1. hours instead of viewers for affiliate.

   I think there should be a minimum following and a minimum hours of streaming to become affiliate. 3 viewers are absurd. It takes the determination and ambition from us people who are trying to become affiliate. I'm sure there are many more suggestions like this. Also if we stream longer to get more people in, it throws the numbers off for the viewers per hour. So if i stream for 12 hours straight, and ive had one person watching for about 10 and then all of a sudden i get a crowd of 3, the viewr count will be less than one. WTF TWITCH.... So should I just stop if this is how i feel and move TO KICK? Or are you guys okay just making money off the people that are already partners? or do you guys just continue to waste my time and effort. Ive been streaming for about a solid year now and ive far surpassed hours, Days of streaming, Follows. But viewers... You guys are deep in your pockets and i see why you have this reason. Just be honest with your people on what your intentions are.... LOL

2. Head Mod and Assistant Head Mod

   Head mod - has many similar abilities as the streamer to help out like mod and unmod people, being able to also put mods in emote only and everything else and will be able to punish everyone including assistant mod except the streamer also able to choose to make someone assistant mod or even take it away and it will come with the golden mod badge or anything suitable

   Assistant head mod - same thing but cant punish the streamer or the head mod and it comes with a silver mod badge or anything suitable

   whether they are a big streamer or small this would help so much, streamers are so distracted and aswell they will only appoint people they really trust to these positions if they choose too, it will help chat by making sure it runs smooth and being able to access things the streamer was only able too, so we can help out there if needed (if given permission by streamer)

3. Streamed games in Analytics graph

   Game (Directory) needs to be a stat type for the analytics graph in Statistics Overview.

   A fundamental insight

   With Twitch Analytics we get en insight in how our stream is performing but not as much insight about why.

   For many streamers, what game we stream plays a major part in areas like viewer count, chatmessages, new follows and more.

   This give us a way to investigate.

   Many new viewers browse our stream from the webpage where they only see a few hints of what to expect.
   One of them hints is the game we stream.

   Tracking what we play over time and opening up correlation with other stats is hold great insights.

4. Improved Roles 2.0 (Editor, Manager, and more)

   A few years ago, I posted an idea of an Improved Editor role, but since then that post has become a bit outdated.

   In reality, it’s more than just the editor role that needs to be improved, so let’s breakdown what each role should be.

   Editor - Should be able to highlight and clip/manage clips and adjust the overall appearance of a streamer’s channel.

   Features/Abilities:

   • Edit highlights and publish them

   • View analytics just like a streamer can

   • Manage clips, adjust their lengths, and titles. Credits could say Clipped by and then edited by

   • Should have a badge maybe a pencil or something

   • Submit emotes and badges and everything else on behalf of a streamer and adjust artist credit

   • Should be able to give Emote Artist role

   Moderator - should be able to ban, and view necessary information to do so.

   Features/abilities:

   • Moderate viewers (ban, timeout, etc.)

   • View shared ban information with more details (maybe a preview of the chat messages that were from the other stream or even a ban reason or if they were unbanned/appealed)

   • IP ban ability (there’s too many people who just evade permanent bans, and Twitch report system does nothing to help. Should be able to flag an account for suspected ban evasion, and have it inspected by Twitch to see if they have multiple accounts)

   Overall mod abilities are probably the best Twitch has right now but could also be improved a bit.

   Channel Manager - This would be a new role who basically acts as an admin. Some channels have multiple streamers, co-owners, or co-hosts and they should be able to be given admin roles.

   • Unique badge (maybe a gear or shield or crown or something)

   • Be able to do basically everything a streamer can do but for the specific channel.

   Emote Artist:

   Emote artist badge isn’t bad, but I’ve noticed they need to approve it on their end before getting credit, that should be defaulted approval. artists aren’t regularly available to approve or disprove emotes, it should just automatically give them the role and the credit.

   Any other ideas, post them down below in the comments. Hopefully these ideas can actually be implemented.

5. Payouts

   So I recently have had an issue with twitch and had quite a bad experience with them my tax forms got messed up for whatever reason Twitch appoligised for this however it had messed up two months payments now I'm being told ive got to wait till the 3rd months payouts I believe this is unacceptable despite speaking to twitch there refusing to sort this issue out (Twitch you need to fix issues like this and prevent them from happening)

7. Partner Threshold & Affiliate Changes

   For all these years I have been a creator on Twitch. I've always wanted to question myself "Why can't I reach Twitch Partner?" and "Why was Affiliate so easy to get and Partner is so much harder?".

   These are the 2 primary questions I've always wanted to seek answers to and for the primary reasons listed below:

   1: The Path To Partner Numbers isn't a proper system to have in place for the current Affiliate Streamers.
   2: The Features of Squad Streaming Stream Teams should be available to Affiliates

   To elaborate more on my reasons above.

   1: The idea of your average viewer count being 75+ is a bit "Unfair". You're taking an overall average of hours in 1 Month and applying that to a very inconsistent schedule that a creator may have on the side.

   Personally for myself, I work 2 jobs and stream on the side as an Affiliate. There's a major inconsistency in how I stream because it's a "Swing Shift Schedule" in the manner that I'm not on a fixed schedule all the time. Instead, I'm that streamer who may start playing some games for 4-8+ hours because I was just "In The Zone" and forgot I was still live on stream because I was just having that much fun on stream. These streams can fluctuate day by day and for all I know. I may have only 2-5 Viewers who are lurking and nobody even chatting at the time. With that in mind, I feel that if every month I've hit 2/3 of the "Path To Partner" status and I have a super low viewer count. This Viewer Count should become Obsolete because I'm showing my Dedication to being live on stream for endless hours of my free time for multiple days and because of the fluctuation of different hours streamed that it ruins my average viewer count.

   2: I've been part of many various communities in my time as a creator. I was a member of 2 different eSports Teams who eventually folded. I was a member of an amazing Stream Team who released me from the team without any specific reasoning. I'm currently a member of an amazing community stream team and this team is amazing! But at the same time. Stream Teams should be available for the ability to be formed at the Twitch Affiliate Level per the fact why I listed above just how difficult Path to Partner really is. The Idea of Squad Streaming with an amazing community is even more entertaining too! I'm always streaming Sea of Thieves with Multiple Creators and we're always inputting fellow creators' Channels in our Stream Titles and consistently shouting them out to our viewers to have each other be supported across both our communities. When I was removed from the 1 Stream Team for no specific reason, I was so ashamed that I immediately said "I'm gonna try and make my own Stream Team By the end of 2023!" and I want to keep that going. But yet again. Path To Partner is so harsh for a path to follow. And with Work/Life getting in your way. it's next to impossible to get these made...

   These are my reasons for these changes and I hope we seen them happen sooner than later

8. Category Suggestions should have a search option

   The new category suggestions feature in the overview tab of the dashboard should have a search option along with its filter, so that streamers can easily pick out categories/games they're interested in and see the stats. As it stands, you have to rely on the feature picking the category you want to see for you, which isn't all that reliable.

9. Allow editing your upcoming week's schedule

   I think it would be nice to have the ability to edit your upcoming week or so's schedule. Bring in what is on the normal schedule, but have the ability to override for next week only.

   For instance, there is an event coming up for 12/5-12/7. I would like my schedule to reflect that I will be postponing my standard schedule to participate. To do that currently, I would need to unschedule what I have, schedule the event, then come back and unschedule the event to revert my schedule.

   Doable, but a hassle.

11. subs are not showing in activity feed

    last night a follower pointed out they had subbed to me but it didnt show up either in chat or in my activity feed. it did show in my statistics so i know that it has been done - but this means that there may be follows or subs that i have not recognised (losing user engagement). this is not my fault as they are not showing in the activity feed.

13. Category between Affiliate and Partner

    With the Affiliate program launching many years ago and Partnership next to impossible for part-time streamers/parents/and people with lower viewership to obtain without extensive time-gating (and let's face it, luck), there needs to be a category for those that are already Affiliate and not yet Partner. Please consider giving your creators more incentive to stay on the platform and continue to grow our communities. Maybe this could look like those that have been an Affiliate since 2017 (close to launch), or with a certain number of followers/ viewers getting to this new step in the ladder to Partner. The ability to create a stream team/ guaranteed encoding options would be two major draws for this category. This could also help those in categories that may not be able to reach a 75 concurrent viewer goal. It could help those in creative categories or variety streamers, for example.

    Websites like Society6 and Redbubble have Paypal by default no matter in which country you're located as an author. It is not clear why Twitch does not allow me to use Paypal because I am not located in certain country. Also there is extremely limited list of payment methods available. It almost looks like those were made only for USA residents, and if you are not - wire transfer is your only option. Not quite fair.
    What I am suggesting is to add more payment options.

    I'm archiving past broadcasts without auto publish (Twitch dashboard feature). There is no error when I click publish button, but there's no video on my channel.

    Making highlight is working. But it is not convenient.

17. More detailed analytics and show historical not just last 30 days

    I'd love to be able to see more information on which tags are used and when. For example, am I getting more clicks on "woman" in Outdoor IRL, just chatting, etc? We only see the top 5 but I'd like to be able to see what the top 10 are. This would be super helpful to A/B test.

    Plus seeing how those tags perform over time would be incredible. Same with channel overlap and analytics in general. Historical and cyclical performance is helpful particularly year over year.

18. markdown in video description

    The description of a video in the video producer says that it accepts markdown, yet any valid markdown that I try does not seem to actually be formatted when I look back at the video in my channel.
    for instance twitch , the example that is given in the markdown basics guide (https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/markdown-basics?language=en_US) does not seem to actually work when I put it in the description of my video. It seems to just be plain text.

20. Twtich analytics bug

    There seems to be some strange bug that is affecting my channel where the Twitch API is not providing the data correctly on external analytics sites like sullygome, twitchmetrics, twitchtracker, socialblade, Etc. Every analytics site I've tried are not displaying any of my stream data for the past 2 weeks+ of streaming. Not sure if this is somehow affecting my account in other ways on Twitch that I'm not aware of like maybe my viewer count is not displaying correctly. It's such a weirdly specific issue I don't even know how to report it correctly. If Twitch staff can shed some light on this issue that would be great.
