Around 110 million people speak Farsi worldwide and in Iran alone, there are more than 28 million gamers according to a national survey.

There are many Farsi speaking streamers on the site and I'm sure Twitch knows about the number of people using the website within Iran (even though many use VPNs almost all the time to be able to access many websites next to watching twitch). As many have said before, not having the option for the language of the stream is hurtful for all the viewers of the website. No one uses the "Other" language option to find streams, and the most likely choice is to use English since it's the language they are more likely to understand. This forces streamers to choose the "English" tag in their streams and put "Farsi" in the title so there is a chance for people who speak the language to find the stream. And this is annoying for people who are actually looking for English streams. Everyone loses in this reality.

And that's why we're asking for "Farsi" to be added to the options. Having the website in Farsi is not necessary (although the foundation is already there since Arabic and other right-to-left languages exist on the website), but please do consider adding Farsi. Twitch is a website created for ALL gamers, no matter their nationality, race, ***, gender, orientation or beliefs, and we Farsi speakers would like to be included as well! :D
