  1. While I understand that currently the CDC is not requiring masks at events, I feel the staff of Twitch and the goers of Twitch Con NA have a duty to ensure con-goers are safe.

As it stands on the CDC COVID tracker website (https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#datatracker-home) you can see the fluctuations of the virus and the numbers are on an upward incline already and those numbers are only until January 6th.

From what the US itself is experiencing, much less the entire world taking into account international travelers who would be coming, a mask mandate for the convention should be…

  2. Considering the conversations happening both in-person among attendees and online, it's safe to say a large group of attendees consider that Las Vegas wasn't a great fit as a TwitchCon host city.

TwitchCon is about community and coming together. Except in Las Vegas, due to traffic, large distances and road closures, as well as casinos, shows and other entertainment options, going to the expo floor was more of a hassle and afterthought than the main event.

By moving TwitchCon to a more walkable city, like San Diego [the previous-host city], people spend less time, energy as well as money in…

  4. With TwitchCon there comes a lot of disabled folks needing a point of contact to ask accessibility questions or get more info on whether or not aspects of the con are safe for mobility or other types of disabilities.

My request is to have an accessibility booth right up front when you enter the con that has a designated team or point of contact there to answer specific accessibility questions.

This comes after attending every TwitchCon NA since 2017 and always having to constantly struggle to find a staff that’s willing to answer my accessibility questions or even try to…

  5. On meetup.twitch.tv it shows meetup date and time in your (computer's) time zone.

Organizers will often add the local time in the meetup description or the event image. But not every organizer does.

It would be great if in addition to your time zone's time the site would also show the local time of wherever the meetup happens natively. This would make it easier to plan and attend meetups when you travel across time zones.

  6. It would be amazing if we tried out Chicago for TwitchCon! It's a really fun city and so close to the middle that WAY more creators AND viewers would be able and WILLING to attend! It's far more affordable than California & I really believe Twitch users on the East Coast & even the South would appreciate it!

I just think it would really be in Twitch's best interest to at least try it out once! I'm sure they'd be super surprised at the turnout and excitement!

  7. I think as it stands, the announcement of dates in February is very short notice, particularly for those who work and need to get time off. By the time February comes around and the dates are usually announced - it's extremely difficult to get time off, particularly in July throughout the summer holidays.

I would even consider moving Twitchcon to June. With the age limit for the event being 16+ having it during the school holidays results in increased costs, difficulty in getting time off and a much busier area around the venue. A month earlier would still allow for…

  8. It’s been 4 years now. People have taken every shot available and still have gotten COVID. People who religiously mask up with N95s have still gotten COVID. Howard Stern, who hid in his house for 4 years finally got COVID. If your immune system is compromised, you should heed your doctors advice to stay away from large gatherings. Personal safety is personal responsibility. If you want to “feel” safe, you can make the choice to mask up.

  9. Hi, my first and only twitchcon was this past year in vegas 2023, and while it was very fun, too many parts were putting people at risk or leading them on wild goose chases.
I would greatly appreciate if you would be willing to read this post about my experiences in its entirety. ♥
    .
To start off, there was actively no seating or shade provided to attendees during badge pickup on thursday (and from what i saw, also on the actual convention days) - this is a problem because I was nearly having an emergency because I was overheating,…

  10. I want to propose Denver, CO, as a site for TwitchCon.

The Colorado Convention Center would be an ideal location. If timely booked, Twitch would be able to take full advantage of its space and other amenities and features.

Attendees would enjoy access to many restaurants and services within the Denver metro area. Some are accessible through the Regional Transportation District's (RTD) bus and light rail system. Attendees may also be interested in accessing landmarks within the state, such as the Garden of the Gods park, the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Rocky Mountain National Park.

    In recent years, Denver has…

  11. Bring twitchcon EU to the uk. I think it would be good for uk streamers because it would be easier to get to rather than flying all the way to another country for it and I would recommend having the event at either Birmingham, London, Liverpool or Manchester because they are some of the biggest cities in the uk and they are loads of big venues to have the event and generally it will be good for fans in the uk because they will have the chance to go and meet their favourites streamers and meet other people and make…

  12. It should be scheduled at a time when most people naturally have time off so more people can go. Putting it so far from the east coast and in the fall make it kinda put the east coast college crowd on extreme difficulty to try and go.

  14. Mabuhay!

This is Midgalicis on Twitch, and I would like to know your Marketing/Communications/Partnerships Manager /Events Staff (APAC).

We, the Twitch Streamers from the Philippines, would like to make Twitch Con MNL happen. We are passionate and eager to know the other Twitch Streamers from the Philippines & South East Asia. Our eagerness to make the event happen when CONQuest 2023 didn't live up to our expectations.

There should be Artist Alleys, TAGAlleys (a Wordplay for Tagalog, a common Dialect in the Philippines, and Triple A Games, another term for Battle Royale Games), DEIty's Realm (or Advocacy Area for Diversity,…

  15. With all the recent shooting incidents in the US, please consider improving the security and safety around long lines that form near entrances/exits where people are most vulnerable. I think one way we can improve the safety of everyone is to use some sort of marker in lines (similar to the markers used in lines during Covid) that create spacing between people. It will help prevent crowding and pileups in the event that people need to disperse quickly. I also suggest placing security and law enforcement personnel near lines to monitor for suspicious activity. Thank you.

  17. About 4 years ago, I bought a Glitch Emote Snapback (ASIN: B074LZDJ23) on Amazon DE. Since then, it has been my go-to cap for everyday things.
However, the colors are slowly fading, and I'd like to buy this cap again, but it has sadly been discontinued by Twitch.

Additionally, the new models (in this case, the Offset Cap (ASIN: B08CXFPKRR)) are uncomfortably tight and cannot be adjusted to the same size.
Please return the old model to the EU Loot Cave.

  18. Give your Artists and Makers & Crafters an opportunity to set up a booth at TwitchCon to sell their merch and meet their communities! Logistically, it would have to be open to those who are legit business owners and have insurance to cover events, but many of us earn our living like this and are used to these rules. Show your artistic communities that you see them and hear them and support them!

  19. Make Twitchcon in the east coast. Many people cant aford to get a plane ticket or drive to either the west coast or fly to the EU, myself being one of them. and it leaves out many people who may never get to meet their favorite creators or experience the con itself.

This would be great and many, including myself, would very much aprciate it!

  20. I would like to see the scheduling of events and ceremonies not conflict or compete with sessions and meetups.
I missed opening ceremonies and other main stage events because of conflicts with other sessions being held at the same time.
Prioritizing must be hard for the planning staff and not realize that some of the sessions or meet ups are important to the streamers attending, and so are the main stage events and ceremonies.
I would like to not have to miss sessions or stage events because of the scheduling conflicts.
There has to be a better solution.
    Thank you…
