Twitch Recaps should be added to our Dashboards
A lot of people look forward to seeing their twitch recaps but some people just don't look at their emails, never receive emails from Twitch, or they accidently delete the email. So it would be a good idea to have them somewhere on our dashboards so people can look at them even when emails fail.

You can head over to https://www.twitch.tv/recaps/annual to see Community, Viewer and Streamer recaps depending how you spent time on Twitch in 2022. Its insane how badly they failed this. Only heard about the requirement once I saw other people posting their recaps. They really should've informed people on their OWN site, not Twitter.

This would really help! I unfortunately did not receive mine due to my email settings changing somehow despite me not remembering having touched them. Having them on the dashboard would be great, since i was excited to see mine!

Can't agree enough on this one, this was very poorly communicated by Twitch, these have previously been sent out to everyone, there are a LOT of people who are very angry at not receiving this (including myself) so PLEASE fix this!

amazon is such a huge company i cant believe they arent able to implement it. Im so mad about this, i just cancelled all my subscriptions.

Can't believe this even has to be asked for. What are you even doing Twitch. Why would you NOT tell us we would need to have that option enabled?
Just know you took away a yearly celebration from my community by not sending this. Guess I will find a way to track it without your help....seeming to be more and more of that these days.

If Twitch is to go the email route, we need to be informed ON TWITCH, not on a 3rd-party site, that we have to opt in. I didn't see the tweet until today when looking for why I didn't get my recap.

This could/would also make it easier for streamers to view BOTH their streamer recap and their viewer recap, as many streamers only got one or the other and wanted the one they didn’t get.

they send announcements for everything else via the notifications box in app/on site, why not send recap through it too?

ive been looking forward to the recap all year and now i cant see it because i don't have twitter and had no way of knowing that i needed to turn on this specific notification setting. this is so disappointing :(

Other social networks can show you your recap from within their apps, so that would be an ideal way to do it.
A large number of people didn't receive their Twitch Recap for 2021 due to the fact that it required marketing emails enabled. There was absolutely no warning that disabling marketing email will prevent you from receiving your Recap, and last year Recaps were sent to people regardless of this setting. We at least want to be able to get our recap for 2021 if we didn't get it due to the setting.
