Viewer Count WRong
Hello, my viewer count always shows 1 maybe 2 viewers, however you can clearly see multiple accounts in chat watching. So not including viewers that don't have accounts, why is my stream showing only 1 viewer?
i call my 7-10 friends to watch my twitch stream and they were commenting in chat box but their views were not counted.
and all have a verified twitch account.
me esta bajando la media de espectadores cuando en mis directos si hay viewers
I also have the same problem. Twitch does not count my viewers when they are clearly there and chatting even.
se ha solucionado?
This affects us all, since many people lose interest in small streams when they see that there are 5 views when there are more people commenting in the chat
This is something twitch needs to fix, I was streaming the other night was raided by a friend for 64 viewers and by the end of my stream I capped out at 33. But the summary is telling me I only had 13 viewers. Twitch please fix your viewer system this is hurting so many amazing content creators.
I had someone say that they clicked on my stream through browsing when it said 3 viewers, and in my stream it showed that I had 20. It never budged above 8 that night for me and the analytics “agree.”
Seriously, wtf. It harms my growth as a streamer, but more seriously, it hurts me as a person that I don’t even know I have that many people actually chilling with me because something so crucial isn’t working for some reason.
I’m the same had like 7 ppl in chat while it said only had 1 person which is gonna the hurt my analytics which hurts me overall and I just don’t understand :(
This has happened to myself, as a small streamer, myself and many others tend to lurk a lot of pages at once to help get everyone’s numbers up in an attempt to be seen, the way I feel, is if you have someone willing to lurk your page it must mean they also like the content, and think other people might too. But I’m the last month or so I’ll see that there are 10-15 people in chat, but only 3-5 viewers. While before the viewers was consistent with the people in chat, minus stream elements and things like that. Hopefully this gets addressed
Recently, I have noticed on a few streams that the viewer count number is inaccurate. Personally, I have not expirenced instances with the count being higher in any inaccurate way - however, I have experienced the count that is showing for viewers being much lower. (Example: Twitch may say I have 3 viewers, reality is I have 10, and 7 of those 10 may even be in the chat itself.) Unfortunately, because of this it suppresses the streamers viewability as well as tanks average viewer count for analytic purposes, including the tracking for streamers on the path to partnership. Is twitch aware of this happening? If twitch is aware, what is twitch doing to ensure accurate viewer counts? And lastly, for a view to be fully counted on twitch, would you please go ahead and inform the general public exactly what we as viewers need to do to ensure our views are being shown on our favorite viewers live streams (or what not to do), in addition to helping streamers be able to determine organic growth pertaining to thier channel?
VERDADE, NA MINHA LIVE TAMBEM TA ASSIM..
Few things I have done some homework on. I thought my Viewer count may have been very wrong. Turns out. It is not.. You may only have one or two devices watching per IP address. To count as a viewer stream volume must be on for the viewer to actually count. Not sure if there is anything else out there but those are just two things that i know were affecting my views as a lot of my friends would watch my live streams ( 3 of which room with me ) and my other friends would watch ( with no volume on ). Just two small things that actually added up to more so what my viewer count said I was getting. Hope this helps.
This is happening to me too now
yep me to .
I have been streaming now for almost a year. For the last 8-9 months, I have consistently brought in at least 5 viewers, and usually 7-9. However, Twitch only ever counts 2-3. I should have hit affiliate 8 months ago. I have sent in multiple tickets, and I only get an automated email telling me how to check users and chat, and viewers in chat. Twitch does not fix the actual problem. I even sent them a video showing them the human accounts from people I know of during a stream and were connected to my chat (at the time 5 were connected.) Twitch needs to fix this. This is extremely disheartening. I know that I am not the only one with this issue, and we are all being treated like we do not matter. Maybe Mixer will listen to us?
If I am streaming I see a other information about viewers and followers in StreamElements, OBS and Twitch. But the programs get the information from twitch, so why are the information incorrect?
The other thing is, I streamed a lot today 01.12.2020 up to 02.12.2020 and the stream information shows average viewer is 0.
But I had a lot of viewer around 3 up to 6 and chatters. Sho why is Twitch showing wrong information? I try to get the average viewers and followers to become affiliate. Wrong analytics and statistics doesn't help. Can you please correct the information and fix that bugs?
Happening to me as well
i got raided by a person who had 45 viewers watching, after that stream, it still says 1.26 average Viewers
