Combine twitch with spotify! One of the most enjoyable parts of a stream is the music we listen to while watching the stream. While watching Twitch streams, I was able to meet many singers and musicians, small and big, who became my favorite singers, and I listen to them every day on streaming services. But now, because of the DMCA law, I can no longer enjoy watching the streams as before, and the singers themselves can no longer take the opportunity to become famous. Twitch is officially a free ad for them. I have an idea about this that will make me happy if…

"Click Here to Buy This Song" over steam muting. I get it...RIAA is aggressive. However, if ContentID can automatically tag and flag a song by whistling the notes, then I would suggest posting a link automatically to "Purchase this song now on iTUNES, Google Play, Amazon, or listen now on Spotify" over muting a stream.
But I know you don't argue with lawyers, you just do it or get sued with them.

Add feature to dashboard for DMCA Correct me if I'm wrong but cant you just force users to input the song they are listening to on the dashboard (if in twitch music database) this could be aided by a 3rd party application
then have twitch pay the appropriate music producers on a viewer basis (based on percentage to twitch percentage to label) (this could also be brokered if they wanted a top tier musician)
Music producers could run websites like tunecore to distribute their music on the platform
I don't believe all music on twitch must be royalty free
another idea i had is to make…

Blanket Licence The blanket license has long been recognized as the most efficient and convenient way of clearing copyrights in the United States. It would be time consuming and expensive for you to locate, contact and negotiate with all copyright holders prior to the performance of each song you plan to play.
The U.S. Supreme Court summarized the virtues of the blanket license in CBS v. Broadcast Music, Inc., 441 U.S. 1 (1979) as follows:
"... the blanket license developed ... out of the practical situation in the marketplace: thousands of users, thousands of copyright owners and millions of compositions. Most users…

Use MRI like Tik Tok does “ Finally I would like MRI explain to its songwriters and publishers, why it is helping TikTok intimidate songwriters and publishers into NOT filing a DMCA notice. It’s right on the TikTok website. TikTok basically says they will doxx songwriters and publishers if you file a copyright complaint. And where will they get those complaints? From MRI.”

You need to allow a text box for a description of why you believe this issue to be a false positive You need to implement a faster, more direct way which also allows for a better detailed description from the accused user as your drop down box doesnt cut it. Also how do your BOTS not know what tracks ARE royalty free, i am sick and tired of having my audio muted because of this and then never being unmuted. Given the fact i also pay for Premium, to make sure i get better quality tracks that are 100% DMCA approved.

aimless copyright detection is ruining this platform my vods are being silenced for no apparent reason, at such a rate im overwhelmed and have no interest in appealing each false claim. and with all these updated DMCA measures i can only imagine this is getting worse. i have no "idea" to fix this. because twitch is obviously protecting themselves and theyre in no way incentivized to protect me, nor make this easy for me. so im left to grind out a number of random appeals a week or just stop using the platform.

How about Twitch buys the license to allow any type of music to play on and off stream. Since Amazon, the owner of Twitch is wealthy, why not use said wealth on buying licenses to use music on stream and on VODs as well.

Separate Music from Live Stream Create an extension that will allow a streamer to connect to their music source (Spotify, Amazon Music, etc.) and have it as a separate audio stream from their live stream audio (voice/game audio). This would allow content creators and Twitch to simply mute or delete the music stream from VOD's that have DMCA related issues, while allowing the streamer's content to remain available.

You guys can ban creators but you can't protect them from DMCA? This makes 0 sense. You have no problem banning people for inappropriate content or things you disagree with, yet when DMCA comes down on you, it's up to us as content creators to protect ourselves?
You don't get to regulate a platform, and then things get tough, decide you don't want the responsibility anymore. Either ban content AND protect creators yourselves from the DMCA strikes, or do neither. Doing both shows you're just a bunch of greedy pieces of crap who really don't care about your creators. I know your a company and your main thing is to make money…

Allow editors to assist the streamer with DMCA/Copyright counter claims The editor of a channel should get the ability (or be given the ability at the approval of the streamer) to review and submit counter claims on muted audio and claimed clips/VODs. This would allow the editor to be able to provide additional editing support of VODs and clips.

Figure out something for Rhythm Game streamers. The Rhythm Game community is HUGE, but even with all the money you make you aren't trying to get any licensing from anyone to keep your content creators safe? All these streams are either being forced to delete all VODs, making their page empty, which effects their growth. OR they are leaving the platform all together. Other games streams are easy to mute and play other music. You literally can't do that with Rhythm games.

Mandatory Review Time for DMCA Proposal: All DMCA strike appeals within 30 days, or another concrete time period. Twitch must have an avenue for creators to submit proof of license for copyrighted music, which should also have a mandatory maximum 30 days review period. Note: This should be accompanied by an additional 'bad actor' appeal option.
An example from my experience: I'm sure I'm not the only one in this boat, but I have purchased lifetime stream rights to broadcast a song made by a small creator. I have provided twitch with that information. I have appealed every muted audio...for months. I even received a…

Lighten up the copyright stuff If I pay to watch vods, then I want to be able to hear the audio. Please lighten up this ridiculous copyright stuff. It is honestly totally absurd.

Stop people from streaming copyright protected movies in the game category "The Movies" People use the game category "The movies" which is for the game with the same name as a platform to stream copyright protected movies. It's just a matter of time until someone will notice it.
People stream there Deadpool movies, The whole Indiana Jones saga and Twitch didnt even notice until now and its going on for months now.
Please stop these people and make clear that category is not for streaming movies but for a game called "The movies"

Original License Games Only Modded and hacked games should be banned. Original license games should be shown only Twitch. So the viewers won't be confused.

Modding Hackers hacking into the original game and making a new modded game. Like Among Us. Streamers should stream less than two hours and get additional pay cut for showing new game. Because of the original game makers wont recieve the payment. Plus all donations or paypal should be turn off. For additional copyrights reasons. If the streamer streams more than three modded games instead of the original. The streamer should be temporarliy banned and not payed for the remaining days of being ban.
