Enable users to block specific tags
Enable users to block specific tags, such as 'first-person camera' in order to avoid being recommended categories or videos that trigger motion sickness.
This would also be helpful for avoiding content that may be distressing (e.g. blocking the horror tag) and just for avoiding whole genres of games that don't interest you (e.g. FPS tag), rather than having to mark individual categories for single games as 'not interested'.

Lemme block "vtubers" and "lgbtyadayada+-=".
I already have 100+ vtubers blacklisted on my profile.

Theres an option to block category but still im getting reccomendations of those games on my sidebar under certain streamers page "viewers also watch". My selections should filter those reccomendations aswell, if i dont want to see certain streamer theres a reason if i say im not interested on certain streamers, games etc. For example i select i dont want to see Resident Evil game or whatever and then i still see the games streams under "smaller communities" or "speedruns" and under "streamers also watch" like i mentioned before even though i have so called blocked the game in my eyes already. Why? Why twitch still forces you those channels even though i have made my decision. If i want to undo my selections of interested streams i know from where to do it, twitch shoudlnt remind me of anything than im ONLY interested at. And why there isnt an option to "show only streams of **** game" simple thing to add, since im only interested in 1 game actually but still im forced to see other games i dont care about. I like to select only World of Tanks game and see nothing else. Why isnt this a thing? We are the "customers" of twitch and we should have the SOLE right to decide what we want to see and what not! Fix it once and for all.

Yes. Let me block all Vtubers please. 3/5 streamers are vtubers now and they all look and sound like dog water. I would prefer to watch people, if I wanna watch cartoons I'll turn on the TV.

there is a google chrome extension called "unwanted twitch" that allows you to block tags along with channels and titles
i've been using it for about a month and so far its worked flawlessly -

So, I got tired of waiting for this to happen, and I just made my own tool. You can sort by multiple tags, exclude tags you don't want, and filter by viewer count and lots of other things. The UI is pretty basic at the moment, but I'm improving it all the time! It's at https://www.stream-scanner.com

We can block category but not tags? That is a bit weird! We should be able to customize our experience! I don't want to see horror stuff where any channel that has a tag "horror" is blocked. There are other tags too that I also want to block like this but you get the idea. I'm in support of being able to block specific tags, not just game categories. Sure we can chose "not interested" individually per stream but you cannot do that when a tag has 1000 or so streams going. Also, if a streamer newly streams under the tag, you'd be presented with said stream still.
If I don't want "horror" tagged stuff, why do I even have to have it on my recommended feed? Additionally, why do I have to have it in my "all channels" feed? If no means no, obviously it means no.

Do not want to see any VTuber anymore and being able to block tag will be very helpful.

Yes I was about to post this also. I don't personally mind whatever is allowed on the website but since we have tags I thought it would be good if we have the option on our personal profiles to select certain ones we don't wanna see at all.

Given the recent ToS changes, having the ability to block Sexual Themed tagged streams from recommendations would be nice

Can I block channels based on tags or stream titles?

Please add this, everyone has things they don't want to see, don't want recommendations for, and don't want open and making noise as soon as I open the app. I'll never watch asmr, vtubers, or hot tub streams and idk why thats over half my recommendations no matter how many I block individually!

Please add this. I'm tired of coming across ASMR/lewd/furry streams under the game category I'm trying to watch because they've got 8 tags and only three of them are showing on the search page, or, like others said, sometimes it's hard to find streams in a language I want to watch because there are so many other languages cluttering up the results.

I really would like this idea to happen. Every time I try to look for a stream, there is always a stream with tags like "furry" and that do not look "right". We have the option to filter stream with tags, wouldn't it good to also have the option to filter out tags?

This is the most important feature you still need to add, i not want to be bombarded anymore with political talk/sexual orientation/lewd **** sucking simulating or only fans promotion. Let me filter tags so i just get to enjoy my free time with the content that was what made this platform in the first place to enjoy gaming. Atm each time i go to twitch page now i get some furry animal talking lewd autoplaying in the top, this is a nono for me.

totally agree. please twitch, add the option to block/hide specific tags. in my case, i would like to block language tags, so that twitch stops suggesting me streams in languages i'm not interested in!!! (geez, cmon make this possible..this is getting annoying)
