Don't Punish New Streamers
SO for a new person like myself to stream with 1 viewer for hours just having fun it cripples my ability to get affiliate because i have streamed for 80 hours with one viewer getting to 3 average viewers means I would have to get over 10 viewers to bring the average up within a 30 day period I wish it was based on viewers per stream rather then viewers per hour
I'm sorry, but this is BS. Those of you saying stream @ different times...really, you have no ******* clue what I do in my day. I stream the same everyday, as that is the only time I can stream. Not my fault to many ****** viewers think that the only thing they can watch is some twatwaffle running round spamming bullets at another twatwaffle. I stream real games, that require more thought processing, and NO, I don't sit there giving my stupid ******* opinion about politics, the game, or any of that other horse **** those "big" ******* ******** streamers do. Do you go to a movie and like people talking incessantly?? Then WTF would you want that **** in a stream??? STFU, play the ******* game.....Quit viewing a channel for a split second and leaving "because" you think it's boring. Maybe you would find out the game is actually a good one....This "3" count needs to be tossed and something else used!!! ******* TWITCH is becoming a POS, as it's kills small streamers faster than it makes them....Yet, ******* streamers can stream copyrighted material, football games LIVE, and not be "COPYRIGHT" infringed, and make the quota easily.....Small streamers need help...JMO, ************ if you don't like it...
The average viewers requirement is pretty dumb indeed. I’m at 67 followers and have 381 hours of total stream time, I started in June 2020, yet I barely get any viewers, it’s kinda bs tbh, many people are truly really hard and their best and yet they cannot succeed because of this really dumb requirement. the maths of twitch aren’t correct either, last month I had around 4 viewers every stream I did, yet it gave me 2.1 viewers on average. Pretty dumb imo.
You should play popular games so people can discover you channel.
The main argument I see here is about how harder it is for someone who streams for a long time versus those who stream just a few hours. One tip you can do to alleviate this problem is to have multiple streams in one day instead of one long stream. When I made affiliate I was streaming live at the time. My current streamed had crashed due to a connection issue and 30 min after I got the stream back up I got notified of my acceptance. Also if you notice a time period where you constantly don't have viewers may don't stream at those times till after you make affiliate. These are just ideas. Of course the best thing to do it network with other streamers and/or get your friends to join your streams.
I dont say this to be mean, but what have you done to socialize with other streamers? social medias? make highlight reals? actually watching and interacting in other streams? and lastly, you dont get to decide if your content is good, thats the viewers decision. your not being punished, you just need to work for it. nothing is free!
I stream full-time as a new streamer; (hours not salary.) I have an average viewership of 2.25 (Average Views) being the only thing I lack to make affiliate. Though, over 20 hours of the 40 I have streamed in the last week I have had peak of 20+ people and a peak of 10+ viewer retention
I have 72 followers currently; streamed 40/8 hours, and streamed 11/7 different days. I have been raided multiple times, I have had watch parties come see me.
But because the statistics for average viewership are counted for the entire month; The 40/8 hours screws me over and gives me an average of 2.25 viewers.
If we break 10+ viewers in multiple sessions then we shouldn't be forced to get hung up on a decimal. Even reducing the required Average Viewership duration calculated to 10 days would make it a lot more fair and rewarding for people that want to take the affiliate program seriously.
#DİREN 3 ORTALAMA İZLEYİCİ aynı sorunu bende yasıyorum aynı gemide degilmiyiz biz boşamı kurek sallıyoruz biz insan degilmiyiz kalıtelı bır yayın acıp saatlerımız harcıyoruz ama ezik damgası yiyoruz duy sesimizi twitch !
280 hours streamed and only have 28 followers and 2,7 avg of viewers, in same boat. I stream often and with good quality content. Am I spending my time for nothing? Is it all because of thousands of low-quality streamers with zero-one viewers in popular categories. And also in Russia we don't have fame in "Racing" category, that sucks(
I'm in the same boat. Set a new years resolution for myself so I generally have around 90+ hours streamed a month and the 3 average viewers is such a painful process for anyone that does longer streams.
Anyone that streams for shorter hours for their own groups can easily get affiliate, but the more time that you put into your streams, the harder it is to actually progress and move up with it.
