  1. The schedule tab is extremely redundant if it's not tied to your timezone. The current extension will show the streamer's schedule in the time zone of the system viewing it. This is SO important as we all know noon CET is most definitely not noon PST. From the looks of things now, we'll just be able to set our schedules to a time, and it will then be up to the viewer to keep track of what timezones we are in. Thus the schedule will not be usable for the viewer.
This should also include the option for the streamer…

Just to provide some clarity – we actually already handle the timezone translation for both streamer and viewer, so viewers should be able to see exactly when you’re going live in their timezone. We realize it’s tricky because we don’t have any messaging that explains this, so we will be working to get that added.

  2. Please add biweekly and monthly options for scheduling in addition to the current weekly option.

Many people such as myself work a 2 week rotating schedule or work irregular shifts.

More scheduling options would provide more inclusivity for people that don't work a weekly schedule and would benefit the streaming community a great deal.

  3. I would like to see an integration, where I can import an iCalendar (like Google Calendar, Apple iCal, etc.) to sync with my schedule on twitch. Or the other way round an export function or a API, with which I can import my Twitch schedule to an application that supports iCal/webCal.

  4. From another suggestion that is marked as completed:
"You can currently schedule a select day you plan to stream, but this feature is only available for Affiliate and Partners. To do this this, under Frequency, select Specific day and voilà. Thank you for your feedback!"

This seems like a stupid feature to only be available to Affiliates and Partners. New streamers that are trying to grow will often try out new things and new times, but Twitch makes them go elsewhere to promote this instead of giving them the tool that is already built to solve this problem.

  5. Title says it all, late night streamers since the schedule has it way on the right doesn't show the image. People will recognize the image before just text and respond quicker to that. Some may not even read it at all. So late night streamers have that going against them.

  6. Perhaps I've missed this feature, but I feel like it would be helpful to include an optional explanation box for a canceled stream. While I do have my social media/discord to communicate as well, it would be great to have a centralized location to communicate that. Not everyone needs to know every reason, but if you would like to, its helpful.

Perhaps it's redundant if you have a following on socials, but if someone doesn't check and goes straight to the stream, they may wonder if there's technical issues or a delay, as opposed to a cancellation, and may not…

  7. A really simple request: currently the twitch schedule is almost completely useless as you can’t export it to your calendar app, so, effectively, the schedule you’ve gone and set up only exists in one page on your twitch channel, where people have to specifically go and browse to if they want to see if you’ve planned to stream this week. Nobody does that.

Adding an “add to calendar” button on the schedule page so that users can load a streamer’s schedule into their calendar app of choice would mean that even if go live notifications are turned off (or perhaps…

  8. This new layout completely ignores that there are streams with more than one person behind them.

My fiance and I, run our channel together we don't stream at the same time in fact we stream twice a day (Him at 3PM and me at 9PM), we also have a coop stream on Saturday's. The schedule is forcing us to put one time, when our panels have everything we need customized.

The schedule tab should go away, because it doesn't accurately represent EVERY stream type on Twitch.

  9. I really hope this gets to the right spot. I have tried to make a schedule on my channel home page. For normal people this is easy, because every week in life is the same for them. I am a full time firefighter so my work rotation is every 3 weeks. I have tried to do a schedule the way it is, but every week I have to change the days, and I am not sure that even helps. I would like to see maybe a monthly schedule or even editable calendar so that everyone's schedule can be accommodated. I…

  10. Right now it seems extremely onerous, if I know I'm not going to be able to stream one particular night or my plan for that night is going to change, to have to dig into the schedule UI and mess around with things. It'd be great to make this case more ergonomic (esp. something like "activate vacation mode for just today") via a dashboard button or something.

  11. It would be great to be able to change the timezone being used. For one, people moving to a new place would have to change it, and for those who accidentally set the wrong time zone (Yes, I did that), it would be helpful to change it to the proper one.

  12. I would love the ability to skip a stream on the schedule page without deleting all repeated stream schedules. For example, I could not stream today and I knew it for a week. I would have liked to be able to take it off the Twitch Schedule calendar, but keep my one for next Thursday.

  13. The scheduler right now is absolutely not worth my time. It's just a week's worth of times and categories which are assumed to repeat each week as they are set once, but my schedule changes from one week to the next. Give us a proper calendar and get rid of the time dropdowns. Also for the love of everything 24h timing. I don't know am from pm and the dropdown menus trip me up each time.

  14. I do variety and also have no "set" shedule, which makes the schedule panel a bit wonky. I think it will lead to more confusion for my audience and people who discover my page as well as other streamers who operate the same. I'd love to see an option to condense this for those of us to encourage the use of notifications and stream as we feel. That aside, the general setup is useful for people who do stream schedules (minus the requirement to list the game that is going to be played). I enjoy how clean the new page…

  16. I follow and unfollow streamers regularly. For new streamers I discover, I follow and check their "Schedule" tab. When we click the next broadcast scheduled we are allowed to click on a "Remind Me" feature.

It would be great to have a live (24/7) page of all these Reminders we set for ourselves (of upcoming streams including dates and duration times).

It would help followers (who use this feature a lot) to plan their non-Twitch time around the streamers they want to see.

As for me, I use this feature heavy, so I cannot remember everyone I follow and set…

  17. Right now the new schedule allows you to display up coming streams but it also shows what streams you did.

    Example issue this causes:

    • Normal schedule is 9am to 5pm
    • Streamer enters this in settings and it displays for the viewer on Schedule page
    • Streamer one Tuesday starts at 2pm and does a stream up to 10pm
    • The inconsistent stream the streamer did between 2pm and 10pm on Tuesday shows up on the schedule

The result is the viewer doesn't know the difference between a day scheduled manually by the streamer and a day added automatically by the system. So…

  18. I generally stream from around 11pm to 4am my time, and that stretches the schedule to the full width which causes several different issues. It prevents game icons from being shown at all, it cuts off the name of the game and other important information since it's at the edge, and it prevents past stream VODs from displaying like they're supposed to. It seems at least slightly remedied by only setting 1 game that spans the entire length (sorry, variety streamers), but it still doesn't display the game icon unless it reaches at least 4.5 hours for one of the…

  19. Instead of just having an option to say a stream is cancelled, it would be nice to make the listing as invisible to our viewers. That way we can freely edit the listing without creating confusion, or hide it if that stream/activity doesn't happen on any given week.

  20. Allow there to be an extra option to let other streamers contact each other, instead of messaging. A drop down option of a calender with open time slots with options for other streamers to play with each other for an allotted time. The streamer picks from the games that the other streamer plays and twitch sends an email to the streamer showing the request (the game and time slot) allowing them to accept/deny it. To make this feature only available to fellow streamers it would have a required number of followers set by the streamer whos allowing incoming request. That…
