Games + Demos Category Cover Art Submission The popular category 'Games + Demo's' currently has missing cover art.
I reached out to the IGDB team and they said "As these specific categories are directly handled by Twitch and generally handled internally, it would best be submitted to their UserVoice" with that being said, I would like to submit a piece of Cover Art for approval for the category.
As I can't attach a photo, here are my two submissions (I prefer option 2):

Changing the "Music" generic cover + Add DAWs categories (Logic Pro X, Fl Studio, Ableton…) Hi,
I'm using Twitch for music production live mostly so I use the "Music" category all the time and as a primary category now it's a bit bland so I'm submitting a cover art for the "Music" category :
https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_original/co8gws.png
Also, I've tried to make a new IGDB page for "Logic Pro X" program as a game. Music is an art but also some kind of ludic hobby for most people so imo it could be defined as a sandbox text game don't you think ?
https://www.igdb.com/games/logic-pro-x#about
If not I'm also submitting the creation of "Software" category where Logic Pro…

Allow people to become moderators of edits and contributions. I have several pending edits and contributions from two weeks ago, and I’ve read on Reddit that it’s because Twitch has laid off quite a few people from IGDB, which is why they’re swamped with work.

Public pipeline of "Approvals" From what I understand and experienced getting your changes approved on IGDB can take anywhere between 4 to 14 days, not longer. It would be good if there was a page that showed a list of changes currently waiting for approval from IGDB Admin so you could see where your changes were in the pipeline. I saw on the Discord that an announcement said that a week ago or so the oldest changes to be approved were about 14 days old. Keeping this list in public gives us an estimate on when our edits will be reviewed.

Please Change The Base Platform Logo Image for the "Nintendo 64 (Platform)" to match it's own base platfrom logo image Hi,
On the platforms page "https://www.igdb.com/platforms" and when querying the API for the base platform, the platform logo for the base "Nintendo 64 (Platform)" is currently by default the iQue image "https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_cover_small/pl78.png" Shouldn't this image actually be the base platform image i.e. the N64 image "https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_logo_med/pl77.png" the same image that is displayed when visiting that platforms main platform web page "https://www.igdb.com/platforms/n64"?In summary please can we change the base N64 platform image in the following areas:
API - Platforms
Platforms Web Page - https://www.igdb.com/platforms
from:
https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_logo_med/pl78.png (i.e. pl78.png)
To:

Stop treating volunteers as though they're an annoyance when they submit content One of the things that really confuses me about IGDB is that I often have interactions with IGDB admins that make me wonder if they know Twitch isn't paying me to work for IGDB.
IGDB admins have repeatedly been very snappy with me when I make several contributions to the database, and have gone out of their way to make it obvious how annoyed they are with me. So let me spell it out louder for the people in the back,
You are the ones who are being paid. I'm taking my free time to submit information to make this…

Fashion Theme Probably just had to edit too many Dress-up mobile games, but in all honesty "Romance" doesn't really feel too accurate of a description. Fashion could be a useful Theme for these types of titles and others.

Merging multiple Pending Edits of the same entry into a single post in "Your Changes" In "Your Changes/Contributions", if you have re-edited the same entry multiple times, be it for corrections or to add additional data prior to Approval, you will see multiple posts for the same entry. This can overload the page with alot of duplicates that don't really change points from each or vary the points awards after Approval.
It would probably be more appropriate if these duplicates were just merged into a single entry.

Incorrect Game Cover Aspect Ratio listing in Karma Hunters As I make changes to entries on existing titles in the database, the Karma Hunters Contributions listing focuses on entries that are Missing Covers or box art entirely. This omits entries that have been uploaded from Steam that display in 600x900 and do not adhere to the 3:4 ratio that would display in the Twitch category. It would be great to see a global breakdown of those that are in error so they can be addressed by the community.

Crypto There are two suggestions over here, the first one is fixing the Crypto Category, it only has got the coins logos, but the description is completely wrong, which should be fixed.
Second thing is that it would be good if Twitch use Crypto as payment methods, less fees, available in more countries. I believe that the platform will generate larger income.

Fix Master of Orion, so that all 4 games can be found on Twitch Right now on Twitch, if you search for "Master of Orion", which is a 4-games franchise, you can't find the most recent one from 2016, because it shares the same name as the first one.
Can you please fix this? Either call the new one "Master of Orion: Conquer the Stars", or add a (2016) at the end. Or rename the first one "Master of Orion I".
That would fix it. Otherwise, can't find the most recent one.
Thanks.

Update "The Wizard of Oz" (1985) category description The description for the Windham Classics "Wizard of Oz" C64 game from 1985 is wrong and is actually for the 1994 SNES game of the same name. It should say...
"Based on the famous novel by L. Frank Baum, the Wizard of Oz places the player in the role of Dorothy Gale, who is transported by a cyclone to the magical world of Oz. Accompanied by her dog Toto, a Scarecrow, a Tin Woodman, and a Lion, she tries to find her way to the Emerald City, where she hopes the Wizard of Oz can help her find a way…

Suggestion | Change logo? Wikis moving away from Wikia So at the moment Wikia/Fandom is taking a lot of bad coverage due to being a toxic platform, housing a ton of ads, introducing AI and converting the website more into a social media hub than a wiki. With this, wikis are moving away from the platform either to start there own domains (like https://minecraft.wiki/) or switching to Wiki.gg as a web-hosting platform.
Would it be possible to change the Wikia logo to a generalized wiki logo instead?
2 votesHello!
Thank you for raising this, we've been discussing with our community on Discord as well that have raised similar concerns.
We're looking at expanding our coverage of wiki beyond specifically wikia or fandom.
We're currently researching to update our guidelines, and changes on the site (logos, wording) will be reflected accordingly.
Thanks!

Stop Classifying PS Classics Games on PS4 & PS5 as Duplicate "Port" Entries Why are some of the PS1, PS2, & PSP Classics titles being released on the PS4 & PS5 being given duplicate entries and being called "ports"? These games are not ports, they are the same exact game released on PS1, PS2, & PSP playable on PS4 & PS5 entirely through emulation. There is a layer outside of the game that allows the unlocking of trophies and save states, however the game itself is completely unmodified, anything extra is all being done through the consoles emulation layer.
Examples of this are Twisted Metal, Syphon Filter, The Legend of Dragoon, and many…

Add Platform: Net Yaroze Net Yaroze should be added as platform distinct from Playstation, there's enough games to justify for it this.

Use the IGDB’s naming convention of Splatterhouse (2010) and Splatterhouse (1988) to ensure the content classification system works properly There are two video games named Splatterhouse. One of them is a 3D M-rated video game that was released in 2010 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The second is a 2D T-rated video game that was released in 1988 in arcades and consoles such as the TurboGrafx-16.
To keep them distinct, the IGDB labels the M-rated video game “Splatterhouse (2010)” and the T-rated video game “Splatterhouse (1988)”.
But in Twitch, both video games are listed as “Splatterhouse”. As a result, when a streamer chooses the game “Splatterhouse”, Twitch automatically assumes the streamer is playing both Splatterhouse (2010) and…

Allow users to contest changes after they have been discarded Please allow us to comment on changes after they have been discarded. There is no way to know whether there is a need to argue your case in the first place since the admins' willingness to accept new games wildly varies. It takes a lot of time to add them and sometimes they get discarded despite having a valid reason to exist. For instance, I recently added all three 16-bit remakes of Mega Man 1-3 included in Mega Man: The Wily Wars, all fo which have been rejected with the reasoning "they are already catalogued in the bundle". However, there…

Keeping the game category consistent The Binding of Isaac: Repentance has 2 same categories of itself for some reason, whilst being the same thing.
It should only be 1 category imo to prevent confusion

Allow DLCs, Expansions, Packs/Addons, Updates, Seasons, and Mods to be applied to multiple games Some games share additional content such as DLC, Expansions, Packs/Addons, Updates, Seasons, and Mods with ports of their game or sequels. While this would be a limited specific use case it will allow content pages to be shared between titles and limiting duplicates.
A great example is Minecraft. The latest update for Minecraft, the 1.19 Wild Update appears twice on IGDB. Once for the original Minecraft: Java Edition and another for the port Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. These two pages contain the same content and there isn't much of a reason for it to be separate.
Java: https://www.igdb.com/games/minecraft-the-wild-update
Bedrock: https://www.igdb.com/games/minecraft-the-wild-update--1Another…
