Follower Emotes after a set amount of time!
It would be cool if you could set a specific amount of time you have to have been followed in order to receive the follower emotes.
Similar to i.e. 10 minute followers only chat, the streamer could be given the option to set a time frame for how long someone has to have been followed to get the emotes! Even better so if you can decide it emote specifically
I think that could incentivize coming back to the channel and adds another reward to community members based on their time in the if the streamer so choses.
If the streamer wanted to, they could give an emote to people who just followed, an emote for 1 month of being a follower, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and a year.
Or an emote for 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1h, 2h, 1 day and so on.
I'd be down for this idea - it stops people from following just to get the emotes and not engaging again/being a 1 time follow, whereas if engagement was a part of this/how long a user has watched a stream for, it may encourage them to stick around for longer and it also incentivises rewards for those who support the channel outside of giving money. I feel like 1 upon follow, then 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and a year would be good to give out on a long term basis, or 1 upon follow, 12hrs of watch time, 72hrs of watch time etc
I think building loyalty in support would be more like following 2-months, 4-months, 8-months, and finally 12-months would unlock the 2nd-5th slots.
yeah, I’m all for this! If you get five free emotes just upon following, there’s nothing incentivizing anyone to subscribe. So, I think the followers do have to do some more work for the emotes. Upon following, they can access one emote. After an hour of watching, they can get another. If they come back to a second stream, they can unlock the third emote. Perhaps have something where if they are a chatter, they can unlock another one. Then maybe after like a month, or maybe even a year, of following, they can get the fifth emote. I think this would help affiliates more than partners get viewers that are active.
