Think the framework is already being laid for this feature to become a reality, with the Emote Library.

Say, it could become a thing where Library is accessible through the top-right drop-down menu, the first tab being "Acquired" (viewer) and the second tab "Created" (broadcaster). You can see where this is going: yes, the ability to disable entire channels' emoji sets from appearing in your chat emoji list.

Perhaps even with additional feature "personally selecting x amount of specific emoji to Favorites" (so those will appear in the upper section for easy access).

Please make this happen! It's so triggering to see emotes from someone I have blocked, and they are blocked for a reason. We can prevent getting gifted subs by toggling to the "following only" option, and we should be able to do that with bit emotes as well!

I also have the issue of having a really negative experience with a couple of streamers and, especially as a person with anxiety, I really don't want to see their emotes anymore. I have some it ones that won't go away and I really want them gone so I don't have that constant reminder. It won't let me mentally move on.

Bit emotes should absolutely be follower only, so we can use emotes without being reminded of past traumas.
Removing or hiding emotes from autocompleting should also be a thing, so people who got the hypecreep emote don't have to get anxiety every time they want to use a hype emote.

PLEASEEEEE! Bit emotes and etc, they aren't removable! Please allow us this feature twitch :)

Please give us the option to hide/remove bit emotes that we've earned from streamers we have supported in the past, but no longer do. It can be upsetting for the individual to see these emotes.

So, I had a person on Twitch that I used to follow. We had a bad fall out and have no more communication with them. However, when bits first came out, I gave them enough bits to earn the "bit" emotes. Now, I would like to opt out of having them displayed to me. Is there an option to out of bit emotes? I can't imagine I'm the only one who has this issue.

Sometimes things go wrong and you want to block a streamer. It's unpleasant then to continue to see their emotes you'd earned (bit emotes, etc) in your emote picker for all eternity. Please allow for a way to block emotes from the emote picker.

Yes, and make it global in every app - especially the Fire TV App.
Or let me set favorite emotes but better let me disable certain emotes.

Same, there need to be a solution for this. Twitch Support can‘t disable or delete them

This should be a thing so to protect so many of the people on twitch especially if they are a victim of ****** harassment or bullying

I would really like this enabled as I have bit emotes from streamers that I do not engage with or support anymore and I would like those removed from my emote menu. Please make it an option to toggle on/off on a per streamer basis, like how the notifications menu is in the Settings, as there are still many bit emotes from streamers that I do like to use! Thank you!

I have a bit emote from someone I don't associate w/ anymore and every time I see it I get so many bad memories

I've wanted this for ages. If I have someone blocked, I do not want these emotes appearing anywhere for me. It's awful having to be reminded of terrible people every time you go to use an emote.

PLEASE add this so I can cut off any association with those who turn out to be toxic people

I would like to follow up to this. I was sexually assaulted during Twithcon at an Airbnb I was sharing with another twitch partner. He recently uploaded bit emotes. I am begging you, please make bit emotes followers only 😞

Yes, Twitch, please. I second the notion here - been spending bits on someone I used to watch, unlocked emotes, now I got them forever in my emote menu and I want them gone as they just remind me of something/one I'm not keen on at all anymore.

As others have said there are many emotes I'll never be using. Trying to go through a list half full of unwanted event emotes is especially arduous on mobile or when watching on my console.

I will literally take any option to remove emotes I never wanted and will never use from my selection. Also, the "frequently used" box shouldn't contain emotes I've never used - that literally doesn't make sense.

Having a streamers bit emotes is great, until you don't support them anymore. It happens all the time, people stop supporting streamers they once adored.

I would like the ability to hide or remove unlocked bit emotes from the emote bar.
It really sucks having to see the icon and emotes of a streamer you no longer support- it can bring up painful memories and make you not even want to be on twitch.
And with the new sidebar on the emote box, it's even more difficult to avoid seeing.

I would just like to be able to remove these unwanted emotes.
