How it works:
  • Choose a relevant category for your idea and check to see if any other users have already submitted this suggestion before creating your own
  • Be clear with your suggestion, provide examples and solutions to the problem you are posing. Suggestions without actionable feedback may be closed without comment
  • Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests
  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information.
  • Titles that are unclear or unnecessarily vulgar may be reworded to better reflect the request for ease of discovery

  1. While I understand that currently the CDC is not requiring masks at events, I feel the staff of Twitch and the goers of Twitch Con NA have a duty to ensure con-goers are safe.

As it stands on the CDC COVID tracker website (https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#datatracker-home) you can see the fluctuations of the virus and the numbers are on an upward incline already and those numbers are only until January 6th.

From what the US itself is experiencing, much less the entire world taking into account international travelers who would be coming, a mask mandate for the convention should be…

  2. Considering the conversations happening both in-person among attendees and online, it's safe to say a large group of attendees consider that Las Vegas wasn't a great fit as a TwitchCon host city.

TwitchCon is about community and coming together. Except in Las Vegas, due to traffic, large distances and road closures, as well as casinos, shows and other entertainment options, going to the expo floor was more of a hassle and afterthought than the main event.

By moving TwitchCon to a more walkable city, like San Diego [the previous-host city], people spend less time, energy as well as money in…

  3. A panel of hosts discussing being a disabled streamer on twitch with topics such as inspiration stories, challenges and how twitch has helped their lives. I myself have Cystic Fibrosis and would love to host it!

  4. With all the recent shooting incidents in the US, please consider improving the security and safety around long lines that form near entrances/exits where people are most vulnerable. I think one way we can improve the safety of everyone is to use some sort of marker in lines (similar to the markers used in lines during Covid) that create spacing between people. It will help prevent crowding and pileups in the event that people need to disperse quickly. I also suggest placing security and law enforcement personnel near lines to monitor for suspicious activity. Thank you.

  5. There is a severe lack of large gaming conventions here, and i think it would help both the CA Twitch community, as well as the gaming community in general.

  7. I have found no solid way to contact any person relating to TwitchCon. On their own webpage, they encourage to message on their Twitter page, which results in no answers returned. None. I was advised to contact Twitch devs, Twitch Support, and many more departments with no success in resolving this issue.

I was bombarded with dropdown menus with topics that do NOT relate to anything I need assistance with, and when I find myself finally talking with a real human being, they constantly tell me it is the wrong department (probably because none of their selections fit what I…

  8. A separate wristband you can choose to wear or a color tab added to the event wristband to show personal levels of comfort. Green means you can approach, shake hands, etc. Red means not comfortable with any kind of physical touch or close contact.

  9. With TwitchCon there comes a lot of disabled folks needing a point of contact to ask accessibility questions or get more info on whether or not aspects of the con are safe for mobility or other types of disabilities.

My request is to have an accessibility booth right up front when you enter the con that has a designated team or point of contact there to answer specific accessibility questions.

This comes after attending every TwitchCon NA since 2017 and always having to constantly struggle to find a staff that’s willing to answer my accessibility questions or even try to…

  10. The last twitch con I was at (2019), TwitchCon had a stage for music performances outside but it was not organized or advertised as well.

The music category has grown tremendously, so it would be amazing if there was a more organized time for the music community to be able to show off their talent or get to meet up together. Although there was Twitch Sings, they are a completely different community.

  12. It would be amazing if we tried out Chicago for TwitchCon! It's a really fun city and so close to the middle that WAY more creators AND viewers would be able and WILLING to attend! It's far more affordable than California & I really believe Twitch users on the East Coast & even the South would appreciate it!

I just think it would really be in Twitch's best interest to at least try it out once! I'm sure they'd be super surprised at the turnout and excitement!

  13. For the past few years of TwitchCon, I've always enjoyed seeing the tradition of Twitch Affiliates being surprised and becoming our newest band of Twitch Partners. As the Twitch Ambassador program is so small and tight-knit, what if Twitch could also surprise a current Twitch Partner as a brand new Twitch Ambassador? I think that would be amazing to do at the opening and closing ceremonies!

  16. Twitch Con: Seperate badge for full facemask cosplayers/streamers?

There are a lot of cosplayers and streamers that use full face masks or face paint while they stream, and under current TwitchCon rules, would not be allowed to attend.

This makes it difficult to network and expand our streams at live events because no one will recognize us.

I'm an introvert and have a hard time talking to people in person, but while in my full costumed Twitch persona, I have no problem being personable and entertaining.

I understand the security concerns about face masks, but I feel in the post…

  17. Ok so I have a discord I made for twitch con San Diego 2022, and would like to make it become an official discord of twitch cons and be promoted by twitch, if they are ok with that, I’m not looking for any recognition on having the discord and operating it, I would just like to bring the twitch community back as a whole and have a discord for those who are going. I can look into the ability to set up auto roles for those who are partners, affiliates, staff, etc.

  19. I want to propose Denver, CO, as a site for TwitchCon.

The Colorado Convention Center would be an ideal location. If timely booked, Twitch would be able to take full advantage of its space and other amenities and features.

Attendees would enjoy access to many restaurants and services within the Denver metro area. Some are accessible through the Regional Transportation District's (RTD) bus and light rail system. Attendees may also be interested in accessing landmarks within the state, such as the Garden of the Gods park, the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Rocky Mountain National Park.

    In recent years, Denver has…

  20. Since this board only allows upvotes you can vote here for the counter argument.
Masks aren't required by the airlines.
Masks aren't required by the venue.
Masks aren't required by the restaurants.
Masks aren't required by the hotels.
Masks aren't required by the government.
Masks should not be required at TwitchCon.
