OBS plugin for live captioner to allow higher accuracy closed captions OBS plugin that a live captioner could use - currently it doesn't seem there is any captioner-compatible software to use with OBS/Atem - this would mean higher accuracy captions for live broadcasts as currently accuracy isn't so great and also cuts out.

Deaf Accessibility Issue Hello,
My deaf friend and I have a helpful idea for deaf twitch users. We think deaf users should have a deaf badge to let everyone know that we are deaf. Streamers and viewers will know we are deaf and other people are deaf too. I don’t have to type I’m deaf like 3-5 times. My username looks like normal as everyone else and they will quickly know my ears are actually broken. My username is MadFlyTTV_SiN. I am a deaf streamer and a viewer too. I have had difficult time to reach some streamers who dint know that I…

Provide a secondary audio/TTS channel for visually impaired viewers. I use a TTS reader to read chat to my headphones, and mix it in with game audio and music. I've toyed with running two concurrent streams from my computer so that legally blind viewers could open both and have chat read to them in real-time, but it hasn't been stable enough. Not sure if possible, but if a secondary audio channel could be utilized by the broadcaster, those needing chat read to them could turn it on and control its volume to be able to keep up with chat.
Alternatively, an in-page TTS reader might also be a good…

Selectable emote sizes in chat. Occasionally emotes contain text and letters that are a bit hard to read. I know Twitch accepts up to 112px emotes, but seems to use the smaller ones in chat. Simply having a little checkbox to show larger emotes would be super helpful to those with limited sight.

Option to play a sound when a streamer goes live Sometimes a streamer announces a specific time when they will go online and do something special (an event, an announcement, etc.). It would be cool if I could get a small sound alert when that streamer goes online so I can in the meantime play some game or do other stuff while waiting and don't have to watch the clock all the time.

Colorblind mode We could use a colorblind mode because some users (like myself) have a hard time with some colors blending in with the background of the dark theme.

Add Captions to Clip Player Captions show up in VODs if they are sent to Twitch through an OBS plugin. However, they do not seem to appear on Twitch clips on Twitter or in the Twitch Clips player.

Closed Captioning Text Alignment & Font Currently there is only 3 text alignment where you can only select "Left, Center, or Right" so whenever you select neither of them, the captions does not line up neatly to the same width of the box.
We should have another option called Justify where it would line up all the text nicely which is more tidy, what justify looks like can be seen here - https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/playit.asp?filename=playcss_text-align&preval=justify
Also, I'm surprised that dyslexia font is not included in the font section. Please add dyslexia font, it will be beneficial for those people as well.
What do you guys think? I would…

More sign language options for stream language setting Currently, twitch has one Sign Language option for the stream language settings, which is American Sign Language.
It would be good to see more options here, including a catch-all "Other Sign Language" for the smaller Sign Languages that may not be present in the list.22 votes -
Chat font size, color schemes, and potentially highlighting. Selectable font sizes for chat that are separate from zooming the entire page with Ctrl+Mousewheel Up would be awesome, even if they don't evenly break. A really cool idea that I've had for a while is actively scaling text fonts, so things like "lol" fill the width of the chat frame, as opposed to longer messages being somewhat smaller.
Additionally to this, simple color-specific modes for different eye conditions - black on yellow, high contrast white on black, yellow on blue - would be immensely helpful.
A pie in the sky addition to this would be selectively highlighting chat messages…

Enable Captions in popout mode I am Disabled and I struggle to watch anything without subtitles. Streams also size wrong with my computer and I want to chat when watching. That means that I have to use popout mode and even streams that do have captions, I can't access through popout mode.

Increase spacing between edit box and bits button to allow editing messages The editable portion of the chat box contains not just the edit area but a bits button and an emote button. Typing on mobile can be tough and often I want to edit my message before posting to fix typos. After making edits in the middle of the message I often want to go to the end of the message and fix the last word or add something to the message.
The problem? It's very difficult, even if using a stylus, to get the edit caret to the end of the text because the bits button is there.
Since mobile…

Auto Shut Off I, like many other people, enjoy listening to streams before bed and often fall asleep to them. The problem is since Twitch is a streaming app it doesn't auto shut off. This means the stream will keep on running while I sleep. Sometimes I wake up and my phone has been running for eight hours straight because I didn't exit Twitch before sleeping. I think you should add a toggleable auto shut off feature that turns a stream off after 30 minutes. It should be toggleable so people can turn it off. Please add this, it would be a great…

SPELL CHECKER PLEASE Like millions of others i have difficulties spelling. I have dyslexia, and it takes me about 4 mins to type a message this long. now try and participate in a chat room with a 4 minute spelling lag. it's impossible. a spell check would cut that in half or 3/4. for us who struggle if we can get a part of the word right spell check will get us the rest of the way. Please find a way to implement a spell check it would be a massive improvement.

Easier navigation for visually impaired users (Non legally blind & legally blind) I have my browser make text and zoom in onto the websites I view to allow for easier navigation. With my settings, I find that with both side panels decide to break and text overlays on top in the about section of a streamers page. You can start the side panels collapsed so that visually impaired persons can navigate the website better

Dark mode by default Having light mode as the default theme can be quite bright and loud upon first entering the site. Dark mode is much easier on the eyes, and much easier to read.

Choosing between HTML and plain text emails Providing plain text emails is an important aspect of user accessibility. They're easier to look at and less error-prone to assistive technologies.
It also plays a role in respecting user privacy.6 votes -
Give Upload access to those who can't fully register for Affiliate. Because I am on Universal Credit, due to health disabilities/ problems, it means, I can't complete the Affiliate forms.
There SHOULD be updates to Twitch in the future either allowing those unfortunate like me to be able to buy certain features like Uploads, mostly Uploads or gain access to them.
It just seems really unfair to those who has the same problems as I do.11 votes -
Profile option for emergency contact field/command for streamers/mods There have been many times where a streamer has had some sort of emergency while live streaming. The viewers are left confused, panicked, and have no way to help. Situations such as seizures, embolisms/DVT, stroke (which is a real threat for people sitting down all day), and even non-medical emergencies such as someone breaking into their house.
As an epileptic myself, having a seizure on stream is one of my biggest fears. I am not always home with someone else. If I had a medical emergency while streamer, there would be nothing anyone could do or at least not very…
