How it works:
  • Choose a relevant category for your idea and check to see if any other users have already submitted this suggestion before creating your own
  • Be clear with your suggestion, provide examples and solutions to the problem you are posing. Suggestions without actionable feedback may be closed without comment
  • Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests
  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information.
  • Titles that are unclear or unnecessarily vulgar may be reworded to better reflect the request for ease of discovery

If you need help:

Appeals or commentary on suspension decisions, support requests, suggestions disparaging others, and non-constructive feedback will be closed without comment.

  1. When the same is used many times, the ones on the line below overlap with the line above. That ruins the art of a lot of them, for example a "NO YOU" emote becomes a line of "NO"s because the ones in the line before overlap. Why not let the art appear in its entirety as submitted?

  2. An easy way for streamers to add a set badge to Trusted chatters so its easier for them and chat to sort through the trash. And might promote less garbage.

  3. Hi,

So I had this idea of having a feature where ANY people can request ANY emote to be added to twitch like FFZ or BTTV, and Twitch mods could approve or deny them, but here's the catch. To add an emote you need to pay let's say 0.20$ and if it gets approved for people who stream or if you wanna add it to your own channel you need to pay 0.05$. 0.03$ goes to the emote creator if somebody buys the emote and 0.02$ to twitch.

ez money if u ask me.

also partners should have it cheaper…

  4. If we are in the top 3 subs of a stream, we should have a badge with the trophie to show that we are on the top.

  5. My idea is that there could be a chat setting(user-, not streamerside) where you can filter out different Emotes that could trigger you. For example im arachnophobic (have a fear of spiders, if Pics, Vids or in rl, those things creep me out and when i did a hypetrain and saw that spider it send shivers down my spine.
I also have heard from some people i know they are Coulrophobic (Fear of clowns) which theres luckily no emote thats this way.

But in situations that a emote triggers a phobia I'd like to have something, if its a Checkbox…

  6. Twitch has now added quite a number of pride emotes, including adding exclusive new ones for pride month. However, there is a lack of representation for demigender people, with no emotes for the demigender, demiboy, and demigirl flags. For those who identify this way, there is currently no representation through Twitch's pride emotes.

  8. For example, setting it to type so that <3 becomes Mariatlove, or LUL becomes pumpka1SwabLUL etc.

This can sort of be achieved using browser plugins, or phone text replacements, but they're inconsistent, and not cross-platform.

If the user is no longer subscribed to the channel of an emote, it would default back to whatever it was before, until such a time as they re-subscribe

  9. Que los afiliados tengan más casillas para sus emotes ya que a pesar de ser afiliados a Twitch, la cantidad actual de casillas restringe la creatividad de los creadores. Una buena cantidad serían 7 casillas de inicio para la suscripción de nivel 1

  10. It would be cool if there were some way to unlock emotes from past events (maybe with a moratorium period of half a year or something). Heck, I'd pay a buck-per to get some of the RPG emotes that everyone seems to have or to fill out my incomplete collection of pride emotes.

  11. Give streamers the ability to unlock additional channel emote slots for having an account in good standing for something like 90 days.

Incentives do wonders for changing habits and creating new routines.

  12. Currently the sets of emotes in the menu are locked into a specific order, which means you'll often need to waste time scrolling past emotes you'll never use in order to reach the ones you're looking for. The lists also aren't consistent across platforms; for example, my subscription emotes are directly below my recents on the desktop site, but are sandwiched between two sets of permanently unlocked emotes in the iOS and Android apps. (The ability to manually remove these permanent emotes from your account would also be nice.)

With the introduction of channel points and the ability to exchange…

  14. A badge that shows who are the most active chatters of all time in your stream will be awesome. As chatters are so important to streamers, streamers really appreciate chatters. So there should be a badge that shows the top 10 most active chatters of all time. As this will highlight the people that are always engaging with the streamer and putting their time into your streams.

  15. Hi there,

Despite Twitch being all about the content that is created and streamed, I believe emotes serve a very important role in both communication and representation on other streams without being pure advertising, it's subtle but can really help a streamer grow.

This means that viewers can sometimes arrive from the emotes alone, and may not enjoy the content, and so the streamer and viewer will both miss out, the viewer doesn't want to pay a full subscription for the emotes alone, and the streamer will miss out on the revenue from a potential purchase.

    I propose a middle…

  16. Os emotes sao uma grande ajuda para chamar a atençao de novos interessados, penso que seria bom um recem afiliado poder colocar pelo menos 3 emotes por escalao. Porque no inicio é que precisamos de ajuda para progredir. bom trabalho!

  19. I'm not sure the best way to implement an idea like this but it would be fun to have an updated stat sheet with emoji popularity among all twitch streams and people could use either bits or channel points to bet on an emojis rise or fall in popularity. It would be fun to see how old emojis hold up to newer ones and it would provide a platform for art makers to gain popularity for their work. Plus quite a bit of fun for viewers as well as educational

  20. Let us see the stats of our emotes to know which ones are used the most and used the least, so if we want to change them or ad new we can keep the most used by our community and change the less popular for new ones to try.
