Failed to load module, and endless loading
Whenever I load any page on Twitch, there is a high chance that many page elements won't load, and instead appear as a ghost icon with the text "Failed to load module", or will simply display the spinning circle permanently. The former mostly happens to buttons and menus, while the latter mostly happens to things like the stream video player.
I have to refresh the page upwards of 20 times in order to actually get everything working. It's seriously frustrating, especially when trying to join a stream quickly (e.g. with a raid) or refresh a channel. The situation is made worse by the fact that every page element can fail at random, so when hitting F5 makes two things start working, another one might stop working.
I've inspected what's going on in the browser's developer console while this happens, and it seems that it's related to Twitch's scripts failing to fetch CSS or JS chunks for various parts of the page in a nonstandard manner.
This is in Mozilla Firefox 95.0.2 on Manjaro Linux. None of the other websites I've accessed over the last two years have had such a problem.
(Cross-posting this from Stream Manager Bugs for visibility.)

Same issue here as of 3/28/2024. Never used to have this issue but now I do on a brand new laptop. I get broken images/icons/badges/emotes as well as failed to load module. Only site that gives me a problem. On my own website i have a stream showcase that pulls in streams from Twitch and they too get broken images, so it's definitely something coming from Twitch that doesn't load/work properly.

So it helped with chrome to have
- energy saver turned off,
- standard preloading turned on,
- have twitch always be an active tab.Can find this in settings, (three dots top right) then performance.

Same issues and this seems to be ongoing. Why hasn't there been a fix for this yet?

Having the exact same problem. Started happening to me a week ago. Page not loading at all, or missing elements, or the "failed to load module" prompt. Turned off all all extensions, cleared cache, reinstalled browsers. Still happening. Tried multiple browsers; Chrome, Edge, same issue on both. Not having this issue on any other websites.

Agreed, Happening to me too. Only started happening 2 months ago. Failed to load module on Twitch through chrome. And as of the past couple of weeks it started happening on my Twitch Studio App making it impossible to edit anything without "Failed to load Module" constantly appearing.

Was creating a highlight just now and did all my cuts and timestamps, then when I clicked Publish the entire page failed to load!
Thankfully the highlight was still created, when I went back to the Video producer, but was worried for a minute

This has been consistent for me for like a month. Tried everything. I'm running chrome on windows 11, fully updated. happens A LOT when I try to fullscreen, I just get the ghost and the words "failed to load module" across the center of the screen, even though the screen DOES fullscreen and works fine. Chat also often doesn't load or I have to refresh multiple times to get the video to load. Been such a painful experience lately.

I kinda gave this the "one or two off" treatment but realized it was happening every day for 2 weeks, including today. Where no browser refresh or cache reset has helped. Twitch, be real, you cooked?

Had to refresh 3 times just now to load the ENTIRE Clip Manager module.

@Isabelle_Zelhyr, I noticed that the other night too. Emotes posted from chatters sometimes wouldn't even load at all in Twitch Studio.
What kind of experience is this?

I don't even need to say this continues to be a problem. Over the past few weeks in particular. It's been directly affecting the viewing experience in that things like emotes won't load properly in chat for me as the streamer, else in the preview chat on-screen. As separate sources, they can often require individual refreshes, and even then it's a crapshoot.

Especially bad today, had to reload a page 5 times to get all elements/modules to load. Come on Twitch!

Noticed the Failed to load module errors on various parts of the page over the last few weeks too when watching Streams in browser (Chrome mostly)
Twitch also let go of 35% of their staff recently. Coincidence?

I think I haven't seen this issue for a little while now, so I'm cautiously optimistic. Can anyone else confirm whether they used to experience it but don't any more?

Firefox 95.0.2 and still there. Bumping so this doesn't auto-close.
