Adjusting channel points would be greatly appreciated for editors to edit.

I'd rather see mods do more.
- adjust channel points.
- Edit profiles in a better language. for whom a particular language is not fluent. or due to stroke disease
- Being able to do everything Except seeing stats, and deleting accounts. Mods can never delete an account only the creator host of a channel.

It would be great if editors can also start Predictions! This would be very helpful and useful.

Please also allow editors to change the 'go live' notification

I also agree with the latest suggestion of editors being able to manage channel point rewards. There's been more than a few times when I've seen channel point redeems get redeemed more often or behave differently than the streamer was expecting, and it would be nice to have the ability to change cooldown times and deactivate/activate rewards, or even just change rewards when the streamer changes their game.

Can I add another suggestion to Editor Role ? Manage Channel Points Rewards (Add / Edit / Delete / Replenish / Turn it on/off).

I don't think channel editor needs an exclusive badge. But I agree with other suggestions (Edit panels, moderate mods...)

Or you can change Channel Editor to Video Editor and create a new "administrative" role with more powers than channel editor, where streamer choose what "privileges" he wants to give to his admins.

Twitch is doing a great work updating a lot of stuffs (mod's view for example). But some things need to be updated asap.

Yes please. Right now if I have to make changes I either need the streamer awake to walk them through it or they have to give me their log in details which becomes a hassle. This would make things simpler.

Wholly agree with many of the post/comments. As streaming is becoming more and more mainstream, a lot more streamers have management now and it would be super convenient for us to be able to access a lot of the backend without needing to bother the streamer. Let the talent focus on the content; let the management focus on the boring admin!

Agree with these guys editors should have more privileges. They could help the streamer so much more with more privileges.

There are so many settings in the Dashboard that an Editor can't see. If Editor is more focused on Editing/Managing videos then perhaps a totally different role should be made that basically gives an individual access to the entire dashboard/backend (with permission settings so that a streamer can limit access to financial data for example).

The inability to access various dashboard areas greatly reduces our ability to help streamers grow.

For example: Worrying about data/numbers can be extremely stressful for many and if someone else could access that information then they could help the streamer make informed decisions.

Definitely think this should be addressed again by Twitch immediately and accelerated.

Also, Streamers should have full control over permissions. All permission should be defaulted on, but if streamers feel that it’s necessary, they should be able to turn permissions off. There’s no reason why an Editor role couldn’t be customizable based on what the channel owner needs.

This post has been planned for nearly 2 years, and I cannot imagine why it hasn't been implemented yet. Please, please, please we need either an updated Editor role or a completely new Manager role! So many of my friends and streamers I moderate for are simply too busy to update many of their emotes/panels, etc. In my opinions, this updated Editor (or completely new Manager role) needs the following permissions:

- Current Editor & Moderator privileges.
- Moderate moderators, and the ability to add/remove moderators/VIPs.
- Access to an Audit log for all changes made to the Broadcaster's channel.
- Ability to edit and delete clips.
- Ability to manage subscriber emotes, bits emotes, loyalty badges, bits badges, cheermotes, and channel points rewards (including creating/removing rewards, community challenges, and ability to upload artwork).
- Ability to edit Twitch panel artwork and text.
- Edit/Create chat rules.
- Edit Auto-host list and ability to host/raid.

no idea why this isn't a thing yet. planned since 8. Nov 2018 - that's almost 2 years ago. a lot of the things mentioned in the original topic and the comments would really help out the streamers.

+1 to this. allowing us to edit channel point redemptions and community challenges would also be useful.

Clip access would be something I would like. I am an editor for a couple of streams, I love being able to do the highlights, but I also would like easier access to clips, so that I can easier access, download them and create the highlights and clip compilations for the YouTube channels I edit for.

This would perhaps optionally also be delete / title edit rights for clips.

Clip title's aren't even editable as a creator, so there's stuff to fix there too.

Channel points - we can manage a lot as a mod, but we cannot add/change the actual rewards. I have to login / use my logged-in-with-other-creator browser to access these (my wife's).

Being able to see the Markers for other moderator editors. I can only see my own. Logging in as creator I can see all markers of all editors, but editors cannot see each other's. That makes collab marking and one editor highlighting difficult.

Why is this not a thing?
