Me and My 14 year old friend were going to go to Twitchcon Amsterdam together, they were willing to fly all the way to the Netherlands for this. But we found out that this year there is an age requirement of 16+ even if you go with your legal guardian. I wanted to first of all ask why this is the case?
Second, is this going to be a requirement with the San Diego event as well?
And Is there anyway we could make this work out? they would go with their mom and they are mature so there wouldn’t be any issues.

Please change the age requirement or tell me why its 16+
There’s a lot of people you are excluding by having the requirement being higher than the required age to watch twitch streamers.

Wed need to know this in advance so we can book accommodations, buy plane tickets etc.

Hello, I was wondering about the age requirement of twitchcon Amsterdam, why does it start from the age of 16 and above when conventions done by you prior to this one didn’t have this requirement? There are plenty of people between the ages of 13 and 15 that enjoy watching twitch and would love to experience the convention, including my 14 year old friend from America that was willing to go through the hassle of getting to Amsterdam to meet me and go to twitchcon until we saw the unnecessary requirement. They would have come with their mother and it would’ve been all fine, so I want an explanation as to why this is something that’s suddenly required of anyone wanting to go

Also is this going to be the case for twitchcon Sandiego?

And is there any way we could still make this work?
We have to know before the tickets run out so we could get everything sorted out with accommodations, plane tickets etc.
