than multiple audio channels. You would probably want to scan the VODs for copyrighted music anyway, but at least this way it's likely streamers won't have music in their VODs.

  14. If a Vod has been up for 24 hours and the music was never muted in the Vod let me be able to make clips from the Vod and stop deleting clips for non copyright music.

  15. I had my vod muted and after verifying who was the owner and listen to the song, I discovered that he's not the owner at ALL!
That song or part of that song is a mere copy/use of Apple Loops music and samples free to use even for commercial use or broadcasting by Apple Inc. That package of DVD song/sound/sample is part of the Apple product "Final Cut Studio" that I OWN! So I have the license to use it in Twitch or any other broadcasting use.

Now the problem is the external company that ask Twitch to mute! Those…

  17. Please accept questions about DMCA. there's stuff the DMCA-Info page doesn't cover and can't be answered because there'S no way to ask.

At the moment if you choose "DMCA" as category you get instantly forwarded to the Info page about creating and responding to DMCA-Claims but there'S no way to ask things about DMCA.

  18. Muted Auto be shouldn't be Muted when exported or downloaded! It is at our risk to upload that somewhere else! It is already muting my commentary and dialogue too, and most of the time in game music has other dialogue and sound effects going to so there will almost never be clear music for anyone to get copy of!

  19. For Musical Content Copyright Disclaimer there’s a law in the UK called Fair Use under section 107 Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship and research.
Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statue 5 might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favour of fair use. Therefore my videos are for entertainment purposes only.
They demonstrate my skills as a disc jockey and all audio was purchased legally..
