Celebration Feedback
Just got the e-mail saying i was part of this test and I can already tell you it's a bad idea. A 50/50 split on a one-time event? Why would anyone prefer this to a gift sub that grants your emotes to someone for an entire month? If you're going to take half either way, why would any reasonable person choose the less impactful reward?
It's an interesting idea, but making it cost bits instead of taking 50% of the cost would be a better use of the feature.

I genuinely don't see a purpose that the feature fills. Almost everything about it from a value standpoint has already been made obsolete by bits, subs, or both. On top of that, the overlay aspect itself is currently like a half-baked version of what people already use from streaming suites like Streamlabs and such due to the bare bones level of customization.
If it were baked into the existing bits and subs system instead of being its own 50/50 split option, I could see this feature gaining limited traction, but as it stands, it really doesn't bring anything new to the table.

50% split on donations is pretty awful, and making the entire screen flash green is annoying.

Absolutely not. This is blatantly muddying the waters with way too many methods to support streamers, all while Twitch gets way too much of the proceeds. Are subscriptions, gift subs, and bits not enough?

I dislike this idea, but at least.. at least.. make it optional so it can be disabled. If this isn't done, I think the backlash from the Twitch community will be way too much for this to success in any way, at all.
So please do make it something you can disable/enable at will.

This looks a lot like twitch is trying to get as much money as possible before cutting and running/closing the service. Priorities have been literally stealing money from creators.....

Apparently my comment got deleted and my vote also revoked. Thanks Twitch for trying to silence people.

This honestly is a great feature, and native implementation to encourage on-site transactions actually benefits both the streamer and the users, but you have to drop how much you are taking. At the very least take this down to 25% - 10% would be even more reasonable and really encourage the use from streamers. You can make this work, but the model you have setup now isn't right.

Consider putting yourself in the mind of a streamer. This split for one isn't a fair split at all. I understand there is different depts for different things but this creative dept has to go back to the drawing board on this occasion.
