only showing 1 viewer
My stream keeps showing 1 viewer, while lots of my friends are watching it, what is going on? this is just so stupid, how can anyone get affiliate if its always showing 1 viewer no matter how many are actually watching it

lol this many people and no response, only answer is that they wont fix it, twitch is against the users... they don't care if the site is not working

fix the counter , 3 to 5 viewers and I know they are watching but, only 1 viewer? this hurts my analytics, FIX IT. How people are supposed to grow like this?

As you can see at least 200 people have same issue but Twitch just doesn't care i think. These people are trying to complete affiliate tasks. If Twitch doesn't fix this problem, how can all these people become affiliate? My friend got 7 viewers. They're actively joining to the chat but we can see 2 viewers.

Having similar issue with viewers dropping to one or 0 when I have a friend or friends watching. If we just don't understand why it's happening an explanation would be appreciated.

Same here, Few dedicated friends ACTIVELY chatting in chat, view count 1 for hours, Only went up after got raided by friends to attempt to fix issue which it did, Managed to pull a average of 2 out of a 10 hour ******* stream, I've now just sent my 4th ticket in about viewer count issue, Will probably get closed without response again :/

i have found that changing online status to offline will show the viewer count correctly but this has only happened one time so far so dont know if this is a forever fix. i also feel like i shouldnt have to change anything for it to work :/ twitch just needs to fix their ****

It's like this because apparently for the twitch algorithm to pick up a user as a viewer they have to say something every like 10-30m or something like that. if they don't they don't count them for some reason.

I have the same Problem and a lot of other small Streamers also. Twitch has to do some fixes here it is a Problem with the Servers in my Opinion. If there are a lot Streamers online the ViewerCount is wrong. For small Streamers it is very disapointing if you know there are 20 People Chatting but only 2 are in the ViewerCount.

guys it may because you are using more than two twitch accounts per house hold. go with just two running and i'm sure the problem will go away ...

I stream to twitch from OBS, I am having the same issue. I will have friends and viewers contact me for stream times, be up and streaming, and see 4 people in the chat talking. It shows 1 - 2 viewers. Offline i will take in feedback to see if anyone was not actually watching the stream. Everyone is watching. Also tried to run a test stream to see what was going on. Even with 4 people trying to watch the stream and rarely use chat it was still bouncing around on how many viewers were there, and that was during a test stream to adjust and find the issue. I do hope this gets resolved soon.

pretty sad that this topic doesn't even have an "investigating" stamp on it, due to the fact it's such a big thing for newer streamers. But who cares about those, right Twitch?
