Mature Lock for Emotes We have a tendency to see emotes be deleted as they might be deemed sexually suggestive.
If possible can we add a Mature Lock or Mature Wall for Emotes and that way those emotes can be unlocked by age verification (18+) .

Gifted Sub Emote Slots I think that it would be fun idea to give affiliates and partners the option to include gift sub emotes! It would be similar to bit emotes but after a certain amount of gift subs are given that gifter unlocks a new emote for that channel.

Stream Team Emotes Each stream team can have 5 emotes and each one is unlocked by being a sub to a member of the team. Each new sub to a team member unlocks another emote. Collect all 5 and you unlock a 6th.
For example, if a creator joins a team that has a nice (animated?) raid emote, they can then move their raid emote out of a more prominent spot.

Copesen Please unban the Copesen emote. It's an oxygen tank labelled "copium" which is an imaginary drug, making fun of forsen. Forsen likes to "cope" when he makes mistakes in the minecraft game by saying funny things like "unluckly", or "it's the game's fault". Copium is metaphor, a phyical representation of Forsen's own unwillingness to accept his mistakes. In other words, it's a self-deprecating joke.
It's probably the most popular emote in his chat these days, it's really quite funny. I think it's a bit silly to remove it due to "drugs/drug paraphernalia", because 1) it's not a real drug, it's…

Oversized double line emotes for Tier 3 subs Similar to stickers used in many other apps, it would be fun to be able to incentivize Tier 3 subs by offering a unique emote that could be oversized. Many partners do this already by using 1 emote cut into 4 slots, adding this as a special bonus would be fun and help to drive higher tier support.

Getting emotes for watching a stream. Give the viewer a bonus for sticking to a stream from start to finish. Reward them for watching the entire stream, even if they are lurking. This not only helps the viewer get emotes, it really helps affiliates like me who are basically stuck forever and never reaching partnership on twitch.

Allow creators to add context tags to their emotes Right now, we can only search for emotes by name, but so many emotes have nonsensical names that make them hard to find. For example, if I wanted to search for the FrankerZ emote but didn't know the name, and all I knew is that it was a dog emote, I would never find it. If that emote had "dog" as an additional context tag, however, I could discover it by searching for "dog". If creators could add searchable context tags to their emotes, it would be a lot easier to find them with a quick search.

Emote loadouts Emote loadouts would be good so streamers ( especially ones who don't have a lot of slots ) who play different games can theme their emotes to match each game. They just change their loadout when they change the game. Also, for viewers, I'd like to be able to hide emotes in the library that I don't use a lot, like the hype train type ones etc.

Be able to choose what part of your username you want as prefix I know custom prefixes are only avaliable for partners and I respect that, but autogenerated names for prefixes trend to be so wrong, so I suggest to be able to select what part of your username you want as emote prefix, for example:
If your username is "JustAnnie" your emote prefix may be "Just444" or even worse.
Everytime you change your username or the first time you receive the affiliate Twitch should allow you to select in a text selector what part of your username you want to use as your name and let you to set an autogenerated prefix…4 votes -
Can we get animated emotes added to tier 2 and 3 I wish I could do animated emotes for tier 2 and 3.

Founder Emotes Hey everyone!
We have follower emotes, hype emotes, bit emotes. Why not a special emote slot for people who have been supporting you since the beginning. Give them something very special.
So 10 for Affiliates, and 25 for Partner.
And it'd be 1 emote for Affiliate and maybe 2-3 for partner?

Rewarding tier 2 subscribers I have a sustained 5 tier 2 subscribers for a decent period - I would like to reward them with a personalised emote for subbing at that tier - however if I then gain 6 tier 2 subscribers I would have an issue that the slots don't encourage a further subscriber. Could we have additional emote slots added per person that subscribes at that tier?
Eg: I get 9 tier 2 subbers I would get 10 tier 2 emote slots (to encourage a further subscriber each time) and so on - 20 Tier 2 subbers gets 21 slots etc.
Personally…

get bttv on ios I think this would be a good idea! I have seen recently the animated emotes have been added to iOS which is amazing. getting the bttv would help even more as loads of people don’t have computer/pc so having it on there phone helps interact with the rest of chat..

Emotes Use in Stream Title and Go Live Notifications I think using emoji in stream titles is a great way of standing out, and would love to take that a step further and show off my channel's emotes within my stream title and go live notification. Thanks!

Eliminate instant upload eligibility This entire concept is detrimental to new affiliates. What's the point of NOT having follower emotes when you have only followers?!?

API for renaming an emote (not emote prefix) Would like to be able to send an (authorized) API request to rename one emote to another, for example swapping an "angel/halo" emote with a "devil/horns" emote, or mixing up (or unmixing) all emotes for a redemption so that anyone typing an emote gets something random. Would be a fun way to interact with chat but there is no way to do it without manually deleting/reuploading the emotes in question, or renaming them to temporary names, swapping, etc... all by hand. Not very spontaneous/fun/interactive.

Let Moderators use emotes. This would mean that bots such as Streamlabs and Moobot won’t have to be gifted subs to use emotes. This would mean that bots such as Streamlabs and Moobot won’t have to be gifted subs to use emotes.

Artist Credit, More Info, and Animated Gifs For Emotes When hovering over an emote in chat I would love to see listed information for the artist it was created by and their social media/ contact info.
For that info to be easily clicked on to open new tabs to their Twitch channel and to their art social media/ contact info. Also showing the emote at the largest size to see the emote's art more clearly, the emote's name, and the streamer's channel that it is uploaded to with that being clickable opening a new tab there.
I feel that emotes are a large part of Twitch and it's difficult…
85 votesHey all! Happy to announce that we have launched the Artist Badge and Emote Attribution feature. This will accredit emote artists through emotes in chat, as well as a chat badge the creator can assign to their emote artist.
You can learn more about this feature as well as leave us suggestions here: https://link.twitch.tv/UVAttribution
Thank you for your continued feedback!

Create an option to take away Tier 2 and 3 subs to add two more emotes to Tier 1 subs Just as it says in the title, I think creators would love to have the option to take away Tier 2 and 3 subs to add two more emotes to Tier 1 subs. In my case, I’ve maybe had someone tier 2/3 to me 2-3 times each over the course of my 3 years of being an Affiliate. It’s only usually just once out of the blue, never continuous.
For my stream, I would rather add two more emotes to my first tier, totaling it to a maximum of 7 instead of 5 (for Affiliates) than have a tier 2…

Larger emote display size when only emotes are used in a chat message (like Discord) Emotes are a key part of twitch, to the point that you can often convey more with just a certain emote than with a message.
Many people would love to see emotes displayed in the maximum size in chat.
I'm guessing there are probably some limitations in in-line emote display tied to text pixels or something (either for practical reasons or esthetic reasons)...
...but some platforms have a solution for this, and I'm hoping it can be implemented on twitch. In Discord, in-line emotes are displayed small, similar to Twitch, however, when ONLY emotes are used, they are displayed at…
