1. Have a special badge for streamers to give to clip creators, like the artist badge.

   Have a special badge for streamers to give badges, like the artist badge. I don't want a bunch of junk clips. I would like good quality clips. Picking a good clip is an art, naming them well is even more important. So if I see viewers that are clipping well in my community, I want to be able to reward them well.

3. More Options to Credit Artists

   I was really thrilled when twitch announced the artist badges. I am a artist myself and have some friends who are artists as well. The badges had good intentions but are, in my opinion, improvable.

   1: Since Twitch now has animated emotes many streamer get their already existing emotes animated from other artists then the ones which drew them originally. Or even better, different arists work together as a team. Artist A draws the texures and Artist B animates it. Not all artists are good in any kind of art so sometimes we work together to achieve something great. BUT at the moment only one artist can get credit per emote. In my case some streamer decided to credit me, which in my opinion is unfair for the person who put so much time in illustrating the textures. That made me feel bad cause I know how hard it is as an artist and how much work goes into a great emote. On the other hand, seeing that some streamer decided against me also made me feel bad. It gives the impression that my part of the art, the animation, is not worth as much as the work of the illustrator. This creates unnecessary competition between artists. And I can only speak for my self and my case. I think there are enough other artists and cases which have similar issues! For example: sometimes Artist A only gave the idea for an emote with an sketch and Artist B drew it. Or Artist A drew an Emote in the year 2015 and now Artists B is only modernizing it. It would be great if both artists could get credit for that. So an option to choose more than one artist for the same emote would be great.

   I have the opinion that five Artist badges are not enough. Especially for streamer with an wider audience and therfore more emotes. There are artists for panels, backgrounds, emotes, transitions, Video editing, thumbnails, alerts and many more. If you have more than one person that provides you with all this assets for your stream, at the moment twitch forces you to decide which artist is more important and which art has the most value on your channel. And again: this creates an unnecessary bad mood. For comparison: I currently have about 50 VIP Badges and only use a few of them. And I know that you can get more of them if you grow your channel. Why not using a similar system to get more artist badges? Or an other proposal would be to bind the number on badge to the number of emoteslots you earned. There would be several ways to achieve the same goal: us getting more badges to give proper credit to all of the great artist which make streams look good everyday.

   I hope some other artist are having the same opinion and maybe ideas how to improve the credit feature.

4. Various Moderator Badges

   Moderator speaking here.

   I think it would be a nice thing to have various Moderator/Editor Badges that indicate how long this user has been Moderator for this Channel already, Just like with the Sub Badges.

   If the Badges vary from little changes in the badge itself that are provided from Twitch itself or are customizable by the Channel Owner or even if the Badge stays the same, and it just adapts to the Sub Badge that when you hover your mouse over the badge that it aside from badge indication also displays the duration next to it, like when you hover over a Sub badge.

   Either way, it would just be a nice thing to have. Would be a little effort change that goes a long way, as it would add some Authority display kinda thing that you would usually "show off" with the amount of watch time you have on the Channel.

5. Create a video editor badge

   Since there is a badge for emote artists, I think it would be a good idea to have a badge so a streamer can acknowledge video editors in their chat, from my experience a video editor is more likely to work much closer with the streamer than an emote artist, most emote artists do a commision 1 time and never even come into the streamers chat, so why not give video editors a badge too?

7. UN-GLITCH THE VIP BADGES

   Streamers who are starting up will always end up with 4/5 viewers when wanting to acquire the VIP badges. My suggestion is to fix this bug before it becomes a bigger issue.

8. Provide additional moderator icon options

   As a moderator, I find that commands are slow to type, and when an obscene message is posted, using a command to remove it is not ideal. However, I find that having mod icons enabled is also not ideal, since it takes up too much space in the chat and I do not trust my mouse, which sometimes jumps the cursor around... I'd rather not accidentally ban someone because of that. So my suggestion is to provide an option to have mod icons be available while holding a specific (configurable) key or key combination, such as Alt, Ctrl or Shift, and perhaps make the icons only appear next to a username when you hover over it. This will just help to prevent accidents, and keep the chat tidy, whilst still making moderation easy.

10. rename vip badge meaning

    Replace the vip badge with a streamer/creature badge, many streamers i watch feel the vip puts someone above a viewer where a streamer/creature badge would be a better option.

11. Designer icon

    I like to prefer a Icon/Button like VIP and Subscriber for Chanel Designer , Video Editor.

    So Creative People , can be seen in chats and maybe u can link the Button with a Reference site with work from those people ?

    And maybe there will grow an Network for Designer/Video Editor , which can earn Money with it . Like streamer but as Designer

13. Change VIP Diamond to Heart

    Diamond's are ethically sketchy (see: conflict/blood diamonds).
    I have been given VIP in a few channels and it makes me feel uneasy as I have been boycotting diamonds for about 8 years now.
    Even the option to have diamond or hearts would be wonderful, similar to how you can choose to show Prime or not.
