Option to show list descriptions publicly
I'd like to make a list of some games, and describe why I added them to the list, and share that information with friends. Right now, I can add descriptions and share the list, but for some reason it hides the descriptions when someone else views the page.

Add a user notes section
It's sometimes useful to note things down for private use (like why you added a game to the wishlist), that wouldn't fit into the review section.
This could be either in list view or game view.

Owned Games List
An option to add owned games and when you add a bundle their games are added to the list of owned games. Games should have a subcategory in the list preview for DLC's and extras, not a game entity. This would make a list readable for the user.

Go back to the old sorting system in custom lists
Why have you changed the way you sort games in custom lists?
I have several lists with 200-400 games and sorting out new additions now is a nightmare.
I'm sorry but among the many things that need to be improved you have made one worse...4 votesHey!
Sorry for the delayed reply, but a few months ago we did a compromise by adding much needed quality of life improvements which hopefully helps these issues.
- ability to send each game straight to top, or bottom
- floating nav bar
- several warnings for duplicates, deleted entries etc..
Would love some feedback again if you think a return to the previous version is still needed.
Thank you!

List filtering
Adding filter options to lists would be great. For example, if I want to filter a list to check only a specific genre, series or franchise, for example.

Hey!
Yes good suggestion! We do have plans for revisiting our Lust feature, including the default lists. We can definitely take this in consideration once we return to this. Thanks!

Rated List Pagination is Broken
Pages 1, 2, and 3 of rated games, sorted by rating, does not show all of the games. Games of the same rating seem to be mixed up, and not using a second sorting column like game name to determine which should show on subsequent pages. This may be broken in the API as well, but I have not confirmed.

I created list called playing and set it to private. Turns out this was reserved name for special list.
Well now my playing list is private and I can't change it.

Custom User Lists synchronized over Desktop, Mobile and App
Currently, custom lists seem to only show up on Desktop and fail to be listed on the mobile versions.
Is that something you can fix/add?3 votes -
Bigger font of ratings in "Rated" list
Currently, there are ratings displayed in "Rated" list (https://www.igdb.com/users/<username>/lists/rated). However, they are written in too small font. Originally I wanted to suggest to display ratings, because I didn't notice them at all. The main thing someone would go to this list is to see what ratings user gave to certain games. So, it would be better if those ratings were displayed in bigger font and maybe not in grey color.

Hey! yes that’s a good point. The automated lists (Want/Playing/Played/Rated/Reviewed) are all very old and in need of a big revamp.
Displaying the rating with our star rating for example would be indeed better suited than a grey number. While Lists feature upgrade is definitely something we want to do, it’s not currently in our short term roadmap unfortunately. We’ll keep the community in the loop as soon as we tackle that!
Thanks!

Add way to send link to the list with specific sorting
I want to send link to my Rated list, so that my friends would be able to see what games I like the most. It would be handy if it would be possible to send the link to the list, where everything is sorted from highest score to the lowest score. Currently, when I send the link, games are sorted by the date I rated them, no matter how I sort before copying the link

Add "Waiting" list
An automatically updated activity list specifically for games which have not been released yet. Once released games are automatically transferred to the "Want to Play" list.

BUG: Adding fresh comment in custom list doesn't display right away
When adding a comment to a game in a custom list – and that's all you do when editing the list – and then save the list, the comment will not be displayed until the list gets a game added/removed.
EDIT: Needs more testing to pinpoint if it is consistent or just a cache coincidence.
