How it works:
  • Choose a relevant category for your idea and check to see if any other users have already submitted this suggestion before creating your own
  • Be clear with your suggestion, provide examples and solutions to the problem you are posing. Suggestions without actionable feedback may be closed without comment
  • Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests
  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information.
  • Titles that are unclear or unnecessarily vulgar may be reworded to better reflect the request for ease of discovery

If you need help:

  1. Raids at any point during a stream can significantly alter the statistics for that stream over time, and changes the meaning of those statistics. As such they ought to be represented on the graph on the Stream Summary page.

For example, the bar representing the 5 min chunk where a raid occurred should be a different color than the rest, and hovering over it, which now brings up "Average Viewers: #" should also include "Raid (username): #"

  2. This launch of Creator Goals is just the beginning by giving creators a way to set goals and show them to their community. However, we know there’s so much more to build. We see opportunities to enable deeper customization, advanced settings, and more community interaction. You can find more information at our help article here: https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/creator-goals

We’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions on how we can improve Creator Goals on Twitch.

Thank you for your ongoing support and feedback!

Looking for Feedback  ·  Ana responded

    Hi all,

Thank you so much for your valuable feedback. We have launched a few improvements to Creator Goals, based on the insights you have provided:

    1. Customize your Creator Goals' color to better reflect your channel's branding.
    2. Viewers using the mobile app (iOS & Android) are now able to follow and contribute to your Creator Goal progress in real time!
    3. Sub Goals can be toggled to be based on Sub Count rather than Sub Points.

Thank you again, for your feedback - we hope you continue to share it, so we can continue to improve this feature for our community!

  3. The DJ community regularly creates multi-DJ events ("Raid Trains") where DJs take turns doing a set for a predetermined amount of time and then raid the next channel on the schedule. These events can last anywhere from a few hours up to several days. Twitch needs a feature where a user could "follow" the raid train and allow them to pop in at any time. Currently, you'd have to know which channel in the raid train is broadcasting at the given hour, search for them and then join. In a 4-day raid train with 90 DJs, this can be a…

  4. Any thoughts to implementing a level in between Affiliate and Partner. I believe having unlocks like additional emote slots for example would lead to more subscriptions and higher views and an easier path to partner.

    • Take away region lock from watch parties.

    • Allow subs to watch along, even without prime!

Thanks for the feedback, we’re working on making Watch Parties available to our global community in the coming months. Stay tuned for more!

  5. Add the ability to filter criteria like stream language, stream category (game) and a viewer range to then click "Raid Random" and raid a random streamer matching these criteria. Therefore streamers can raid small streamers without needing to decide on who to raid and without needing to check the online streams list.

  6. The feature in channel analytics -- "What categories do my viewers like to watch?" -- seems like it does not update daily. But, in general, we could use more information and focus on this, period.

Regarding the first request, can we get assurance this is updated daily, and if not can we make it daily? Knowing what our viewers like to watch and being able to continue to serve that is, perhaps, the most important metric of all. Having observed the metrics, it appears to me this data get a weekly refresh and then is only an average of those…

  7. Teams are a massively underutilized commodity on the platform. Adding a "Follow All" button to the team page, allowing teams to have an emote that is shared across subs to any of the team members, BROWSING FOR TEAMS, and many other things other than simply a tag and static page.

  8. It is a great idea but a failed launch. It kicks people out of the watch party, and leaves a silent window with just you in their with the watch party. Unless you have a good scene, it can be embarrassing and low grade quality to not allow others to be in the party.

I stopped the film because I lost all of my viewers after I switched over to Watch Parties from a "just chatting" while I was gathering a crowd to watch the show. However, this app forces people to sign up for Prime, or start a trial.…

Thanks for your feedback. We will keep it in mind as we plan our upcoming releases.

  9. Allow users to delete Twitch Drops. Sometimes I watch streamers who play x game which has Drops enabled. I also get them and never play that game, so they're unused, so it would be nice to be able remove Drops from the inventory. Thank you.

Admin audit: Edited title from "Twitch drops" to "Remove In Progress/Complete Drops from Inventory" for ease of discovery.

  11. With the introduction of the "Hype Train Autopilot", it would be helpful for creators to be able to see the stats on previous hype trains.

Data is a core tool for creators to be able to make informed choices that best suit their communities. While Hype Train Autopilot claims it will 'help you earn MORE support from each Hype Train', without data to compare that to - it falls flat.

It's like someone saying something claiming to be factual, and their source is 'dude trust me'.

  12. The completed Hype Train levels should boost the % of payout to the streamer for subs/gifted subs received during the Hype Train event. There needs to be more reward for the streamer when their audience triggers a Hype Train.

    For Example:
    Level 1 - No Change in %
    Level 2 - Additional 2 %
    Level 3 - Increased to 5%
    Level 4 - Increased to 8%
    Level 5 - Increased to 15%

Perhaps the % increases differently based on the difficulty of the Hype Train the streamer has set up. The harder the levels, the higher the %.

  13. Have a mid tier, the requirements to join partner are very high but lock sooo many features and sub badges with that i suggest a middle tier witch could have a minimum followers of 100, viewer average of 12-20 or smthn along those lines and give those people the ability to squad stream & unlock more emotes without being a partner.

  14. In the Dashboard, allow us to enable and disable Sub Gifting or Multi-Sub Gift Bombs in our channel.

This has many uses, and I'd love to hear what others would use this for as well (more feedback the better).

    • Moves support focus towards Bits/Cheering instead of Gifted Subs (especially with Hype Chat functions moving to Bits/Cheering)
    • Prevents people missing out on being able to sub themselves because they got a gift in a gift sub bomb
    • Disincentives people from 'never subscribing' because they "always get gifted anyways"
    • Could be used by those pushing for Partner Plus,…

  15. once a raid is initiated by the streamer any streamers planning to raid in should be given a notification that the current stream they want to raid into is in the process of raiding another streamer.

this would help with instances of when someone raids into a stream that has already raided out leaving them in an empty chat.

possible solution: having a notification pop-up letting Streamer B know that Streamer A is currently in the process of raiding another person. accompanied with a button allowing Streamer B to "cancel raid" or "join the raid", which would let them group…

  18. There have been numerous requests over the last couple years to include Native Americans in your efforts to highlight diversity.
Twitch has dedicated entire months to other groups, which is wonderful, yet did not even commit to a single day last year for the US's Indigenous People's Day in order to highlight the numerous Native American streamers on your platform. Indigenous erasure in all industries plays a part in our ongoing struggle for respect and sovereignty. There are so many incredible indigenous streamers on your platform. Please include Natives in your heritage month celebrations.

  19. The button for reordering team members in the team dashboard has been missing for a while. The hover now only shows a delete button.

I'm using Brave Browser — I can confirm that turning off Brave shields does not bring back the button.
