Managing bit emotes & emotes from banned channels With the plethora of streamer and Twitch emotes out there, it makes sense that you as a user can have more control over which you can see & use. It could be that you still own bit emotes from streamers you've moved on from a while ago, as well as ones you no longer want to be associated with. These will always stay in your emote drop down menu.
On top of that, when a person who has their own emotes gets banned in your channel, it should be that their emotes are also banned from use on your Twitch…

Restructure Bit Emotes to Incorporate Gift Subs, Self-Subs, Charity Several people have already suggested adding a new category of emote slots for viewers who gift subscriptions or for viewers who have long subscription totals or streaks.
Instead, I propose reworking (and likely renaming) Bit Emotes to allow viewers to progress toward them with the value from gift subs, self-subs, and donations through the charity tool. With the current iteration of Bit Emotes, most channels will never unlock the majority of the slots, because the thresholds are scaled with the platform's largest channels in mind. It's not unheard of for a smaller channel to unlock a lot of slots because…

Allow us to have VIP only emotes. I think it could be cool, if there were some emotes that could only be used by vips. It would bring more reward to being recognised as a VIP in a channel.

creator emotes I think it's a bit of a shame that the "Artist" role has no other use except as a badge. Especially since the artists then also have to subscribe - and pay - themselves to ultimately be able to use the emotes that they themselves have created for the streamer.
So my girlfriend, who makes my emotes for me, still has to pay to be allowed to use these "own" emotes in the chat.
I would like it if the artists would get a special position and get access to their own emotes without a subscription. You could tie this…

All streamers should have "modified" versions of their own emotes unlocked automatically If I want to use a modified version of one of my own emotes (grayscale, squished, sunglasses, etc), I have to go to my own channel page, spend some of my infinity channel points on it, and then it's unlocked for me for the next 24 hours. Why? Can I just have an option to make all modified versions of my own emotes appear in the emote picker without having to "buy" them?

Stop removing beloved emotes (because you incorrectly deem them inappropriate) Please stop this ridiculous assault on emotes. A simple emote of an animated character shaking their bum is not sexual in nature. It's just a bit of fun, and especially considering the other things Twitch allows on it's platform one simply can't fathom why an emote of a make believe video game character shaking their bum would be offensive. One simply has to spend 5 seconds browing the ASMR or hot tub categories to see content that is blatantly sexual and yet Twitch seems to take no issue with it whatsoever.
Please explain to me why an emote of Tingle,…

More emotes for affiliates I think even more emote slots AND animate emote slots for affiliates would be amazing. The imbalance between partner and affiliate makes growth so much harder for affiliates. Also specifically allow affiliates to have more emotes and tier 2 and 3. These tiers are virtually unappealing to the majority of viewers, I think more emote slots and even a couple tier 2 and 3 animated emotes for affiliates would be great.

An Additional Button for Emotes to get checked out by Twitch it would be nice if i had a button where some specific Emotes can get checked by twitch, even if i had trusted status where i can upload them instantly.
Lost 2 of my Emotes and trusted Status because it doesnt go with the Emote Guidelines and thought an extra button where i can check the emotes if im unclear about it.

Lead Time I really wish we could get more heads-up BEFORE new slots unlock. My emote artist is my spouse, who already has a full time job, so it takes them a while to create. Meanwhile, I look super unprofessional to my viewers having all these empty emote slots. Really hate how you just drop these things on us with almost no lead time!

Instant Upload and Request Approval Option for Emotes Instant upload for emotes is a fantastic thing, but what if those creators who have the ability are also given the option to request approval on a specific emote. When uploading the emote, there can be a dropdown that gives two options - Instant Upload or Request Approval. This would require that their emote is approved by Twitch before it is uploaded, just like normal.
I think this can eliminate any issues that some creators might have with their emotes. If a creator believes that their emote abides by all guidelines but want to make sure, they can request approval…

Increase the minimum emote size I think it would be so nice, if the minimum emote size for emotes would increase from 28, 56, 112px to 32, 64, 128px, for example.
It would increase the quality of the emotes, making detailed emotes more noticeable and it would be easier for emote artist to work on them.

Evolving Emotes I think it would be great for people who go above and beyond with the support with Tier 2 and Tier 3 subscriptions to get more for their sub aside from just 1 additional emote, so I think it would be good to have "Evolving Emotes" So for example say if you had Charmander themed emotes as your tier 1 slot. A Waving Charmander Tier 1 Emote would become a Waving Charmeleon at Tier 2 and a Waving Charizard at Tier 3. If you have a Tier 2 or Tier 3 subscription you could choose which of these 3 would…

Allow Marijuana icons for Emotes in legal states? Living in a legal state for marijuana, you should be allowed to have banners, emotes, etc with marijuana related themes. It's a fun way to connect with your chat, whom will enjoy the art and emotes. It harms nobody. You guys allow people to do drinking/drunk streams which is much worse than smoking by far, and we all know that. ~ On that note. We should allow emotes and things like that to have a marijuana related theme.

Further channel point emote customization This idea comes in 2 parts
Allow creators to manually adjust the position of emote modifiers for their emotes (Ex. Adjusting the sunglasses modifier to overlap with the eyes of a LUL emote)
Allow creators to upload custom modifiers for their emotes that users can select from when redeeming channel points

Money donated for gifting subscription should count toward unlocking emotes If a person donated money to gifting subscriptions to a channel equal to the amount of money needed to cheer bits to unlock emotes. Then the emotes should also unlock. Gifting subs gives twitch and streamer the same percentage of money there is no reason why gifting subs is not also rewarded with the same emotes as bit cheers.

Twitch and Discord emote sync for Bit tier emotes Currently, Twitch subs can utilize their sub emotes on Discord via the integration sync however that feature is not available to Bit Tier Emotes.
Make it so users that unlock the Bit tier emotes to unlock them on discord as well.
Many prefer to utilize and show off Sub emotes on Discord as the emotes display at 32x32p instead of the 28x28p that Twitch uses.61 votes -
Option to free up Tier 1 emotes only on streamer's chat for Mods and VIPs Give an option for the Creator to free up their tier 1 emotes for use only on his/her chat to their mods or mods and vips as a treat for their work/fidelity on watching streams.
Many streamers would like to give their bot (who is usually a mod) to message on chat their emotes. And they may also want to give more benefits to their VIPs as well.
So giving an option for they using the stream's emotes only on the stream's chat for free could be a nice thing to do.

Add Ability To Unlock A Specific Emote Indefinitely Using Channel Rewards Allow viewers with a significant amount of channel points (min. 50k) to unlock a specific emote of the creator's choice indefinitely. This way, the emote can be utilized with consistency in views without having to be paid for. It'll enhance viewing to both the platform and the individual creators, and can be beneficiary to everyone.

Purchase emote slots as a streamer Im an affiliate & its hard to get partnered to get more emote slots. i already have all 12 emotes (affiliate unlocks and bits slots) i would honestly like to have more emotes to unlock that would be really nice since me and my community uses a lot of emotes for expressions. This will not change any benefits compared to partners because we are not using their emotes we are creating our own to represent our channels and express ourselves. So having the ability to purchase emote slots as a streamer will help its a win-win
