implement a feature that allows you to see someone's username history
It's nice that we have the ability to change our usernames without having to create a brand new account. However, it'd be a nice little feature to see what peoples' previous names were.

Shorts and stories on the channel, that could be viewed on the frontpage
Twitch now is just clips and streams + trailer. But wouldn't it be cool if we had shorts and stories? I wish Twitch could add this for more content and less reasons to be on other platforms. Well think about this; shorts and stories on your channel with discoveribility on frontpage from the people that we follow and the people we follow with similar followers. This would be have been soo good!

Theater mode improvement when using vertical-split screen
as of this posting, using theater mode when in a vertical split-screen just wastes screen space. my suggestion is to place chat below the stream instead of keeping it on the right side of the screen. think vertical alignment on mobile but on desktop.

Allow a streamer to SHARE another Streamer to his followers.
Im watching a new streamer and he is really good. Id like to RECOMMEND/SHARE his channel to my followers.
it would increase connectivity by 1000 fold if we had a button that would "Share channel with your follwers" then alll your followers would get a notification. and even if 5% responded that adds up to millions in no time. I can do the coding for you for free. #RobXbalboa

add button "ignore this channel", or "block this channel"
add button "ignore this channel" for hide that in channel suggestion and button "block this channel" for hide channel when you open it for missclick

follower referral system - reward for referrals and views
I scoured the web for a service or bot that can award points if a current follower refers a new follower to my channel. I see these for twitter and other social sites but nothing that can tie in with Twitch. I think this would be a neat way to reward word-of-mouth for current followers of my stream.
It seems possible, like if each follower gets their own unique link they can use to share the stream. Then anyone who clicks that referral link and actually follows the channel gets added to the referring users credit/reward points. Even cooler if…4 votes -

A badge/emote showcase
A badge/emote showcase on your profile for viewers to showcase their earned/favorite badges or emotes. Maybe this could replace the list of channel-specific badges that show up when you click someone's name in chat.

Community
Hello today I want to talk about an idea that came to my mind today, the introduction of a "community" page, what will this community section allow to do? will allow you to write or view your followers through a "comment" that is read if a user goes to the "community" section to avoid the problem that not all followers follow their creators on our social networks, maybe it would be nice even with the addition of leaving reactions, but not a like or a dislike but reactions with the emoij available on twitch.

Opposite to "follow" button
Note: I do not mean "unfollow" button (that lot of users would like to be disabled or have confirmation question). I mean a button that puts a channel to some black list tab like Following / Ignored or Following / Filtered Out tab. And then Twitch would not display those channels on any other list or tab to that user.
Benefit is that lot of channels / streamers are boring or annoying to user. Tastes vary so it does not often correlate with how popular these channels are among other users. Chance to stumble upon such channels again will be…

News feed
Since I've started streaming I've encountered instances when people would follow while I was offline so it made me think, what if twitch created a news feed type of page for channels to have so that they can thank people for following even when they aren't live. Followers are what make a channel so successful and missing out on thanking people for following is annoying to say the least. I feel it's a feature many streamers would benefit from.

Profiles option for different stream setup
As a streamer I stream Music and Video Games. And I do that on two different language to have it more complex.
It would be great, that with a profile selection or so, I could switch very fast between two different streaming setup so far as possible:
- Stream Info (Title, Category, Audience, Tags, Language, etc.)
- Language
- Social links
- Moderation (auto mod, etc.)
- Emotes
- Channel points (rewards & challenges)
- Extensions
- My pages like: About, Panels
- Chat settings like rules

Bypass Blocks
Use bypass links to allow users to perform behaviours like:
- Skip to Chat
- Skip to Content
- Skip to Followed Channels
This isn't particularly well broken out, but the order of the page follows something like a JIRA in that there's a lot to go through.

Add to auto-host button
One handy feature that would help new streamers would be an "add to auto-host list" button. This would allow users to add other channels to their lists without having to copy and paste their name or search them. This way, new streamers looking to build up their list can search for channels that stream similar content and add them without having to navigate back to the setting panel every time.

Have .gif offline screens would be sort of neat, idk. Other thoughts or ideas? Another thread on here suggested having music to be played on the offline screen.

Multi-Layout Options for the About/Panels Section
Hello! I think a neat feature for panels and layout settings could be able to set up a few different layouts.. such as how it would appear on mobile devices like a phone, or how it might look on a laptop with a smaller screen. As of right now, I will edit my own About Panels and be content with how they look on my monitor, but if I go onto say my laptop it would look a bit different to how I set it up (different monitor sizes). -

Subathon
Subathons have become a rising even in many communities, I believe twitch can help streamers organize subathons much like a hype train. Where a streamer can set incentives, a timer that counts down and increases as people subscribe, cheer, elevate, or gift subs.
